The lights went out on Broadway Saturday night, and Bill de Blasio was a thousand miles away in Iowa. It was the moment that perfectly captured his distracted, ego-driven failure of a mayoralty.
Bill de Blasio does not care about New York City. He does not care about its people. He does not care about how it’s run. He does not care about you or your taxes, creating jobs or improving lives. All Bill de Blasio cares about is Bill de Blasio.
And so, for the good of the city, Gov. Andrew Cuomo needs to remove the mayor from office.
Let’s face it:

DeBlasio might be a Commucrat in a blue city but I've never heard ANYone, Dem or otherwise, from NY say ANYthing good about the man.

As to why someone with no chance of winning would run for president...they think they can yell "democracy is in danger" when they come to arrest them for being connected to this Epstein mess.

He's running for potus, to stuff a few extra 100K in his pockets before he leaves NYC. Same for a few others running on the D side. DeBlasio has made a mess of NYC.

Believe it or not, the NEXT mayor will be even worse! The city council now looks like the local board of Berlin on the East Germany side, circa 1970. There are 51 members --- 48 Democrats and 3 Republicans! (No I'm not kidding.) The feckless GOP gave up on NYC right after Rudy and there is no candidate to run for mayor ... unless Don Trump, Jr. (or someone else like his dad) decides to run!
I feel bad for my former home ... but glad I'm not there anymore in many ways.

"Every day, he drags himself out of bed at the crack of 10"
He sounds like a tall, white version of our dear Lightbringer. Does his own thing, spends millions on nothing, doesn't care a lick about New York City and has his eyes focused on the prestige of the Oval Office but not the work it requires. They really, really do hate him. Come on New Yorkers, you can do better just by taking a walk down Skid Row and picking the first guy you step over who is wearing a plaid sport jacket.

Far too many people grew up in democrat families, towns and states. They will always vote democrat no matter what. And if they're still attracted to the old media, it'll never change. Which means they would vote for an AOC, Sharpton or even re-elect a DeBlasio. Mindless people.

Now I see why he changed his name, Warren Wilhelm Jr., to Bill de Blasio. So that when people hate de Blasio, they're leaving Warren Wilhelm alone.

Should have happened the day after he was sworn in. Wilhelm, don't forget to take the sweat faced lezzo 'wife' with you! Don't be late when the furniture truck arrives, NYC can't wait for the worst mayor to leave office!

The Post decided to rev up its headline, which now says:
"The Post says: It’s time to fire Mayor de Blasio”
Good idea. Can the governor remove him?

You could also replace the name 'Bill de Blasio' with 'Andrew Cuomo' to describe how much Cuomo cares about New York State and its people.

Unfortunately, a vast majority of New Yorkers, who have drunk the Kool Aid for many years, will merely say something like "he may be a poor excuse for a mayor but he's our poor excuse."
