Donald Trump abandoned the Iran nuclear deal to spite Barack Obama, according to a leaked memo written by the UK's former ambassador in the US.
Sir Kim Darroch described the move as an act of "diplomatic vandalism", according to the Mail on Sunday.
The paper says the memo was written after the then Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson appealed to the US in 2018 to stick with the nuclear deal.
The latest leak came despite the Met Police warning against publication

The truth is that Obama sold out the US in this horrible "deal," and President Trump did his best to mitigate the damage.

The Enemedia placed communist-mentored Lightbringer in the White House to spite real Americans.
President Trump is doing his best to undo the damage.

"The seriousness of the charge demands we investigate this charge"... Thanks Dan Rather for inventing this saying to investigate W. Bush.
In other words...I just made-up this memo so now it must be investigated.

Those countries remaining in the nuclear deal should also abandon it. Their staying in the nuclear deal is an act of vandalism (to spite the U.S.?). Their devising a system to go around US sanctions (INSTEX) is an act of economic vandalism.

Fake news- but then again, So what? Does it matter why President Trump abandoned the super bad deal? No, it does not! What matters is, the Iranians got their play pretty snatched away- and rightly so. Bad deals are bad deals no matter what. Midnight runs of cargo planes filled with cash is not an upright deal. The whole world knows that. So, Boris Johnson be damned, I still think Obama did the wrong things and President Trump did the right thing to try to correct it.

Don't much care for the Beeb, but if the headline is true, spiting Obama was just a bonus of scrapping the Iran deal. If it were up to me Iran would not have access to air nor water!

Notice, like what was leaked before, this is "sir" Kim's opinion. Saying Obama made a bad deal doesn't mean it was rejected because BO did it but instead that the deal itself was bad.
A lot of old style diplomacy was done through WHO you knew, who you had dinner with, not what was in the agreement. That resulted in a lot of bad deals. Trump will smile, shake your hand, call you a friend, and dine with you but the DEAL has to be a good one or it isn't worth it. For Trump, the expected RESULTS are the thing. Unlike "sir" Kim for who the schmooze is what matters.
BO certainly deserved no respect. He was a horrible and possibly criminal president. If Trump squashed the Iran deal simply as an act of erasing BO's "legacy", that's OK. Everything that BO did was bad for the Country.

Of concern is the fact that Boris tried to persuade the President to stay in the awful deal (and he may become the new PM). It could have been him applying UK govt policy (per Cabinet responsibility) but I do remember when BO got voted in first time, Boris was fulsome with his praise, even orgasmic. Most of us here were not so easily fooled.

Oh please, this rates right up there with Trump hiring prostitutes to pee on bed Obama had occupied.

Obama did everything to spite the American people. What President Trump did was the proper thing to do and if it spited Obama I certainly don't care. Any 'deal' with the terrorist in Iran is a bad one.

Kudos to the leaker that disclosed the ignorance, incompetence, bias, and socialism of Darroch. Mr. Darroch has not withstood scrutiny very long, being let go as soon as anyone with sense read his cables. To Great Britain, you had best not send us any more fools. Thank you!

If everything PDT has done in rolling back o'blubber's policies is out of spite, we'll take it. We have spite for him too, but it's not about him. It's about US. To heck with that little nothing. No one cares about him. We want him to go away, and we wish we'd never even heard of him.

Yeah, sure. spiting Obama was much more important than removing nukes from the hands of Islamic terrorists. The UK ambo has gone bonkers.
The fact that it meant poking sticks into the eyes of Barack and Valerie was just icing on the cake.

Uh, I think he pulled us out of the "treaty" (never submited to the Senate) because he repeatedly promised to do as much during the campaign. The people must have wanted to "spite Obama" because they agreed with his promised action and chose him over the Hildebeast.

Let’s say Trump did spike the deal with Iran just to spite Obama.
So what? Let’s hear Obama’s mealy-mouthed motivation for making
that deal in the first place. On the topic of Iran, why did Barry send a planeload of various currencies, American tax money there?
