Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said Tuesday the state would be canceling the incentives offered in a deal with Nike in response to the athletic company scrapping plans for a Betsy Ross-inspired sneaker. The sneakers, featuring a U.S. flag with 13 stars on each heel, reportedly was canned after former football player and political activist Colin Kaepernick said the design could be seen as an offensive symbol of slavery. Mr. Ducey said the state was supposed to announce a deal with Nike but then “this news broke yesterday afternoon.”(Snip) “It is a shameful retreat for the company. American businesses should be proud

Nike, Apple, Google, Twitter, Starbucks, Microsoft, and any other liberal-led organizations have CEO’s bred from the same indoctrination camps. They make the big bucks while sleeping with pictures of Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin over their beds.

I've been done with Nike for a long time. They pander to people who, allegedly, cannot afford $100 Chinese shoes.

"could be seen as an offensive symbol of slavery"
What, in the eyes of the WOKE, isn't? And what would Kaepernick call the Chinese who toil in Nike's sweatshops for near-starvation wages? Oh yeah... they can't be slaves because they're not blacks living in the USA. Idiots.

Since the United States cannot confer knighthood on citizens, I offer highest praise for Governor Ducey, who is a governor who honors ALL the people, not just a specimen class. I hope Arizona appreciates him.

The British flag is a symbol of slavery and oppression as far as I'm concerned. They were the ones who made it fashionable to be a slaver, starting with small vagabond children and Irish Catholics they wanted to clean off the streets and banish to the "new world" to fend for themselves. An Irishman was "free" from the British, as compared to an African slave who was bought. Irish men and boys were worked to death at no financial loss, but the blacks were another story. Sadly, the true story of slavery in the Colonies has never been adequately told to kids, including that there were freed blacks who themselves became slave owners.

So Kapernick is the head of Nike makes all their business decisions that in and of itself makes the company not one that I would support nor should anyone. He is just a washed up and not effective quarterback and not I guess the one that runs Nike.

He wants to boycott a symbol of slavery? How about dumping your muslim girlfriend? Muslims were the slave traders who dealt with the tribes back in that era of slave running. Get mad at the right target Colin Kaperquack, or don't get mad at all.

Colon Kaepernik is a terrible CEO. Who put him in charge? Meanwhile, I stopped dealing with Nike too, years ago, a decision underscored by their hating of traditional values.
