The Selective Prosecution of Kellyanne Conway

Original Article

Posted By: MissMolly, 6/14/2019 5:05:53 AM

As if the woman didn't have enough to deal with the-most-jealous-husband-on-the-planet, Kellyanne Conway is now being prosecuted, or is it persecuted, by a hitherto little-discussed operation called the U.S. Office of Special Counsel or OSC (not to be confused with Mueller, et al.). These unknown bureaucrats and/or legal eagles want Kellyanne fired for.... wait for it... making political comments while in the White House, specifically: "Given that Ms. Conway is a repeat offender and has shown disregard for the law, OSC recommends that she be removed from federal service,".

This is what happens to Republicans who fight back. Take note, invertebrate GOPers - if you've not being persecuted and crucified, you're not fighting back. Whose team does that put you on?

Fortunately, this looks like exactly what it is - political persecution. And for the many Democrats who are going to vote for Trump, this simply validates their reasoning. Trump has been persecuted and prosecuted since before he was elected. He has been singled out for outrageous targeting from the media-liberal-Democrat complex. It is clear to anyone with eyes and ears that everyone around Trump is likewise being persecuted and often jailed. Even the dumbest of liberals can see this. Even Obama voters and Hillary voters don’t like it when people are unjustly targeted. They will vote accordingly in 2020. Unless they are Maxine Waters.

If they can find ANYTHING to try to exploit against ANYONE in the Trump administration, they will attempt to pick off those they dislike with constant and questionable media lynching. Crapweasels like Jim Acosta trying to become famous by ridiculous and baseless flurries of 'accusations' make it tough for the press secretary to take them seriously, but the media props itself up daily trying to get someone to crack. They have already begun the assault of election 2020 and are just now beginning to intensify their coordinated attacks.

I would love it if Trump simply said we don't need the OSC any longer. The Taxpayers don't need such an Obscure group of "Legal Eagles telling the President of the United States he needs to fire one of his Advisors (and the woman who was behind his WIN). Hate to say it, but the first time George publicly ran his mouth against our President, Ms Conway should have been let go. It's even a little suspect that she has been allowed to stay on. I know that she is competent and well-spoken, but she is unable to work and maintain her marriage and she has chosen to do both.

Do away with the OSC and the Hatch Act, and let's return to the halcyon days of raw patronage and open partisanship at every Federal agency. Those were the good old days. Every Federal employee knows about the Hatch Act and its restrictions, Ms Conway no exception. She knowingly violated the law multiple times. So, now, let's let her continue - because she's on our side. And one wonders how this government came to be a Swamp. You have a tax issue, a pending benefits application...what party do you support?

She won the presidency for Trump against their gal Hillary. That is the bottom line, and she is going to be persecuted for it. The really outrageous and appalling thing here is her own rotten, spoiled brat husband George. Didn't get to ride the coattails of his wife into the DOJ, and he will never let her forget it. He must be loving this right now. Just proves more and more how right they were to avoid hiring him. Her job is to make political comments in the WH, and they know it. Good on Trump for standing by her.

Sorry #11 - that's not quite how it works in DC. Political favoritism is an issue at the higher levels of an agency. The senior managers and political appointees. Eight years of the Obama Administration and I had to se everyday on a government desktop computer, screen after screen of the Obama family and no one dared say a word because the offending employee was Black.

There is a difference, as Kellyanne Conway is not in anyway a Civil Service employee, she is a top aide and political counselor to the President of the USA in the White House. The man who wrote the letter demanding that the President fire Kellyanne is a past John McCain operative, that should tell you something.

A group of middle-aged men sat under the umbrellas at the cheap fiberglass tables of the Holiday Inn in Columbus, Georgia not far from Fort Benning. They deserved a Ritz-Carlton, but this would have to do. The sign out in front of the hotel, the letters hanging somewhat askew, read: WELCOME 8TH AIRBORNE RANGER COMPANY The comment about taking an unfortunate enemy round in the gluteus maximus was an affectionate jab from one member of the company to another, and it was met with howls of protest and laughter. “Son,” a grizzled old veteran

Imagine if Donald Trump announced he would change his longtime opposition to public funding of abortion in order to ensure that black, Hispanic, and poor women can abort their babies. Would liberals need even 10 seconds before foaming at the mouth screaming that he’s a racist? Last week in Atlanta, Joe Biden, Democrat presidential frontrunner for 2020, said: “For many years as a U.S. senator, I have supported the Hyde amendment as many, many others have because there was sufficient monies and circumstances where women were able to exercise that right [to abortion], women of color, poor women, women were not able to have access…. But circumstances have changed.” Thus, said Biden,

In the new warning, UCSIS officers will “remind” sponsors that they can — and now will — be asked to pay back “every dollar” of welfare that the immigrants take. “The president has made it a priority

No wonder New York City’s latest move in respect of abortion was advanced “under the radar,” as the New York Times put it. The plan being hatched to start allocating taxpayer funds for abortions for poor women who travel here from other states may not, at least at the moment, involve a lot of money. It is, though, a shocking escalation in the population wars. The plan, according to the Times, which broke the story, is for the city to allocate $250,000 for abortions. The idea, the headline suggests, is to challenge conservative states that have been moving to curb abortions. The allocation from taxpayer funds would go to a charity,

Presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway stands accused of violating the Hatch Act. The alleged violations consist mostly of comments Conway made on various news shows disparaging certain Democratic candidates such as Joe Biden, Cory Booker, and Elizabeth Warren. I very much doubt that the Hatch Act was intended to bar the president’s political advisers from criticizing potential opponents. The Office of Special Counsel (not to be confused with Robert Mueller’s former shop) is the outfit that found Conway guilty of Hatch Act violations and said she should be removed from her job. It describes the purposes of the Act as “to ensure that federal programs are administered in a nonpartisan fashion,

The United States has a long tradition of reliance on a two-party political structure. For that structure to function effectively both parties need to be competent and responsible. Unfortunately, that is not the case now. The lineup of Democrat presidential candidates currently stands at 25 and growing. Conrad Black has aptly described them as “unelectable non-entities.” The long and growing list is more like a tower of babel than a collection of credible leaders. Evidence of that is that leading the race currently is former senator and vice president Joe Biden. Beyond the confines of the Democrat Party the reaction to Biden’s candidacy is typically, “Is this a joke?”
