Media Claims Notwithstanding,
Trump Is Favored To Be Re-Elected

At least six Democratic candidates would defeat President Trump if the election were held today and he’s struggling even in Texas, a pollster claims. Sen. Cory Booker, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and former vice president Joe Biden would trounce Trump by anywhere from five to 13 percentage points nationwide, the poll says. Another poll said Biden and Sanders had 12-point leads over Trump in Michigan. Media outlets such as Axios claim that Trump has a “re-election crisis“: Everywhere he looks, President Trump can see flashing warnings that his re-election is in serious peril, a week ahead

Don't bother with any of these phony polls being beamed to us by both friends and enemies. If you read the fine print, most of them were random samples of people. Not even bothering with registered voters. You walk down the street in NY or LA or any left-wing city, and just ask anyone you meet who you will vote for (if they even vote themselves). Then you breathlessly broadcast the result as 'Trump getting crushed' or some such non-sense. Its all propaganda from our dear friends in the media. They're going to have egg on their faces once again in 2020, and I'm going to be there to enjoy every moment.

#1 and there is where the problem lies. The majority of the poling is done in major metropolitan areas which of course generally lean left. They do not survey in fly over rural country because it is more difficult for them to accomplish. The other issue is polling being done by telephone. With cell phones being the primary phone of youth, you are more likely to reach them via cell and not the older voters. This would skew the poling data. Personally I do not answer either my cell or my land line unless I recognize the caller ID. Most people I know do this because of the rash of robo calls I receive on a daily basis. We don't answer but, will check messages. If you leave a message and you are someone I want to talk to I will call back. In fact, no one can reach me or many of the people of my age do poll us at all. With us missing the rest of the data has to be incorrect. Look at 2016!!

If polls were anywhere near reality, Hillary would be living in the White House and we would have two Presidents instead of one chasing women interns. So, worry about something else rather than Spartacus or Buttplug getting the better of the Donald.

Right! These are the same pollsters (who weight the Polling with Democrats) who said Hillary would win in a landslide. I don't believe any of the Polls, especially now. I think Trump will win in a Landslide. I see the Clowns the Democrats are running and I shake my head that any person with a tiny bit of common Sense would vote for any of them. Trump has accomplished so much that even some Democrats will vote for him because it affects THEIR life. They have more money, their 401K is looking good, Jobs are good, Trump is kicking the Losers off of Welfare and on and on and on. After eight years of Obama, I don't see people going back to Democrat control! I think those Dems who voted for Trump are still in his Court! They see results!

We're supposed to believe that people polling less than 10% in the all-Democrat primary would defeat Trump? LOL. Cory Booker barely registers on anyone's radar. Ask Hillary about polls - she was supposed to win Wisconsin, Michigan, and PA by comfortable margins.

I agree with all of the posters above, the polling methodology is completely skewed and cannot be taken seriously. It's done in a manner that automatically presents Trump as a losing candidate. I tend to think that it is partially done to discourage those of us who love President Trump and intended to vote for him in 2020 from doing just that. Well, I for one don't care one whit about these silly polls and will happily vote for Trump in 2020 and will be delighted to see the egg on these people's faces once again. They were wrong in 2016 and will be wrong again in 2020. I have no doubt about it. MAGA!

Fourteen popular vote states, one thousand illegal aliens entering the USA and scattering per week, over one million just since what, September? and a deep state that will make sure they all get registered and they all vote. The deep state and Marxists already have yet another Orange Man Bad stole the election meme for 2020 which, should the impossible happen and Trump wins (he won't thanks to the illegal vote and popular vote states), he'll be investigated again BY the feckless GOP...again or if he loses, he will be indicted for breathing, tried, convicted and jailed. Yes, polls are utterly meaningless.

I follow the President's rallies and the body count doesn't lie. Moreover, the RNC has the names, emails addresses and phone numbers of most who attend and are setting up their grassroots for 2020. Check out the Orlando Rally next week with Governor De Santis and Senators Scott and Rubio. They'll pack them in for sure. The Dems have to bus in people from "Rent a Mob" to a Democrat event to make it look decent. Then they shoot tight shots and give a fake estimate about the number of people who attend. There no comparison and the Dems know it. This is why they are flailing like mad dogs, because they know what's coming down the pike. I notice our Tea Party here is getting active again as they should with all this talk about socialism. I hope everyone does whatever they can to protect our country from the tyrannical Left.

If you desire to believe the polls ask Hillary Clinton about that. She sat back, sipped Chardonnay and visited Hollywood wearing an oven mitt to raise millions of dollars and lost her bid for president. Why? Hillary believed the polls and so did everyone on the left. Hillary it turned out couldn't beat Sanders and had to rig that then there was the 'insurance policy' by the corrupted FBI and she still couldn't beat citizen Trump. Now it's totally different all the hopefuls just have voter fraud to fall back on, no fix by the FBI and the 'most tweeting' President they've ever encountered. Joe Biden better control his mouth when he speaks of President Trump or tells a lie because a tweet will sure to follow. That goes for all the democrat hopefuls it's a brand new era for all of them. This ain't 2016.

"but firms such as Goldman Sachs are deeply concerned about making money for the corporation and its clients" And therefore, if their pollsters BS them like the other polls do, and they lose money because of it, those pollsters will be fired. The public polls are propaganda and are used to sway voters to vote with the herd. The pollsters KNOW this and that if they don't deliver what the propaganda folks want to hear, they won't be called on again. The poll organizations embody the quote about "lies, damn lies, and statistics". They can't be obvious about it but their skill resides in being able to simulate an unbiased poll while tweaking the question or the poll population to get the answers they want for their clients. "too much like 1996 Bob Dole or 2012 Mitt Romney, neither of whom had the energy needed" LOVE this comparison. Mitt is still wimping around with his indignant nose in the air. Maybe he needs to speak to Bob Dole about some viagra. Or look up "Bob" to ask about "Peak Performance Enhancements". "choosing instead to claim, as per usual, that Trump is in “crisis.”" Besides Russia, this is the other meme that the media pushes. Supposedly, Trump's administration has been on the verge of collapse since before he took office. If that were so, the Left can thank their favorite deity for it because if the past couple years of success are what Trump can do "in crisis", imagine what he could have accomplished if things were functioning smoothly. Of course the media is judging "crisis" by the political norm of stagnation. Trump is supremely comfortable in the chaos of high competition business. There is a REASON business is efficient and government is not. In business, things are constantly in turmoil, seeking better ways to do things. This yields better products, happier customers, and bigger profits. Government, on the other hand, seems to continue no matter how poorly it works so the people that compose it have no pressure to perform. What seems like "crisis and chaos" to the media is just another day at the office to Trump. A side effect is that the media and other politicians can't keep up. They aren't smart enough and don't have the energy.

The Enemedia successfully lied about BarackHussein in 2008 and 2012. In 2016 their lying about Miss Hillary was not as successful, as Donald Trump outsmarted the Enemedia as much as he defeated Miss Hillary. In 2020 the Enemedia will not make the same mistake, and most likely will resort to far more drastic, undemocratic/criminal measures to ensure a Socialist victory.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? I’m talking about the Abraham Accords, peace deals between Israel and various Arab states — the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan — that have sought the Jewish state’s destruction since its founding in 1948. Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.
