Vermont Gov. Phil Scott signed Monday a sweeping no-limits abortion bill, creating a “fundamental right” to the procedure as a bulwark against the Supreme Court’s 5-4 conservative majority. Mr. Scott, a pro-choice Republican, signed the bill in private, a marked contrast from the splashy celebration that accompanied New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s signing of legislation in January clearing the path for abortion through 40 weeks’ gestation. Afterward, Mr. Scott posted a statement saying that the legislation, H. 57, “affirms what is already allowable in Vermont—protecting reproductive rights and ensuring those decisions remain between a woman and her health

The decent into depravity and the devolution of our judeo-christian moral nation continues to pick up speed.
What's the end game?
If you believe that God helped form this nation, you know the answer.
We live on borrowed time, so plan ahead.

Why stop there? Why not give mom a day to think it over? Why not two days, two weeks? What's the magic between the womb and literally minutes later bestows human rights?

"Mr. Scott posted a statement saying that the legislation, H. 57, “affirms what is already allowable in Vermont—protecting reproductive rights and ensuring those decisions remain between a woman and her health provider."
So how is this different than a woman deciding to end her own life. She wants a 'health provider' to assist her in dying, for what ever reason, by the health provider giving her an overdose of an opioid?
Slippery slope????

As much as I abhor the whole idea of abortion, the most we could hope for with a SC reversal of Roe v Wade is that the legislation would be left up to the individual states. I do believe it should be brought to a vote and not decided by a bunch of politicians worried about re-election.

I weep for our country. All morality is subjective and all that remains to be seen is how long all 50 states will remain in the Union. Trump came to late to stop the slide into eventual civil war or wars of secession.
On the plus side, the vast majority of women opting to kill their unborn children vote democrat. If you can call that a plus side.

Might as well be honest and put a (D) in front of his name. A RINO is more despicable than a Democrat.

Remember when the motto was to make abortion safe, legal and rare? Well, it certainly isn't rare and it hasn't proven to be safe, so that leaves legal.

It’s important to let the baby be born, clean it up, wrap in a soft fuzzy blanket and feed it and keep it comfortable before mom decides to abort it. After all it’s no limits. Then if done properly all of the bodies organs can be harvested and sold. Just look at the economic upside. Population control to save the earth. Plus the income stream for organ marketing to the highest bidder and mom doesn’t have to be bothered raising a kid. Now as soon as she gets out of the hospital she can go right back to working the streets. Total win win. Only downside is a dead baby. But politicians can live with that.

The "Reproduction Rights" thing is dumb and totally illegitimate.
Abortion isn't a Reproductive Right. When you have sex and get pregnant that is reproduction and 99% of abortions are done when the woman has CHOSEN to have sex.. Aborting is killing a baby AFTER the woman has conceived.
