A former senior adviser to President Barack Obama was among those who ridiculed Joe Biden on Sunday, after the former vice president celebrated his friendship with Obama by tweeting an image of a friendship bracelet. "Happy #BestFriendsDay to my friend, @BarackObama," Biden wrote. "This is a joke, right?" David Axelrod tweeted in response to Biden's original tweet, which many claimed was Biden's forced attempt to associate himself with the former president.(Tweet)Biden claimed in his memoirs that Obama repeatedly discouraged from running in 2016, believing that Biden's entrance into the race would unnecessarily "rock the boat."

Like we've said, there is 0% chance Biden will be the nominee. And the only reason he can claim any stature as VP is because of BarackHussein's monumentally bad judgment. Michelle must be smirking at this childish, and drippingly icky, bracelet nonsense....

And so it starts. Since Biden has refused to take the hints of Obama, he will deal with Biden and it will not be pretty. Obama has a way with clearing a playing field that even caught the Clintons off guard in 2008. Biden cannot be allowed to run, simply because the risk of exposure to Obama is so great. If Biden is not already aware of that, that his being a former VP does not protect the record, then he is a bigger fool than we are taking him for. And so not qualified to be President.

“The right doesn’t actually care about black or brown babies.” I have seen viral variations of this quote on social media countless times the past couple of weeks, amidst pro-life victories in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Ohio, and more. I listened as Alyssa Milano claimed that protecting the preborn would be “catastrophic” for black women. I was deeply disturbed as major news outlets flooded readers with arguments that black women would be hurt the most by pro-life laws, even to the point of enslaving them once again. And I was in utter disbelief when Ohio state Rep. Janine Boyd proposed an amendment to a bill

In the running-around-with-their-hair-on-fire department, the Congressional Democrats just topped themselves with yesterday’s bizarre testimony of convicted felon John Dean before the House Judiciary Committee. Students of history may recall that Dean served in the Nixon White House as Counsel to the President and pled guilty in 1974 to obstruction of justice for his role in covering up the ties between Nixon’s Committee to Re-Elect the President and the Watergate burglary. Since then, Dean has become a CNN commentator. Under the leadership of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), the committee is investigating whether or not President Trump obstructed justice based on the innuendo-laden report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Despite the fact

1. ‘The Vault Is on Fire’ The fire that swept across the backlot of Universal Studios Hollywood on Sunday, June 1, 2008, began early that morning, in New England. At 4:43 a.m., a security guard at the movie studio and theme park saw flames rising from a rooftop on the set known as New England Street, a stretch of quaint Colonial-style buildings where small-town scenes were filmed for motion pictures and television shows. That night, maintenance workers had repaired the roof of a building on the set, using blowtorches to heat asphalt shingles. They finished the job at 3 a.m. and, following protocol, kept watch over the site for another hour

In October of 2016, I had a chat with a senior adviser to Hillary Clinton. I had once worked for Bill Clinton but I’d spent the previous year arguing in Salon that Bernie Sanders was better on policy and a better bet to beat Donald Trump. Politicians remember what you did in the primary — the Clintons kept lists — so I was grateful for the chance to talk. Tim Kaine had just debated Mike Pence and talked way more about Trump’s ill character than Pence’s extreme economic views. (Pence opposed not just a living wage but the $7.25 national minimum wage that even most Republicans see as wage slavery.) Clinton

California wants to look after its people, so it keeps expanding its social safety net. It also wants to welcome all comers and so embraces illegal immigrants and protects them in sanctuary cities. To see how this is working out, visit Skid Row in L.A. or neighborhoods in San Francisco or elsewhere where homeless camps are spreading. Caring for all Californians is made harder by the state importing as many non-Americans as possible. It's almost incredible, but also entirely characteristic, that California lawmakers have now decided to give healthcare free to nearly 100,000 illegal immigrants aged 19 to 25.

In April, The New York Times International published a cartoon featuring Netanyahu as a guide dog and wearing a Star of David around his neck being walked by President Trump seen wearing a yarmulke. After putting out a statement admitting the cartoon had "anti-Semitic tropes" and was an "error in judgment," the paper issued an apology. The cartoon received widespread condemnation, including from its own editorial board, which called it "obviously bigoted"

Missouri’s only abortion clinic will remain open for now after a judge on Monday blocked state officials from closing it because of an ongoing licensing dispute. The state judge’s ruling kept Missouri from becoming the first state without an abortion clinic since the Supreme Court legalized the procedure nationwide in 1973. Judge Michael Stelzer had already granted Planned Parenthood a temporary reprieve on May 31 that blocked state officials from shuttering a St. Louis clinic the day its license to perform the procedure was set to lapse.

The extremism of the Democrats, their honed-to-a-fine-edge radicalism, is displayed almost daily on the subject of abortion. When anyone — like poor old Joe Biden — strays an inch on abortion, they’re quickly reined in as Biden was last week when he endorsed the Hyde Amendment and then was forced into a flip-flop. Their extremism goes beyond abortion to other important issues such as illegal immigration. The Dems are committed to an extreme open borders position. The Dems’ refusal to consider any legislation to stop the flow of illegal immigration across our southern border was, to their outrage, end-run by the president in his deal with Mexico last week. PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg knows firsthand the burden of six-figure student loan debt. With loans totaling more than $130,000, they are among the 43 million people in the United States who owe federal student loan debt.
