The Open Border Extremists

Original Article

The extremism of the Democrats, their honed-to-a-fine-edge radicalism, is displayed almost daily on the subject of abortion. When anyone — like poor old Joe Biden — strays an inch on abortion, they’re quickly reined in as Biden was last week when he endorsed the Hyde Amendment and then was forced into a flip-flop. Their extremism goes beyond abortion to other important issues such as illegal immigration. The Dems are committed to an extreme open borders position. The Dems’ refusal to consider any legislation to stop the flow of illegal immigration across our southern border was, to their outrage, end-run by the president in his deal with Mexico last week. The deal resulted

When newly arrived illegal aliens are allowed to board airliners in the USA without having to show the secure identification documents required of US citizens and legal aliens, TSA is taking a big chance. Because in many cases the immigration papers given to those illegal aliens at the borderline could easily include false identities, dates of birth, and nationalities, as most times the immigration authorities at the borderline have no way of knowing if the illegal aliens are giving their true name, date of birth, or nationality after they are arrested in the border area. Sometimes illegal aliens are in possession of copies of foreign birth certificates and other documents that may or may not relate to those particular illegal aliens, sometimes they are completely counterfeit documents, and therefore should not be trusted until after they are authenticated by home country authorities, a time consuming process that the US Border Patrol cannot accomplish because of the huge numbers of illegal aliens now gaining unlawful entry to the USA along the insecure borderline. It won’t be long before intending foreign criminals and terrorists figure that out, then for them the sky will be the limit, hopefully not when they are aboard a US airliner full of US citizens.

Wake up people! It is easy to see the end game of the democRats here. They are shuttling illegals to the states with the largest number of electoral college votes (California, New York, Texas, Florida, Ohio, etc.) and plan on allowing them to vote illegally in our upcoming elections. It is way past time to REQUIRE voter ID with proof of citizenship for all federal elected offices!

Employees of the online housewares giant Wayfair announced Tuesday that they would stage a walkout at the company’s Back Bay headquarters on Wednesday to protest its decision to sell furniture to the operators of facilities for migrant children detained at the southern US border. Last Wednesday, they learned that a $200,000 order of bedroom furniture had been placed by BCFS, a government contractor that has been managing camps at the border. More than 500 employees signed a letter of protest sent to company executives. When the company refused to change course, employees organized the walkout. “Knowing what’s going on at the southern border and knowing that Wayfair

On April 15, the New York Times staff gathered in the newsroom, looking up at Executive Editor Dean Baquet on a crimson staircase where he announced to rapturous applause that reporters David Barstow, Susanne Craig and Russ Buettner had won the Pulitzer Prize for their groundbreaking story on President Trump’s taxes. The trio “shattered Donald Trump’s myth of self-made billionaire,” Baquet said, exposing how the president and his family had evaded paying taxes for decades and committed “outright fraud.” Their story drew the fury of Trump who labeled it a “hit piece” from the “failing New York Times” and threatened to sue the paper. As more states pass pro-life laws, pro-abortion advocates are making their opinions on the issue known. Alyssa Milano just issued a state-by-state abortion bill guide for filmmakers, while networks and studios continue to double-down on their boycotts of states that have passed pro-life legislation. Reese Witherspoon, who has typically stayed out of politics, had her own starlet tantrum on Twitter, ignoring the will of a large majority of her southern neighbors. Miley Cyrus couldn’t resist the limelight — she coupled with Marc Jacobs to produce a sweatshirt emblazoned with “Don’t F*** with My Freedom,” the proceeds of which go to Planned Parenthood. Zohar: twenty-seven, confident, and voluble, a construction project manager proud of his work. Gabi: fastidious, attentive, academic, an early-education specialist who used to work at a preschool. A divided Supreme Court ruled Monday that a federal law requiring longer prison sentences for using a gun during a "crime of violence" is unconstitutionally vague. The court voted 5-4 stating the law "provides no reliable way" to determine which offenses qualify as crimes of violence. Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion on behalf of Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. "In our constitutional order, a vague law is no law at all," Gorsuch wrote. "Only the people's elected representatives in Congress have the power to write new federal criminal laws. And when Congress exercises that power, it has to write statutes that give ordinary people

Sadly, there are some Michael Jackson songs that — 10 years after the King of Pop’s death rocked the world on June 25, 2009 — just don’t sound the same anymore. One of them would be “P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)” — the bumping, sure-to-start-the-party jam from his 1982 blockbuster LP, “Thriller” — on which Jackson sings, “Tenderoni, you’ve got to be/Spark my nature, sugar, fly with me” with clenched, crotch-grabbing desire. That song — and, for some, all of MJ’s music — will never have the same pure thrill after “Leaving Neverland,” the documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January and then aired on HBO in March.

A $4.5 million House bill aimed at providing more funding to migrant families detained at the U.S.-Mexico border is posing a challenge to Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s grip on her party, as its liberal faction argue that the bill doesn’t go far enough while moderates worry that pushing for perfection will result in inaction at the border. Calls for more funding at the border come amid reports that children detained entering the U.S. from Mexico are being held under harsh conditions. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar told Fox News on Monday that the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border is dire.

Often in the early evening over the last few weeks, Joe Biden’s team has told reporters that the front-runner doesn’t have a public campaign schedule for the next day, but that he instead “will meet with advisers.” Biden has lots of meetings to attend to, but increasingly this has been code for prep sessions as the former vice-president and his aides think through how to counter a wide array of inevitable attacks in what will likely be just six and a half to nine minutes of talking time on the debate stage in Miami on Thursday. Biden debated well during the 2008 cycle and as the vice-president

Medicare-for-all. Medicare for all who want it. Health care as a form of freedom. As they campaign, most of the 23 Democratic candidates for president are trumpeting bold ideas to achieve the party’s long-held dream of ushering in health coverage for every American. The problem is that many voters are not focused on such lofty goals. They want something simpler — to pay less for their own health care. Voters have plenty to sort out, with nearly two dozen Democrats running, each offering a raft of proposals on many issues. But in public opinion surveys and interviews, people rank health care as their top concern. And with insurance deductibles,

It’s an article of faith among Democrats that the President’s base consists primarily of white working class voters without college degrees, and that they must be won back in order to beat Trump in 2020. This is why Elizabeth Warren inflicted that cringe-making, “I’m gonna get me a beer,” video on a long-suffering electorate. It is why Joe Biden, who reputedly enjoys a special rapport with blue collar voters, is the frontrunner for his party’s presidential nomination despite his penchant for gaffes and plagiarism. Thus, during this week’s Democratic debates, the candidates will devote considerable effort to courting the “deplorables.” This will, however, be an exercise in futility because everything

Climate change is threatening ancient Greek monuments, among them the Acropolis, one of the most-visited archaeological sites in the world, scientists said. Air pollution and acid rain are eroding marbles, while extreme weather phenomena such as droughts or torrential rains have led ancient walls and temples to develop structural problems. Even though the Acropolis hill, where the Parthenon stands, is probably Greece's best preserved archaeological site, there are signs that climate change has been increasingly affecting the monuments that stand on the hill. Just 12% of college debt is owed by those in the bottom quarter of income earners, according to the Urban Institute.
