Judge Andrew Napolitano's Lonely,
One-Man War Against Trump

Original Article

Occasionally, when the time is right and fewer people are watching, Fox News tosses a few Donald Trump critics into the mix. They generally receive airtime in the middle of the day—where the more moderate hosts Shep Smith and Bret Baier hold court—before the party line is reestablished by the Trump liege men of primetime (Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity). And then there is Judge Andrew Napolitano, the Libertarian Party voter and legal commentator, who seems to be disappearing from Fox News altogether as he’s grown more and more critical of the Trump administration and its treatment of the Mueller report. Fox News hasn’t dispatched with Napolitano altogether, of course

We noticed. We don't watch him any more.

Napolitano will make a wrong legal call as long as it tarnishes Trump... like Mueller, Comey, McCabe and the lovely and captivating Hillary Clinton.

Trump said that Napolitano asked him to put him on the supreme court and Trump said no. That would explain why Napolitano is always criticizing him and it also shows what a petty and vindictive man he is.

Most of us mute, or turn the Channel, when some of the FOX Libs show up. The latest Trump Hater is Donna Brazile. When she comes on, the TV goes off. Can't stand the woman. Never, ever watch Shep. Turn on Hallmark during that hour. The Judge used to be worth listening to, but he too turned against Trump, so Poof! He's gone when he appears. FOX should figure out that we are not captive to the Libs they have hired. We can get rid of them in a nanosecond!

Add my vote to those of viewers who no longer look forward to hearing what Napolitano has to say about legal issues. The old maxim is still true: anger and resentment are the poisons we drink, hoping the other person dies.

I’m not a fan of tossing around the word “Nazi.” Unlike our friends on the left, I know history and prefer to, when possible, keep political discussions civil and on the topic at hand. But they don’t, on either of those points. Either they are intellectually incapable of discussion beyond a Neanderthal “fire bad” level, or they are simply of poor character and profoundly dishonest, and dare I say, evil people. Likely both. The journey matters less than the destination in this case, because the destination, whichever path is taken to get there, is profoundly dangerous and wholly un-American. This was on full display this past week, from coast to coast.

Most of the coverage of James Mattis’s new book, Call Sign Chaos, co-authored with Bing West, deals with the former defense secretary’s relationship with President Trump. The Atlantic‘s pre-publication interview with Mattis was headlined, “The Man Who Couldn’t Take It Anymore.” The New York Times editorial page ran a column about Mattis called “The Man Trump Wishes He Were.” Both articles establish that Mattis doesn’t have much to say right now, in either the book or in interviews, about President Trump. Neither piece, though, mentions another president about whom Mattis is more than willing to dish. That would be Barack Obama, who was Mattis’s commander in chief

In 2017, Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) accused President Trump of showing “a disdain for an independent judiciary that doesn’t always bend to his wishes” after Trump criticized a judge who ruled against his administration. Senate Democrats, by contrast, have launched an unprecedented attempt to actually bend the Supreme Court to their wishes — threatening to restructure the court if the justices do not rule as they see fit. The threat came over the Supreme Court’s decision to hear a challenge to New York City’s restrictions on how gun owners who have residential permits can transport their guns. In a legal brief, Sens. "When they go low, we go high," said Michelle Obama at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Going high evidently includes a trademark fight. On Aug. 20, Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions made a move to save its name. Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic frontrunner Joe Biden is used to playing defense in the nascent presidential campaign, fending off accusations of wrongheadedness from fellow 2020 contenders on his record of race-related issues. Biden has sought to portray many of these criticisms as naïve and dismissive of the realities of serving as a U.S. senator in the company of segregationists. In a recent interview with NPR, the son of Delaware cast similar aspersions on critics of his foreign policy record, apparently ignoring his own public comments in the wake of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

The Cherokee Nation has named its first delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives. Former Obama appointee Kimberly Teehee's nomination was approved by the tribe's council on Thursday. Although the treaty that created this nonvoting position is almost 200 years old, it had never been filled. The article outlining the right to a delegate is in the Treaty of New Echota. The 1835 treaty is also the document that led to the Trail of Tears, something that has been top of mind for Teehee. She points out the treaty gave up the Cherokee's homelands and cost the tribe thousands of lives. "Literally blood, sweat and tears," Teehee said.
