The Stanford professor who saw through Elizabeth Holmes' Theranos fraud has blasted the company's investors as 'old men whose brains went to their groin'. Phyllis Gardner, a professor of medicine at Stanford and a former partner in a health care venture capital firm, criticized Elizabeth Holmes' blood testing company long before fraud charges were brought against her. Holmes, who was named one of America's richest women in 2014 by Forbes, with Theranos valued at $9 billion, is currently facing up to 20 years in jail for lying about 'revolutionary' blood testing technology.

While her premise may be true about where our brains "go", the real reason it was mostly men who invested in this company is because it is mostly men who are the venture capitalists. Like it or not, the ones who take the risks tend to be the ones who accumulate lots o' cash. Men do that more than women. Because biology.

I get a strong tranny vibe off "her". Have you heard the voice? I think everything about "her" is a fraud, including what's between the legs.

Post #1 hits the nail on the head. I work with a lot of women clients and they are into "safe" investments. There may be women at large companies (owners, execs), but you never read about them taking their money and risking it on a SpaceX or such venture. There are women with oil and gas money, but they are not into exploration or "wildcatting."

So maybe this supposed professor at a med school should stop with the snark and think about the subject of Prostate Cancer? I can't blame men for wanting to help fund a test for catching that killer disease. At least with lady parts cancer, the ladies aren't rendered impotent, unlike the men. So knock off with the snark professor, and stick to what this woman scammed.

The media preoccupation with promoting their 'Progressive' narrative had more to do with the success Holmes enjoyed before the fraud was outed, than the groins of men who are in the stage of life where their libido is in free-fall (along with their declining testosterone levels). This article, itself, (and the way it blames stereotypical male nature) is also a part of the media's pathologically-Progressive bent.

CHICAGO (AP) — A Chicago White Sox employee of the month got to throw out a first pitch. And, to put it mildly, she was just a little bit off target. The rookie right-hander uncorked one of the most wayward first pitches ever when she plunked a team photographer standing close by, between the mound and first base line prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Kansas City Royals. The ball went right off Darren Georgia’s lens, nowhere near the plate.

The last few days have been a clear example of why Sen. Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign is wobbling. Let’s begin with the former district attorney’s visit to her home ground for the 75th anniversary celebration of the Sun Reporter, the town’s African American newspaper. Harris worked the pre-party crowd with charm, sharing jokes and memories with everyone she came across. But when she took the stage, we got a 30-minute lecture on the importance of the First Amendment. An inspiring subject, but she went on way too long and without any reference to where she was or who was in the room. She might as well have been in New Hampshire.

President Donald Trump denied that the U.S. paid North Korea $2 million for Otto Warmbier´s medical care after reports emerged Thursday that the regime forced U.S. officials to sign a pledge to do so. "No money was paid to North Korea for Otto Warmbier, not two Million Dollars, not anything else," the president tweeted. Warmbier, an American college student detained by North Korea for allegedly stealing a propaganda poster, died six days after he was freed by North Korea and handed over to U.S. officials in June 2017.

NEW YORK — If New York is a city of dreams, Anna Sorokin had plenty of them. Sorokin, a Russian immigrant from a middle-class family, longed to be a member of the upper echelon of Manhattan society. She elbowed her way into the city’s bustling social scene and tried to raise money to open a members-only arts club on Park Avenue South. To friends and those wanting to do business with her, there was no reason to believe she was not who she said she was — a wealthy German heiress with a taste for the high life.

The one-minute-long experiment prompted excited internet users to share footage of the inquisitive chimpanzee. JD Durkin from Queens, New York, who posted the footage expressed his concern over the prospect of technologically advanced apes.

In a handful of fossilized teeth and bones, scientists say they’ve found evidence of a previously unknown human species that lived in what is now the Philippines about 50,000 years ago. The discovery deepens the mystery of an era when the world was a melting pot of many different human kinds on the move. Small-jawed with dainty teeth, able to walk upright but with feet still shaped to climb, these island creatures were a mix-and-match patchwork of primitive and advanced features in a unique variation of the human form, the scientists reported Wednesday in the journal Nature.

Let’s be clear about a few things regarding “carbon taxes”. First, the system of taxing carbon emissions, also known as “cap-n-trade”, has absolutely nothing to do with climate change. Second a “carbon tax” is the holy grail for the totalitarian globalist world view. The concept of a tax on carbon emissions was developed inside the same financial network of multinational monetary interests that control the current global trade system. Powerful financial interests directly connected to The World Bank (WB), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Trade Organization (WTO), together with global banking interests connected to Wall Street and
