In his news conference Wednesday, special counsel Robert Mueller explained why he wouldn’t testify before Congress. “Any testimony from this office would not go beyond our report,” he said, adding: “The report is my testimony.” This is precisely why Mueller shouldn’t have held a news conference. President Trump’s critics are now picking apart his statement. Like with a verbal Rorschach test, they are reading between the lines to find what they want to find.
For example, in his report Mueller definitively declared his investigation “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government.” But in his news conference, Mueller said that “there was insufficient

FTA: “All Mueller’s news conference did is muddy the waters. Any congressional testimony would do so 10 times over. He should have heeded his own advice, left the building quietly, and, as he put it in his statement, let “the office’s written work speak for itself.”
I believe that Mueller’s testimony before a Congressional Committee might just clarify exactly what Mueller knew and when he knew it. If the dems are so very confident that Mueller’s investigation was on the up and up, allow Republicans to question him about these pertinent facts and others. While I loathe to go down the path of further hearings, clearly the duplicitous dems are eager to do so. Well then let’s get Mueller subpoenaed and see what he has to say.

"All Mueller’s news conference did is muddy the waters."
Which is EXACTLY what he wanted to do. He failed in his witch hunt but since he is a vile, incompetent, and spiteful person he couldn't let it go at the correct "criminal investigation" result, there is no case to be made for collusion OR obstruction.
Instead, Mueller effectively threw a tantrum, reached into his diapers and threw around what he had done. Such babies make a big stinky mess.
Mueller was upset with Barr's summary. It brought the neat, correct criminal investigation conclusion, nothing was found. But Mueller wanted to make a mess so he held the press conference.

Mueller was obviously uncomfortable at his PC. I don’t think he personally wrote the report, and knew that the ‘not exonerate’ was going to keep the impeachment fires burning. He just wanted a quick getaway from the issue. I lost any respect that I had for him.

All we need now is to find out that the corrupt and compromised Bob Mueller (and his thoroughly evil “pit bull” sidekick and puppet master Andrew Weissmann) granted immunity to their long-time buddy, soul{less} brother and co-conspirator Jim Comey — just as Comey himself secretly, unlawfully and disgracefully immunized Crooked Hillary Clinton and so many of her criminal henchmen and henchwomyn.

Herr Mueller, we have a few questions we'd like to ask such as when did you conclude there was no collusion by the Trump campaign and that there WAS collusion by Billary and her campaign? Secondly, is it true that AG Barr gave you a real nice smack down on Wednesday evening after your nine-minute political rant for which you should be dis-barred?

He muddied the waters INTENTIONALLY. If it wasn't intentional, his OFFICE would've simply issued a statement.

Mueller exposed himself and his motives (in case there was someone
somewhere who hadn’t figured it out). His nonsensical proclamation
about not being able to find evidence proving Trump innocent was
Comey-esque was just stupid. His refusal to questions proved he
himself is just a common political hack.

FTA: ''Any testimony from this office would not go beyond our report,''
That may apply to any statements he cared to make, but not to questions from Republicans. We know that the democrats would serve up softball questions, but there are some Republicans with very, very hard questions that Mueller (or the democrats) don't want answered.
Don't wait for Nadler to subpoena Mueller. Republicans in the Senate must do it!

How much did Mueller get paid to run his mouth for 9 minutes? it was all staged. Mueller is just a player. We need to know who all is behind this charade directing it.

"Staged" indeed!
It's time for America to call a halt to this badly staged farce!
The only "collusion" is from Obama and the Hildebeast!
Lock them up!

Agree w/ #8. His voice had a quiver and was a octave or two high - as if something was being squeezed. I expected a booming commanding presence but he seemed a tad nervous and rushed. Then scurried out of the room - never to be seen again.
