We ate lunch at a Chick-fil-A today. When we entered the restaurant, the first thing we saw was an empty table that was set up to honor fallen military personnel over the Memorial Day weekend. There was a red rose, a folded flag, an inverted glass and an open Bible, along with text explaining the elements of the display. Well to be fair, John, liberals hate everything and everyone that is not one of 'them'. They are the party of hate. They are the worst racists, mysoginists, and Jew-bashers you will ever encounter. They are rude, crude, intolerant bigots who have no problem accusing you of violence while they are beating your head in with a bat. If businesses like Chick-fil-A did not exist, they would simply turn on some other perceived enemy. You see, hate cannot survive unless it has someone or something to be hateful at. Unlike Love, which is universal, hate is petty and bigoted. But without hate, liberals would be forced to be truthful about their beliefs, something they dare not attempt.

#1, very well done. I do take issue, though, with your statement that love is universal and hate is not. The state of fallen man and woman is not one of love. The reason that there is so much hate is that the heart of humankind is darkened by the Fall. It is the default state. There is only one way to make the default state love and that is through Christ. It’s not something we can do without divine grace.

The BIGGEST THING that seems to get lost whenever the name "Chick-fil-A" is put in a news story is that they DO NOT discriminate--they just serve chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. If they were hateful and disrespectful while doing it, they would be finished. What they do with the money from their foundation is THEIR business. The causes they support with those donations is THEIR business. If the homosexuals don't want to eat there, FINE--they can go to pro-homosexual Burger King. One of the bedrock pillars and foundations of our Constitutional Republic is that just because someone believes one way, that does not mean that someone else has to agree with it-- there are STILL many who LIKE the Chick-fil-A sandwich, so let them enjoy them..... especially with fresh-squeezed lemonade!!!

Great tasting fast food, healthy, friendly staff, and committed to Christian values and community activities that advance the overall quality of life. Chick-fil-A seems to hit all of the hate-centered hot buttons of the liberals. I'm glad the left-wingers avoid the place. The popularity of their product results in long lines at lunchtime, so by having liberal boycot, it just keeps the line moving faster.

For years I never ate at Chick-Fil-A because chicken sandwiches just didn't sound all that good but I always loved their commercials of cows telling us to eat more chicken. One day my cousin told me how good their milkshakes were and not long after that my neighbors told me how delicious their food was so I decided to give them a try. Wow, now I know why there is always a long line of cars at the drive in window. The fact that they are a Christian owned company and don't buy into the pro gay, pro transgender, anti religious beliefs of progressives is why they must be hated and destroyed. Independent thought that isn't approved by the ever tolerant left must censored and discriminated against and now is by the social media giants.

A neighboring town has a big controversy. Chick-Fil-A wants to build on a busy corner. People are fighting it using 'more traffic' as an excuse. I wonder if these same people would complain if a mosque was built there.

I remember going to Chick-fil-A back in the 70’s when it first appeared near a local mall. But I never saw the constant lines of customers that we now see daily until the homosexual boycott a few years ago. People who had never eaten there before went to support the company the day of the boycott and discovered that the food was awesome and the service super friendly. And they have been going back ever since. Way to go, leftist haters!

The underlying cause for liberal hatred and discontent is because life without God is empty and meaningless. They do not want to burn in hell but also are unwilling to do what it takes to avoid it, i.e. be decent human beings.

To build a little bit more on #1's comments - without hate, the left would also be forced to be accountable for the decisions it makes. For example, why are liberal women Ok with abortion? Simple. The law was decided and passed by others for them. That means abortion must be Ok. Not their fault that they had to get an abortion.

I wish there were a Chick-fil-A up here where I live in NY - can you imagine? Cuomo & the state dems would have fits! (would be fun to watch tho!) Isn't there something in the Commerce Laws to protect CfA from being thrown out of airport concourses & off college campuses? (ALL publicly funded locations by the way)

I remember when Chick-fil-A first came to the Nashville area. When nephews came to visit from California, that is the first place we stopped. Airports in Buffalo, NY and San Antonio Texas do not DESERVE to have Chick-fil-A restaurants. They can't handle the crowds they have already. What WOULD they do with even more business. Avoid San Antonio and go to Austin, instead.

I once got a 'Chic-Fil-A' 2 piece chicken lunch...I took one bite and tossed it out the window of my truck. Later I realized to NOT get the Vinegar Chicken but the Grilled Chicken... This has nothing to do with their Religious stand which I agree with, it was the fact I didn't know they had several types of 'flavors'...

Washington-The Supreme Court said Tuesday that a provision of an Indiana law which said the state may prohibit abortions motivated solely by race, sex or disability should remain blocked. The court, however, did say it would allow part of the law that requires clinics to bury or cremate fetal remains to take effect. It is tempting for normal people to ignore our president when he starts ranting about treason and corruption at the FBI. I understand the temptation. I’m the object of many of his rants, and even I try to ignore him. But we shouldn’t, because millions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. We must call out his lies that the FBI was corrupt and committed treason, that we spied on the Trump campaign and tried to defeat Donald Trump.
