Trans Tyranny: The Nefariousness of Trans Ideology

Dan Zadra once wrote, “worry is a misuse of the imagination.” In January of this year, after coming across a particularly worrying piece in the Atlantic, I misused my imagination. Sorry, Mr. Zadra. Titled “Young Trans Children Know Who They Are,” the piece focused on transgender children — those of whom identify as a different gender from the one they were assigned at birth. Ed Yang, the author of the piece, argues that, from an early age, children already have a strong sense of identity. He contends that some children as young as three already have a strong sense of their identity. If a three-year-old boy tells his parents

This is a particularly dark cultural trend. When I read of a parent allowing and even agreeing with a 3 year old claiming to be another gender, I see that as child abuse. And that there are surgeons willing to mutilate these children is appalling. Since a lot of this is being taught in schools, I advise everyone who has the ability to take their kids out of the government schools which sow this confusion and evil. Where is Betsy DeVos? Clean up the curriculum!

Just the other day in the grocery store, I heard a three year old boy riding in the shopping cart say, "Mommy, I identify as transgender." NOT. Three year olds say a lot of fantastic things ("Mommy, I see a dragon coming out of your ear") but that's not one of them. And if were, it certainly wouldn't make it true. It's adults and parents that are inventing "transgendered" children, not the children themselves. And it's child abuse when they do.

Boy, there is really some high quality parenting going on out there. Most of these kids will end up complete basket cases by the time they make it to high school and probably will never be functional adults.

These days, among millennials and gen-Xer’s, it’s tres chic to either be a tranny or have a tranny child. Twenty years from now they will be drowning in massive amounts of heartbreak, depression, suicide and psychiatric fees. Like #2, I was a childhood Tom boy who spent my days climbing trees, building underground forts and playing in the mud of a nearby bayou. Then puberty kicked in and I discovered that boys were much more than just pals to dig in the dirt with. Absolutely, leave the kids alone.

A sneaky way of population control - fully transgendered can't procreate. It's a sick world we live in & I'm left to wonder yet again: is our drinking water compromised? Has the government, with it's many competing agencies not joined together yet to find the way to removing medical residue from our water ... that's all the prescription drugs being discarded in the commode and those that passed through our kidneys.

Anyone remember the McMartin case? This seems to be somewhat like that or Munchausen by Proxy. The adults in these situations are driving the narrative whether they realize it or not. Some, I believe, enjoy the notoriety from like minded individuals and enjoy playing the victim. This is all driven by adults who are the one with mental disorders. These kids are doing what they believe pleases their parents. Kids pick up stuff like that easily and act accordingly. The attention they receive becomes almost addictive and both the child and parent feed off each other. Add to the mix affirmation from progressives and celebrities and you have created a trend or phenomenon. It is unfortunate that someone close to them won’t have a serious talk with them about the repercussions of such a life changing decision so early in a child’s life. However, if a parent would even consider allowing a child to make such a decision they are most likely too far gone to listen to reason. The victims in this are the children but we likely won’t see that until they are adults. I agree, this is a type of child abuse and the parents are the ones who need counseling.

"Like Germaine Greer, Linda Bellos, Sheila Jeffreys, and Camille Paglia, I am critical of trans ideology. I take issue with the fact that so many people have been swept up in this transgender wave. The dangers of trying to treat mental ill-health by transitioning from one sex to another cannot be overstated. When every ounce of unhappiness is consolidated into the gender issue, society enters dangerous territory. These are not the words of a bigot or a transphobe. These are the words of someone critically questioning a particularly nefarious cultural trend." Clearer?

Young children are so easily influenced. I knew a reading specialist in the NYC schools who, on visiting classrooms, would ask the children how many of them had seen her on t.v. the night before. Of course all of them had seen her - and they all said she looked beautiful, too. I'm waiting for the intersectionalists to accuse the Trans folk of gender appropriation. That of course would be a huge no-no. Don't know why our leading Conservative speakers haven't seized on that yet. And Poster#11, you have the sympathy of us all. Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.
