Jerry Nadler’s cynical, cowardly show

Original Article

Posted By: MissMolly, 5/22/2019 3:57:46 AM

Jerry Nadler was at it again Tuesday, waxing indignant about former White House counsel Don McGahn’s refusal to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras. Then again, that’s all

It's all about the cameras, of course.

Say what you will about Nancy Pelosi, she’s smart enough to know that Trump is playing Democrats like a fiddle. I think Trump is daring the DIMS to start impeachment proceedings, because it’s a win for him. They have nothing on him and he’ll make them look like fools. Obama was the one who deserved to be impeached and convicted over the Iran deal, but with the media on his side, it wouldn’t have flown. So if the hot heads in the DIM party get their way, it’s all over for them. As Dirty Harry said, “Go ahead punk...make my day!”

Nadler is such a pompous ass. He represents 1/435th of the US population or about 750,000 people in the New York 10th district. He got 173,000 votes in the 2018 election or about 23% of his district. That works out to about 2.3% of the US population that put this noxiuos, fat windbag into a position of legislative power which he has no idea how to get anything of importance accomplished.

It will be very funny when some young Democrat socialist in the mold of Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez-Cortez takes Jerry Nadler’s Congressional seat in a future election. As time goes by there is little doubt that is going to happen to a lot of the old line White liberal Democrats, as the Democrat Party continues its move leftward in accordance with their ethnic, gender, and racially based identity politics schemes.

If you can believe it, old Jerry used to be even FATTER! He underwent banding surgery for his stomach and lost about 80 pounds. Most of that was probably brains. We all know this is Kabuki theater and meant to turn Trump's supporters. It is nothing more than harassment and Nadler, Pelosi, Schumer, et. al. are in on it. Congress doesn't get to micro-manage the President or his staff and the POTUS does not report to Congress. A real media would say that! Imagine this being done to Obama?

Thanks, #5. Nadler is SO sloppy-looking I suspect it may be a schtick. His old belt is something you might use as a strap to bundle firewood. His old shoes have been resoled with thick rubber. His pants are far too big and his tie is so badly tied it’s cartoonish. How did such a fat schlub get elected to congress in the first place? Could be the pity vote. We have a do-nothing congress, both Senate and House. Instead of legislating, which is their primary function, they posture. As a taxpayer, I am sick of paying these clowns my hard-earned money to do nothing but pontificate and work for their re-election. When will the American people wake up and realize they are being taken for an expensive ride by the bozos they continually send back to the Congress? Over the weekend, Australians reelected their conservative government against all expectations. The race, like many that have taken place in the United States in the last 20 years, illustrated that voters’ very real concern for the environment doesn’t translate to support for environmentalists. Yes, everyone wants a clean environment. But that doesn’t mean they will accept the crazed policies of today’s green Left, which views the planet’s supposedly imminent demise as a good excuse to impose socialism. Australia’s Labor Party campaigned heavily on higher taxes and cuts to greenhouse emissions. Their program was typical of such a platform, involving higher energy prices, huge subsidies for unproven

Prince George’s County, Maryland, has been in the news of late because two male illegal aliens with reported ties to MS-13, along with a female companion, were arrested for the brutal, bloody, horrific murder of a 14-year-old girl — a murder that investigators say began in the woods with a baseball bat and finished with the final strokes of a machete. Prince George’s County is a sanctuary. And the two male suspects, Josue Rafael Fuentes-Ponce, 16, and Joel Ernesto Escobar, 17, illegal immigrants both, were coincidentally released from Prince George’s County custody last year — a custody that was due to their arrests for attempted murder charges. He contends that some children as young as three already have a strong sense of their identity. If a three-year-old boy tells his parents

If there’s anyone left in America who actually believes Democratic Party leaders are interested in constructive dialogue with President Trump on substantive policy issues like infrastructure, I have a Russian conspiracy theory to sell them. When Trump cut short a meeting Wednesday with Democratic leaders on a potential infrastructure deal, liberals and their media allies had found their ginned-up outrage of the week. An allegedly irate House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that she and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer had come to the White House in the “spirit of bipartisanship,” only to be rebuffed. This, only hours after Pelosi had accused the president of engaging in a criminal “coverup.”
