A Rising Tide of Anti-Semitism

The Times published an appalling political cartoon in the opinion pages of its international print edition late last week. It portrayed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel as a dog wearing a Star of David on a collar. He was leading President Trump, drawn as a blind man wearing a skullcap. The cartoon was chosen from a syndication service by a production editor who did not recognize its anti-Semitism. Yet however it came to be published, the appearance of such an obviously bigoted cartoon in a mainstream publication is evidence of a profound danger — not only of anti-Semitism

Trump´s fault, of course. It always gets back to Trump. Julius Streicher would fit in well with the editorial staff of the NYT.

"A production editor". Kicking the can as far down as they can, not realizing that their general editorial policies encouraged the selection of this cartoon.

The anti-semitism tide is rising because the New York Times is like an anti-semitic water park with its own giant tide-generating machine. Its subscribers like to come there for the ride.

A breathtaking non-apology. THEY published the cartoon and waffled in apologizing for it. THEY are the ones that exhibit blindness to anti Semitism. THEY are responsible.
And yet, they try to attack Trump, who has been described as one of Israel´s greatest supporters as president.
Only morons would believe this self serving screed. Maybe only morons are fit to read the Slimes.

The only "rising tide" is in the NYT´s own bath tub.

This is like a teenager coming in at 12:10, 12:20, 12:30, 12:40, 12:50, 1:00. When called out they claim the clock in their car has been off since the time change, or that their friend´s watch was broken.
The anti-semitism at the NYT is systemic and intentional, and they had hoped it would go unnoticed by the opposition.

A cartoon modeled after one from Nazi Germany, which of course the Times supported in that time. The Times should be put out of business. I laud the efforts of Professor Dershowitz yesterday in front of the NYT HQ - the truth has to come from the masses not the MSM.

Don´t blame The Slimes!
The cleaning lady brought her six-year-old daughter to work - - and the daughter picked the cartoon because she liked the colors.
Nothing evil going on here. Not at all.

This tide has been rising for at least three thousand years. One day soon, the entire Middle East will attack Israel and, as the Bible tells us, they will have the last laugh.

FTA, "The cartoon was chosen from a syndication service by a production editor who did not recognize its anti-Semitism."
The political cartoon is also very anti-Trump. Perhaps, the production editor had such a raging case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that in his zeal to print something derogatory about Trump, he did not realize it was also anti-Semitic.
Again, the NYT proves its masthead should be, "All the Garbage That Is Unfit to Print."

By the way, no one who knows anything about newspapers believes a person styled a "production" editor -- the implication being that this is kind of a modern version of a lynotype operator -- decides which cartoons will go in a newspaper. This was an EDITORIAL judgment. The Times is lying.

I could have saved them editorial space: “We published a grossly anti-Semitic cartoon. We famously have layers and layers of fact-checkers and editors, so we cannot call it an ‘accident’, but it should not have happened. It’s Trump’s fault.”
Sad thing is, judging from the reader responses, the Times’ readership is as gullible as the editors think it is. They do something horrible, it’s because #OrangeManBad

Marx, a Jew by birth, became an atheist and hated Jews and capitalism equally. The NYT LOVES Marx and supports Marxism as well as Hitler before and during WW2. Both Hitler and Marx were haters of capitalism and Judaism and both wrote extensively about each (something denied by most college history professors). The NYT hasn´t changed its stripes. Hating God has to be directed somewhere and the NYT finds that target every day. No surprise and their mea culpa is nothing but a financial decision, just like the NFL´s.
