Communist Insurrectionists Take Over Minneapolis

Original Article

Well, not all of Minneapolis. But a portion of South Minneapolis. The miscreants are a combination of Antifa thugs and woolly-headed Minnesota liberals, all playing at being Communist revolutionaries. To the barricades! And they have, indeed, erected barricades of a sort. Videojournalist Rebecca Brannon is on the scene: More here. Police apparently have withdrawn from the area, turning that portion of the city over to the insurrectionists. As far as I have seen, neither Tim Walz, nor Jacob Frey, nor any other member of the Democratic Party has criticized, let alone condemned, this lawlessness.

There is a passage in the Bible that says… when sentence against an evil deed is not carried out quickly, the hearts of men are turned toward that. We let the evil deeds done by these protesters in Minneapolis go unchecked to our own peril!

I have never had a reason to go to Minnesota other than to pass through, and now its on my list of no-go states. Any state government that is hostile to its own citizens in favor of its criminals is not a place I need to be.

Minneapolis police have been less than useless. I guess nobody wants to risk being the next Derek Chauvin.

In the late 1980's to mid 1990's, I used to go to Minneapolis for training. It was a nice, relatively safe place, with really decent people. Glad I went there when I did. Last time I went through Minneapo k is airport, I thought I was in Mogadishu and finding someone who spoke decent English was a real test.

#4 explains why it was so essential to persecute and falsely incriminate Derek Chauvin. Not only did they jail and destroy him, they also caponized the rest of the MPLS police force; which served a critical long-range goal. We're seeing it play out now.

Under the leadership of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan "Razin'" Caine, the United States is once again blazing new paths in its efforts to unite Western Hemisphere countries in combatting the drug trafficking in the region. As the U.S. military continues its campaign targeting alleged drug cartel boats, Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is convening a rare meeting of all of the top military leaders from the 34 countries in the Western Hemisphere. This will be the first time that such a meeting has been convened and appears

It seems long past time for President Donald Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act. In the chaos and violence following the death of an armed Minneapolis would-be terrorist shot while fighting Border Patrol, another protester has bitten off the finger of a federal officer. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin posted photos on X showing the loathsome protestors who so viciously assaulted federal officers, and also photos of the one officer’s wounded hand and the severed finger. What absolute scum these protestors and the politicians who encourage them are.

A statement from the Department of Homeland Security says the armed man who was shot and killed in Minneapolis “wanted to…massacre law enforcement.” The DHS said the armed man “approached US Border Patrol Officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.” The statement continued: The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. More details on the armed struggle are forthcoming. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but [he] was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID

China's defence ministry says it has opened an investigation into the country's highest-ranking general over "grave violations of discipline and the law". The ministry gave no further details about accusations against General Zhang Youxia, who has widely been seen as President Xi Jinping's closest military ally. However in China the accusation of wrongdoing is usually a euphemism for corruption. In its announcement, the ministry said another senior military officer, General Liu Zhenli, was also under investigation. Their removal follows the expulsion of nine top generals in October

The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now."

A federal agent shot and killed a man who was brandishing a gun while officers in Minneapolis were attempting to arrest an illegal criminal Saturday morning, the Department of Homeland Security said. The incident, which was captured on video, drew an immediate crowd of rowdy protesters, prompting law enforcement to fire multiple rounds of tear gas in an effort to disperse them. Rioters were seen hurling trash cans at an armored vehicle and chanting at armed federal officers in the aftermath of the incident.

With one full week to go before current funding expires on several federal agencies, the House has passed the last of its FY2026 budget appropriations. Now the two consolidated bills come to the Senate, and Chuck Schumer has some choices to make. Will he lead Senate Democrats into another shutdown ... or stand down and let the moment pass quietly? House Democrats made the latter more likely yesterday. Enough of them crossed the aisle to pass the bill containing the appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security, while the other consolidated bill sailed to passage: The House passed funding

Murders plummeted more than 20% in 2025 from the year before, the single-largest one-year drop on record — and it might be the lowest murder rate in the U.S. since 1900, a study released Thursday by the Council on Criminal Justice found. The annual crime trends report analyzed data from 40 large cities across the United States for 13 different crime types, including murder, carjacking, theft and drug offenses. Alongside homicides, which dropped 21% from 2024, carjackings have declined 61% since 2023, while shoplifting is down 10% since 2024. In general, the overall crime rate declined

The United States will be able to buy sovereign base areas in Greenland that will become legal U.S. territory “forever” under the terms of a NATO-brokered deal at Davos, reports claim. A “framework” for a future deal negotiated in meetings at the Davos summit in Switzerland this week will see the United States get a sovereign base area modelled on Britain’s military bases on the Island of Cyprus, it is stated. While those bases are not on the British mainland, the UK owns approximately three per cent of the island in two exclaves, which are legally and internationally recognised as an overseas British territory.

Things have never really settled down in Minneapolis where activists have been following ICE agents for weeks. However, things seemed to be getting a little more chaotic today, leading to several scuffles. It started with confrontations at a Speedway gas station where a group of agents had stopped for some snacks. [Some NSFW language in the clips below.] Activists who had been following them swarmed the gas station: Bovino apparently had to leave the store. Someone who works at the Speedway came out and said the store would not serve ICE agents and told them to leave.

As millions of people braced for a massive winter storm to hit two-thirds of the country, grocery store shelves in the South, Midwest and Northeast started to look a little bare. Two essentials everyone seems to stock up on ahead of winter weather, bread and milk, were hit especially hard. But why do people gravitate to those two items in particular? Milk could go bad if you lose power, after all, and bread isn’t exactly a strong source of nutrition. Accuweather reports the idea of buying milk and bread before a winter storm dates back to the Great Blizzard of 1978, which hit New England.

When Renee Good drove her car into an ICE agent earlier this month, the left tried to gaslight us into believing she was just some innocent bystander who was just at the wrong place, that she’d just dropped her son off at school and wasn’t supposed to be there. That narrative fell apart fast. Good, we soon learned, was a trained anti-ICE agitator who was absolutely there to obstruct law enforcement. Now we're watching the same playbook unfold with 37-year-old Alex Pretti, the armed agitator shot dead by Border Patrol agents on Saturday in Minneapolis while confronting agents. The talking points are already circulating.

This is good news, because someone who wishes grave harm on political opponents should not be treating mothers and babies. There is a difference that not even all conservatives understand between free speech and explicitly wishing harm or terror on someone. Even the Founders were in agreement that calling for someone’s death or crippling injury is not, in fact, First Amendment-protected speech. And in the case of a nurse, this is particularly relevant if she fantasizes about medical catastrophe

Rather than play statesman on the world stage, Gavin Newsom brought his troll act to Davos — and it bombed. Trump is alienating our allies through his boorish rhetoric, Democrats routinely scream. Yet Newsom opted to be at least as boorish, slamming foreign leaders for being too polite to Trump — in the crudest language possible: “I can’t take this complicity, people rolling over. I should have brought a bunch of kneepads for all the world leaders.” Newsom has used the sexually-suggestive and degrading “kneepads” line before, bashing Republicans who defer to the prez. Used it because it works . . . among partisan Democrats.
