New Jersey Rep. Donald Norcross is facing an extended hospitalization following a serious medical emergency, his office announced. The Democrat, who represents the state’s 1st District, is currently in intensive care at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Norcross, 66, suffered a medical event earlier this month while traveling in North Carolina. “Norcross was on a flight to New Jersey from Florida last weekend when he began to feel unwell, and the plane was diverted to North Carolina so that the 66-year-old congressman could be hospitalized,” the New Jersey Globe reported.

Actually, the seat held by SJL was filled by a former mayor of Houston, who also passed away last month. Congresscritters die and are in in rehab/health conditions all the time. Seems only a problem when a Democrat is involved. That being said, prayers for the recouperation and good health for the Congresscritter.

The other vacant Dem seat was held by Raul Grijalva. He died about a month ago. Dems have several others age 80+ including Mad Max Waters, Pelosi, and Clyburn.

I'm ok with this. Since so many refuse to retire and enjoy the fruits of their corruption, its better that they die in office never having really relaxed. I still maintain that this is why we haven't been allowed to conquer death. Sometimes it is the only way to get people to go away.

Leftists will surely be triggered by the latest announcement by President Donald Trump that he is bringing back a cherished American holiday, which they have tried to disparage and replace with a "woke" version in recent years. As I wrote about a couple of weeks ago, Michiganian Congressman John James is seeking the Republican nomination to run for governor in November of 2026. He announced this decision a couple of weeks back and has been lining up endorsements and touring the state.James sat down with the Detroit News to answer some questions about what he would like to do as governor, and also what Donald Trump will announce this Tuesday when he is in Michigan. Of course, the question that was asked was something I mentioned could happen in an article a couple of weeks ago, when James first announced he was running.

Would that be a priority if Democrats were to take back Congress?”

Republican senators Rand Paul, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski all voted in support of removing President Trump’s ability to impose tariffs under national security grounds. However, the overall vote failed in the Senate 49-49. The vote was mostly symbolic for the upper chamber as the House previously approved a rule to block any effort to restrict President Trump’s trade authority, and the White House would obviously veto any bill that might pass. However, the vote does showcase the Republicans who are in support of multinational corporations outsourcing jobs and manufacturing. The bill was originally created by Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democrat Senator Ron Wyden.
