A high-ranking official at the U.S. State Department has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $650,000 in taxpayer money — and the media is barely covering it.
Levita Almuete Ferrer, 64, of Montgomery Village, Maryland — also known by her alias Levita Brezovic — admitted in federal court today to looting $657,347.50 from the State Department over a two-year span while working as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Office of the Chief of Protocol.
According to the DOJ, Ferrer wielded her signature authority like a blank checkbook, issuing 63 fraudulent checks between March 2022 and April 2024 — 60 to herself,

Former vice presidential nominee Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., continued a self-described “listening tour” across the country at a Harvard Kennedy School forum on Monday night, ruling out a 2028 presidential bid and revealing why former Vice President Kamala Harris chose him as her running mate.
Walz said Harris chose him, in part, because, “I could code talk to White guys watching football, fixing their truck” and “put them at ease.” The Minnesota governor described himself as the “permission structure” for White men from rural America to vote for Democrats.

It seems Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Jordon Hudson’s controversial actions have led to a costly setback for the North Carolina Tar Heels football program.
Despite being praised by Colin Cowherd as 73-year-old Belichick's "PR director" following a questionable CBS News Sunday Morning interview, Hudson’s behavior has had far-reaching consequences. The 24-year-old played a key role in derailing the Tar Heels' opportunity to feature in the popular NFL docuseries Hard Knocks.

Influencer Valentina Gomez probably won’t be asked to attend next year’s Texas Muslim Capitol Day.
On Tuesday, Raw Story reported that Gomez attended this year’s event, and she posted footage to social media platform X of herself taking to the podium while ripping of a hijab and addressing a crowd of Muslims.
Gomez included the caption, “Islam has no place in Texas. Help me to Congress so we can end the Islamization of America. I only fear God.” Speaking into the microphone, Gomez unleashed on the crowd, telling them that “Islam is the religion of rape, incest, and pedophilia where they bow down to a stupid rock and a false prophet.”

Pope Francis, Bishop of Rome, and head of the Roman Catholic Church died Easter Monday morning and his funeral was attended by thousands of mourners and a few faux Catholics like the Bidens and Nancy Pelosi.
Almost immediately after his death was announced, the media was swarmed with responses from Hollywood stars and other celebrities expressing their sympathy for the passing of this ‘beloved’ pontiff. Many other Catholics, conservative and fundamentalist, more likely silently thought, Ding, Dong, the pope is dead.” I, myself, do not believe that Pope Francis was an evil man,

During an interview with Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul on Tuesday, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) responded to a question on whether he would support actions like those taken in the case of Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan by stating that while he doesn’t know all of the details of the Dugan case, “they’re not illegal aliens. They are our neighbors. We care about them. We love them.”
Host Amy Hockert asked, “A lot of people read in the headlines in the last couple of weeks, the last week or so, this judge in Wisconsin who was arrested and then charged with obstructing an immigration operation at a courthouse. Would you

American taxpayers must continue funding attorneys for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) facing deportation, United States District Judge Araceli Martinez Olguin has ruled.
Olguin, born in Mexico City, Mexico, and appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, has issued a nationwide injunction blocking President Donald Trump from ending taxpayer funds being used to pay for lawyers for UACs.
The Trump administration had sought to get Olguin thrown off the case, revealing that she once worked as a managing attorney for one of the lead plaintiffs in the case, Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto.
Attorneys for the Trump administration said Olguin’s handling of the case presents an

Republican senators Rand Paul, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski all voted in support of removing President Trump’s ability to impose tariffs under national security grounds. However, the overall vote failed in the Senate 49-49. The vote was mostly symbolic for the upper chamber as the House previously approved a rule to block any effort to restrict President Trump’s trade authority, and the White House would obviously veto any bill that might pass. However, the vote does showcase the Republicans who are in support of multinational corporations outsourcing jobs and manufacturing. The bill was originally created by Republican Senator Rand Paul and Democrat Senator Ron Wyden.

If you’re of a certain age, you remember how president Gerald Ford became the butt of national jokes for falling on a staircase. During a trip to Austria, Ford got to the bottom of the stairs exiting the airplane and tripped, falling down the last few steps. Everyone from Saturday Night Live on down to local bar comics mocked him for looking like a slapstick character out of a silent picture.
Had that been Joe Biden (and it was, during Biden’s presidency), and had the year been 2020-2024, there would have been no joking in the national press or entertainment outlets. Even noticing that Biden fell

On Wednesday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “On Balance,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) argued that President Donald Trump “continued to close the border,” after President Joe Biden “used his extraordinary powers, emergency powers to close down the border and the drop in border crossings started with President Biden, dramatically.”
Host Leland Vittert said that during NewsNation’s town hall earlier in the evening, “the border almost didn’t come up because it is something that Donald Trump has solved that Joe Biden said he couldn’t do without legislation, Donald Trump did. Has that been a place that the Democrats are facing some real weakness and vulnerability?”

As you know, it’s very difficult to be a minority in the modern United States of America. The U.S. is widely known for being among the most hostile countries in the world for anyone who is not white, for gay people, for trans people, for religious minorities, and for all women.
Except it’s not because that’s the opposite of the truth.
It is breathtaking how American citizens who enjoy the highest standard of living and the most legal freedom in the world believe they are living in an oppressive authoritarian regime. And they really do seem to believe it. Modern feminists get dolled up in Handmaid’s Tale costumes to protest the

Former President Biden and Jill Biden are sitting down for their first interview together since leaving the White House, appearing next week on “The View.”
The couple is poised to join the ABC daytime talk show next Thursday to “discuss life after [Biden’s] presidency, his legacy, Democrats’ election losses, and the current political landscape,” the network said in a Thursday statement.
Biden has been slowly stepping back into the spotlight since exiting the White House following former Vice President Kamala Harris’s loss to President Trump in November.
Last month, Biden delivered his first public address after leaving office at a conference in Chicago.
