On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” incoming Border Czar Tom Homan stated that he agrees with Denver Mayor Mike Johnston because “He’s willing to go to jail, I’m willing to put him in jail.” And that sanctuary jurisdictions are violating the law.
Host Sean Hannity asked, “Tom, you heard this Mayor out there in Colorado. I want to get your reaction to it, and I want you to be clear about who has jurisdiction, the federal government or state and local governments, and if you’re a sanctuary state or city, are you breaking the law?”

"La loi, c'est moi" doesn't apply to mayors.

If only. Never in my lifetime has a Democrat, liberal, progressive, fascist been held accountable for their illegal activities. This is might bold talk for a one eyed fat man. I'll believe it when I see it. Until then, words are like a Kneepad Media political story. Worthless!

Go to jail!
Go directly to jail!
Don’t pass Go!
And don’t collect $200.00!

President George Washington marched troops to Pennsylvania to enforce the federal excise tax on whiskey to put down the Whiskey Rebellion. This sanctuary city nonsense is a direct parallel. The city/state has no power to disregard federal law that is in place to provide a legal means of immigration into the United States. It would be interesting to see if the Trump administration would be willing to dust off this long established precedent.

We will be starting with the murders and rapists and violent criminals. If anybody, crooked Democrat Mayors included, is caught harboring them or obstructing their capture, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The principle -- Civil Disobedience -- is part of American tradition of liberty. The principle is not without merit; but the circumstances at which it is being applied (foreigners violating border-management procedures) is not so clearly appropriate for invoking it. While some individual deportation orders might be unjust, the right of the federal government to establish limits for asylum applications is well established. They don't just have the right, they have the duty.

This is a stupid hill to die on for the Democrat Mayors and Governors. They may think they are glorious virtue-signalers, but the vast majority of the public wants reasonable controls on unvetted immigrants that contain large numbers of dangerous criminals. If Democrats want to die on that hill, there are a lot of us that will be happy not only to tie them to the stakes but also pour syrup all over them for the critters to enjoy.

Simply PERFECT answer. "Motel Jail, We'll keep the light on for you."
How many will need to be jailed before the liberals realize they don't like to play the incarceration game? It shouldn't take long. Dems hate being held accountable.

Perfect answer. My bet is that the idiot mayor isn't actually willing to spend any time in jail. Perhaps he thinks a nice photo op of being cuffed and then put in a BP vehicle would play well. But when he finds that there is a few months of actually spending time in the jail....my bet is that he'll change his tune rapidly.

I believe Denver's Mayor will do some rethinking when he finds out that Homan is not plying games.

Just please be certain to jail them under the exact same conditions as the J6 patriots. How about even in the same D.C. jail!

Go mafia on them and jail all of them on the same day with breaking news of their individual arrests every ten minutes. That would be some good TV.

Pick this clown as the example held up to the rest of the blue states. Charge him with anything and everything, run up his legal bills, and cut off all federal funds to his state until he resigns. The rest of the clowns will fall in line.
