U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) has introduced a resolution to “censure and condemn” U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the indictment of former President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C.
In a statement posted to X on Friday, Gaetz accused the judge of exhibiting “blatant political bias from the bench” in her sentencing of “January 6th defendants.”

Deanne Criswell is current FEMA Director serving under Joe Biden. Criswell is the first woman nominated to lead the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The Biden administration cheered her appointment noting that Deanne has a strong background in climate change. Ella Sable Tacderan is currently sheltering 23 relatives at her home after many were displaced by the fires. She said 'the community has been a big part of my family's survival', referring to the heroic work of locals to support each other in the wake of the devastation.
