Driving In, Exactly?

Mike Pence is officially running for president. Why?
Well, because he wants to be president—that much has been clear since he accepted an invitation to be Donald Trump’s running mate in 2016 despite his obvious incompatibility with Trump as a matter of both personal comportment and ideology. Among other things, Pence was a “traditional family values” guy and national security “hawk” vis-à-vis figures like Vladimir Putin; joining the Trump campaign was pretty obviously a case of careerism over principle. And when you’re ambitious, and you’re the vice president, the next job you’re probably looking for is the big one!

There are two people who are running that have a chance to get through the primaries. Why do the others waste their time and money? They will be lucky if they pole at 10% combined. VP hopes? I think it just shows a bit of foolish stupidity on their part. Pence, no. And I'm from Indiana.

He's delusional. Everyone knows he did NOT do due diligence in approving the vote in 2020. He should have demanded proof the vote was not cheated.

As far as I'm concerned, he's in the breakdown lane.

I remember the leaked Wikileaks email between Pence and Paul Ryan and/or people on their staff that shows they were attempting to conspire to replace Donald Trump on the ticket just before the 2016 general election.
From that point forward I knew that Mike Pence was a snake. He surely is not the "Christian" he pretends to be.

If nothing else, a VP should show loyalty to the president. George H. W. Bush was always loyal to Reagan and got the top spot for a reward. Pence had the power to contest what was even then seen as a fraudulent election. He did not! We now know it was fraudulent and Pence's political career is at an end.

If Pence ever becomes the Republican nominee for President, the nasty and corrupt leftist Democrats would quickly kick the prayerful Pence into the gutter.

Why do people run for president? IMHO, it's the money and the name recognition (for a time) and the notoriety (again, for a time. Any one remember Ralph Nader?), i.e., self aggrandizement and ego. Pence is the same, despite his pious claims. . .
Stories of Pence's betrayal of President Trump abound. Truth? Depends upon the source. His loyalty lies elsewhere. I don't know his heart, no one does, only The Almighty G-d. But, we are admonished to discern behaviors and character according to The Word.
The writer argues about trifles: how the "candidate" presents her/his package to the public. Back to the same old politics as usual baloney. (You know, diddling on your feet and tell you it's raining stuff) Nuts! I miss the "mean" tweets and that which President Trump managed to accomplish while navigating the slings and arrows of misfortune, betrayal and evil doers, etc. He is wiser now and can do it again.
MAGA. Die hard. Thick and thin.

I saw this putz and his wife (who was jealous of the far more attractive Melania Trump) on News Max a few weekends ago. Mikey was in motorcycle gear getting ready to ride with Senator Joni Earnst of Iowa. He looked goofy with his biker vest while taking to the reporter about his election prospects and feelings about PDJT. As far as I'm concerned, in his quest for the White House Milquetoast Mike is driving backwards Australian style (left side of the road) on highway to nowhere.

In the elections of 2016 and 2020, elements of our government put their collective thumb on the scales of that process. And knowingly used a lie as a pretense to suppress an elected President's agenda. Add to that maybe six or so county Boards of Elections and state officials who suspended signature verification on ballots.
These people will never be sent to prison, as they deserve. Trump getting his 2nd term is the only obtainable measure of justice.

A “traditional family values” guy who, when he was governor of Indiana, caved to the Alphabet crowd as soon as they started pushing him. I was hugely disappointed when Trump put him on the ticket.
