Former President Donald J. Trump on Thursday detailed his comprehensive education policy platform which aims to “restore power to American parents.” It includes plans to cut funding to schools and programs that push radical left-wing ideologies like “Critical Race Theory and gender ideology,” and keeping boys out girls’ sports.
Trump unveiled his “plan to save American education” by noting that “[o]ur public schools have been taken over by the radical left maniacs.” (Tweet/Video) First and foremost, Trump pledged to “cut federal funding for any school or program pushing critical race theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content onto our children” and noted that he would direct

Will the red states start to incorporate these ideas?

The many Knotseez in the educational systems will be asking for more of your money to continue their agenda. The Knotseez need to be held accountable for their many treasonous acts against the U.S. Constitution. Gray haired Mrs. Wilson has been replaced by green hair/nose ring 20 something.

It was just this week I watched a YT video of an elementary school administrator telling his teachers not to sweat if about CRT, he told them there were many ways to get the same information across to students without saying the actual words that would ''trigger'' the parents to what was going on. Just change the wording around a bit and present the information. The staff applauded the suggestion and began to high-five their colleagues.
Boys and girls will learn basic perfidy from these early school teachers. Not that they couldn't also learn it on the ''streets.'' Teachers will just prove to them that lying is OK.

A better idea is to give school choice. Give the student the vouchers and let the parents decide where their kids go

Sorry I can't read Donald Trump anything right now. The fact that he is congratulating Ronna McDaniel is very, very disappointing.

Additionally, it feels like a punch in the stomach. I am starting to wonder if it is all about winning for Donald Trump and "Make America Great Again" is just a slogan that brought the conservatives to his side. A slogan that many conservatives believe in. Especially this Christian conservative. . .

Disappointed that Trump didn't call for elimination of the Dept of Education and return education to the states, where it belongs. This monster was born at the end of the Carter years and has been an abject failure ever since, relegating America's children toward the bottom of performance measured against children in other developed countries.

Here is the comment I wrote - - when I posted an almost identical articleyesterday - - four hours before this one was posted - - - -
"Very disappointing. No - - extremely disappointing. President Trump plans to tinker with the Department of Education - - instead of completely defunding and eliminating it. That has been the Pubbie problem for decades - - first by accepting the leftist's premises and language - - and then just nibbling around the edges. "Vote Pubbie - - because we can run the welfare state better than the demonrats." Very little makes me sicker than that. If this is what President Trump intends to offer - - we may have to start looking to someone else."
This is a very RINO-like proposal - - tinkering around the edges of the welfare state. President Trump must be much bolder than this. The only true course is to eliminate the Education Dept. President Trump will have to re-orient his thinking - - if he wants our continued enthusiastic support.

This is actually a very good idea.
Stop brainwashing children into leftist drones. They grow up to be brainwashed Democrats.
It will gain Trump votes and hit the Democrats hard long term as well.
The left will impeach Trump over this (again).

American parents need school vouchers for their children....the only way to stop this nonsense is to give parents choice of schools...and then watch their children take off...I did it forty years ago...and I'm proud to say...I have three doctors and one microbiologist in my family...not bad..hey?..it cost me thousands of dollars for tuitions and many hours car pooling...but I did it MY WAY..and the revrump Jackson of the rainbow coalition emptied the Chicago public schools and it took many years to build back the numbers they lost....

It will be another 18 years before we again begin producing high school graduates without brain damage. The current generation is a throwaway.

It's called "diplomacy" #6. Donald Trump now has to depend upon Ronna to give him favorable coverage for the next two years and slide some campaign funding his way. He did indeed Make America Great Again until the Deep State fundamentally changed America into something we no longer recognize and selected a wooden-headed dummy to lead us.

President Trump is in a sort of limbo. He holds no political office so his proposals cannot be enacted or even considered. His only serious rival, Governor DeSantis, is implementing his proposals and they are extremely popular with rational voters.
I get the feeling that Trump is competing with DeSantis and unfortunately the playing field favors the governor. In this instance Trump addresses education, which shouldn’t be under the purview of Washington DC, while DeSantis is making great improvements in Florida’s educational system. On this issue DeSantis comes out the winner.
Trump has a superb record as president while his successor has an abysmal record. I wish Trump would concentrate on identifying the horrors Biden has wrought and what he would do to rectify the harm. As the man presiding over three great years of superb accomplishments Trump has the advantage over DeSantis.

This is not an intelligent plan. There is not some powerful outside influence causing the schools to be the leftist indoctrination centers that they are. Everything and everyone involved in public education (and much private ed too) is soaked in political and social leftism. The colleges of education instill it in the teachers. The union promotes it. The textbooks teach it. It's in every curriculum. Each of these entities would resist and subvert any effort to change things, and they know how to wield power far better than the hapless parents who want better for their kids.
The only answer is to get the children out of the public schools. It does not take anywhere near the money the government spends to give children a good education. A couple of states now have school choice systems where the money goes to the families, not the school districts. There are plenty of teachers who would like to start their own schools, and if regulations were eased, various types of schools would spring up like weeds. Etc. A lot of parents are doing versions of this now. Trump knows very little about education and what he suggests is mostly negative -- stop this, get rid of that. There is so much potential right now that I hope someone can grab hold of it and free parents and teachers to create real education.

For those who doubt President Trump try to remember he could have led a very comfortable life without taking on this job, he is one of the few Presidents who LOST a great deal of wealth because of it, while not perfect. he did far more good than harm and left office with the country in far better shape than he found it, as President what he mostly GAINED were buckets full of grief and unwarranted attacks while fighting the Democrats, the media, the Deep State, large parts of his own party... and people who don't like mean tweets. Having been cheated out of a second term, and getting NO HELP from so-called Republican "leaders", he could have easily thrown up his hands and retired to his homes and golf courses. Yet here he is, still in the fight.

How very sad to see several of President Trump’s heretofore supporters now appearing to be fair-weather friends. Poster 16 is to be commended for the level-headed, compassionate, understanding, and tolerant recounting of President Trump’s accomplishments in four years while contending with vicious antagonists of every stripe. President Trump’s record clearly shows he is a man of his word—a man to be trusted as well as a man with a God-given intellect that he utilizes in the best interests of this country; a true, admirable American patriot.
It is easy for arm chair prognosticators to cast aspersions while not knowing what may be going on behind-the-scenes. For individuals who pursue the truth, there is much to be found that is worthy of consideration for which this man, mostly alone, is trying to do his utmost to save this country as founded on behalf of all Americans regardless of political affiliation and restore it to the beacon of hope and admiration it once held throughout the world. If there is a 2024 presidential election and it is not stolen, perhaps President Trump will once again be victorious and try to save this country from the destructive path it is on right now. If he has that opportunity, he would most assuredly need prayers for guidance and safety because his adversaries have wealth, power, method and means of destruction to use against their perceived obstructionist(s).
Although education of children is of paramount importance, it may be prudent to temporarily work within the current structure of the Department of Education to achieve what may be relatively an “easy fix” to a much more complex long-term necessity. It would seem the priorities at this point in time would be to insure the safety and sovereignty of this country, restore its military might, restore the rule of law, restore medical ethics, and restore the freedoms of American citizens as provided in the U. S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The task is monumental and seemingly impossible without Divine intervention.
Hopefully, the temptation to abandon President Trump will be reconsidered by drawing on the infinite wisdom in Scripture such as in Ecclesiastes 3: A Time for Everything ~ “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Godspeed, President Trump. May God’s guidance and blessings be upon you.
