Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) skipped the debate against her Republican challenger Yesil Vega after joining a lawmaker pushing to jail parents who do not affirm children’s transgender identities. In a statement on Sunday, Vega said that Spanberger suddenly pulled out of the scheduled debate, noting it came right after she took a beating in conservative media for transgender extremism. “The reports of Abigail dropping out of this week’s debate are disappointing,” said Vega. “Our campaign has been nothing but accommodating, literally agreeing to every Spanberger request without objection. Abigail is scared to answer why she supports this extreme anti-parent agenda”

Apparently many of today’s present or aspiring political leaders have decided that rather than being representatives for The People, they will RULE those people using their own radical beliefs as The Law. Tyrants is a good name for these folks AND for those people behind the curtain advising OR controlling them.

Skipping debates is a questionable campaign strategy, but very much along the Dem logic, as encapsulated in Pelosi's preferred method of having to vote for a bill in order to see what is in the bill.

I think parents should seek to throw these satanic child mutilators and groomers and pervert transgender extremists into prison for life. To put parents in jail for simply protecting their innocent children from sexual mutilation and lifelong misery is heroic. God bless them for doing the right thing.

How many children in VA ages 3-11 have told their parents they want to be transgendered, have surgery to change their gender? Ya think a bunch? Don't think so. What child thinks about changing, male to female etc.? These evil, satanic propagators of child mutilation should be convicted of the highest form of child abuse. Or maybe change their own gender? Big cash, big money is behind all of this. Refuse. Remove. Recall ANY elected vermin who advocates molesting and changing a child's personhood.

What 3–11-year-old chooses or thinks about changing their sex? Most likely answer, none, unless a sicko parent entices them to think about it. This argument is rooted in the home then promoted by pedophile perverts in the schools. There can't be that much participation in this minuscule group of youngsters.

Missing Princeton student Misrach Ewunetie was found dead Thursday — six days after she vanished, local officials announced. The 20-year-old’s body was found behind the tennis courts near the edge of the Ivy League campus by a facilities employee, the office of the Mercer County Prosecutor said. Authorities said they do not know her cause of death but noted that “there were no obvious signs of injury and her death does not appear suspicious or criminal in nature.” Her body was located around 1 p.m. Thursday. The Ivy League school also said in a statement that police do not believe there was foul play in Ewunetie’s death.

A Democratic myth has arisen that former President Donald Trump's denial of the accuracy of the 2020 vote was "unprecedented." Unfortunately, the history of U.S. elections is often a story of both legitimate and illegitimate election denialism. The 1800, 1824, 1876, and 1960 elections were all understandably questioned. In some of these cases, a partisan House of Representatives decided the winner. Presidential candidate Al Gore in 2000 did not accept the popular vote results in Florida. He spent five weeks futilely contesting the state's tally — until recounts and the Supreme Court certified it.

PORTLAND, Ore.—Oregon Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tina Kotek tried to walk back her progressive stances in the race's final debate Wednesday. Her opponents weren't having it. Kotek said that residents "need to feel safe" in the state and that she has "always supported" Oregon's police but thinks they should be held "accountable." Republican opponent Christine Drazan countered that Kotek "did not support police even when rioters were attacking a police station" during Portland's 2020 George Floyd-inspired protests. She called Kotek "the original defund-the-police candidate." Kotek also tried to distance herself during the debate from Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D.), the least popular governor in America.

While it is not clear if Russian President Vladimir Putin would go so far as to use nuclear weapons, despite his recent threats about deploying them, the escalation of the Ukraine conflict has led to increased discussions about the potential outbreak of a nuclear war.

Journalists and other left-wing activists are freaking out over a New York Times poll that shows Republicans leading Democrats by 4 percentage points among likely voters ahead of next month's midterm elections. They were particularly aggrieved by the poll's finding that Republicans were tied with Democrats at 47 percent among female voters and were supported by 34 percent of Hispanic voters and 18 percent of black voters. Those are terrible numbers for Democrats. We don't know how the election is going to play out, but at least one thing is guaranteed: If Democrats lose, they are going to blame everyone but themselves for the outcome.
