We are here because we discuss uncomfortable truths. We accept things as they are, and not as we would wish them to be.
Since the original innocuous tweet 48 hours ago, from a private account, which did not even use the name “Trump,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been absolutely silent about the illicit FBI raid on the home of Florida citizen and former President Donald J Trump. DeSantis is showing us all who he really is; but are you willing to accept it?

President Joe Biden and his family left Washington Wednesday for a week-long vacation on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. Biden's motorcade pulled up to the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews with first lady Jill Biden, son Hunter Biden and wife Melissa Cohen, and grandson baby Beau Biden in tow. The president was holding his grandson's hand. Baby Beau waved at the military greeter, as the president saluted—while the first lady helped him up Air Force One's stairs.(Snip)The White House has not said how long the Bidens will be on the private island but there are FAA flight restrictions in place through Tuesday. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) refused to answer questions about the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, the home of former President Donald Trump.
During a press event, when McConnell was asked about his reaction to the FBI’s raid at Mar-a-Lago, he quickly responded, “I’m here today to talk about the flood and the recovery from the flood.”
Watch:(Tweet/Video) Breitbart News attempted to reach McConnell’s office for comment earlier Tuesday morning and has not heard back by the time of publication. The minority leader has not made any public announcement regarding the raid and has appeared to show no concern.

FBI agents reportedly searched through former first lady Melania Trump’s wardrobe during Monday’s raid of Mar-a-Lago, the Trump family’s residence in Florida.
Former President Donald Trump announced the FBI raided his home in a statement issued Monday.
“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar- A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said. “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

Even before Congress and President Joe Biden give the final OK for the IRS to hire 87,000 more agents in an $80 billion package, the tax agency is revealing a priority job category that could get first dibs on the huge budget expansion. On its jobs page is a listing of vacancies for special agents to be placed around the country to root out financial fraud. But these are opening for more than just financial experts: They will also be armed. Among the job requirements listed: “Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.”

As the Wyoming primaries approach, The New York Times is already preparing the post-election spin boosting the post-congressional exploits of Rep. Liz Cheney. The Aug. 8 front-page headline was "Cheney Ready to Lose a Race, But Not a Fight."
Times reporter Jonathan Martin laid it on thick: "She has used the Aug. 16 contest as a sort of a high-profile stage for her martyrdom — and a proving ground for her new crusade." Martyrdom? She's not being burned at the stake like Joan of Arc, even if that's the kind of moral high ground the liberal media coverage suggests.

The Labor Department released the inflation report Wednesday and while any fair-minded person can tell the economy is far from looking up, President Joe Biden has well and truly embraced Orwellian dystopian doublethink and, instead of saying “2+2=5,” declared 8.5 equals zero. While holding a ceremony Wednesday to sign the PACT Act that, in part, addresses the healthcare needs of veterans who suffered illness or injury from exposure to burn pits, Biden attempted to draw a win on the consumer price index (CPI) coming in at 8.5 percent for the month of July. That number was indeed a drop from

Public health officials are grappling with how far to go in advising gay men to alter their sexual behavior as the monkeypox virus spreads mostly through their social networks but is a threat to anyone. The World Health Organization chief specifically advised gay men to reduce their number of sexual partners, but other health officials, including the health commissioner in New York City, have warned that abstinence messages don’t work.(Snip)The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in recent days updated its guidance to say anyone—not just gay men—can limit their exposure to monkeypox by limiting sexual partners and avoiding “spaces like back rooms, saunas, sex clubs,

Donald Trump has criticized New York Attorney General Letitia James' 'political attack on me, my family, and my great company' and confirmed he would not answer questions when grilled under oath in the investigation into his business practices.
In a statement exclusively obtained by DailyMail.com, the former President says James campaigned on the policy of 'Get and Destroy Trump' and her probe is nothing more than a witch hunt.
He also confirmed that on the advice of counsel he will plead the fifth when questioned in Manhattan and insists: 'I did nothing wrong'.
'She even assured her supporters in an Election promise that, “we’re going to definitely sue him.
