A new analysis by the Tax Foundation, a nonpartisan fiscal watchdog, estimates that President Biden’s $1.75 trillion expansion of the federal safety net could kill more than 103,000 jobs over the next decade and add $750 billion to the federal deficit. The estimate is based on a thorough analysis of the White House’s spending “framework” and the corresponding 1,684-page bill text released by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Experts from the Tax Foundation say the proposal will fall far short of the promises made by the White House. "We estimate that the House bill would reduce long-run economic output by nearly 0.4% and eliminate about 103,000 full-time equivalent

And you know if they're willing to admit to killing 103K jobs, the number is going to be astronomically higher.

My first awareness of the calamitous dangers of climate change was in 1969. An impending ice age would cause massive crop failure and starvation by the 1990s. Didn't happen. Then, in the late 80s, it changed to warming and the ice caps would melt, coastal cities would disappear beneath the waves and the only survivors would be in Canada all by the turn of the century. Didn't happen. Then the Goracle and Princes Phil and Chuck made their predictions if doom. Didn't happen. Then the Goracle admitted it was lies because you have to scare people to action. Now most of the original greenies are saying it us Globull and the marxists are using it to frighten people and obtaining power and wealth. I knew that 50 years ago. Since the Global warming Bscat started I have always asked any doomsayer - then why aren't major coastal cities building high seawalls?

The capabilities of the Chinese military continue to beat U.S. estimates, and neither the Soviet Union at the height of the Cold War nor any other country in recent history has consistently exceeded Pentagon and intelligence community projections to this extent, a top Air Force general said Wednesday. In an exclusive interview with The Washington Times, Lt. Gen. S. Clinton Hinote, the Air Force’s deputy chief of staff for strategy, integration and requirements, offered a blunt assessment of how quickly the Chinese armed forces have accelerated key programs such as hypersonic weapons, nuclear arms, and a host of others. Gen. Hinote‘s sobering take came just hours after a new Pentagon

Whilst Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin are rightly hailed as being the first men to step on the moon, it was a stray mongrel named Laika who propelled the space race into new territory. On November 3, 1957, the little part-husky dog–who was also known as Curly–became the first animal to orbit Earth when she flew out of the atmosphere in the Soviet Union's Sputnik 2 spacecraft. At the time, the Russians told the world that, until her air supply ran out, the dog had survived for six days inside a capsule which provided her with food, water and oxygen. Offering a path to citizenship to illegal immigrants and opening the doors to more legal immigrants will cost the federal government more than $500 billion over the next few decades, the Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday. The costs would come chiefly to Social Security, Medicare and other social safety net programs that the new, and newly legalized, immigrants would be able to access, the budget analysts said. The nonpartisan budget agency analyzed House Democrats’ plan to update the window of eligibility for illegal immigrants to adjust their status to legal immigrants, and to expand availability of green cards, or legal immigrant visas, to more foreign citizens.

A hospital in Connecticut began administering Covid-19 vaccines to children, aged between five to 11, just minutes after the CDC officially signed off on approval. Hartford Hospital vaccinated six children with a low dose of Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine on Tuesday evening and dozens more will get the shot today. The decision has caused a storm of controversy with opponents pointing to the fact there is little evidence to suggest vaccinating children is necessary. Data shows Covid poses a low risk to the age group, with children accounting for less than 0.1 percent of Covid deaths in America.(Snip)In Britain, scientists have warned against officials 'blindly' recommending
