Once again, the U.S. Senate is on vacation. This group barely works, and when they are in session, they accomplish practically nothing. Since the start of President Donald Trump’s second term, Congress has passed only one major piece of legislation. While the “One Big Beautiful Bill” was a notable accomplishment, it should not have been the only legislative victory for the Republican Congress. During the same period of President Joe Biden’s administration, a Democratic-led Congress passed four major pieces of legislation: the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, the CHIPS Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
Of course, these bills harmed our economy, propelled wasteful spending, and funded ludicrous

I used to believe it was wrong, even disrespectful, to "celebrate" Memorial Day, the day that honors the roughly 1,308,468 men and women who died to create and preserve our nation and the liberties we enjoy (I also include in that number those who died of disease, accidents, and other causes). Who am I to take a day off to grill hot dogs, drink Carling Black Label, blare surf music, and have fun in “honor” of those who died protecting our nation and fighting communism overseas? It always struck me as tasteless. That changed when a wiser man explained that those are exactly the things I

It’s no secret that some humanoid robotics companies are training their machines for work on factory floors, while others are positioning their bots to enter homes in the coming years.
One of the first real signs of humanoids entering homes today is a new cleaning service in San Francisco that uses what appear to be Unitree humanoid robots trained to clean everything from floors and countertops to stovetops, mirrors, and nearly any surface in the house. Called “Gatsby,” the new service deploys humanoid robots to homes for a flat service charge of $150. “We just made U.S. history. Today, Gatsby ran the first-ever consumer cleaning by a humanoid robot

A few weeks ago, I was walking through the halls of Congress and passed Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s office which was decorated with the usual terror flag. Right now people are talking about another congressional candidate who makes a point of rejecting the pledge of allegiance.
Mai Vang is a Sacramento City Councilwoman, and a California congressional candidate for California’s 7th Congressional District. Mai Vang also refuses to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, and turns her back on the U.S. flag during public meetings. The Sacramento City Councilwoman has openly boasted about the practice of turning her back on the flag at ceremonies, drawing sharp criticism as she campaigns for higher office.

France’s health ministry has banned a number of popular nicotine-based products including Zyn pouches, and violators of the law could face a nearly half-million-dollar fine and years in jail.
The prohibition extends to the use, acquisition, possession and sale of oral nicotine products such as pouches and gum lozenges. Those violating the law could be penalized by up to five years in prison and a $436,600 fine. The ban includes products such as Zyn, which originated in Sweden and has surged in popularity throughout Europe and the US in recent years as a tobacco-free alternative to smoking.
According to the National Youth Tobacco Survey, nicotine pouches were the second most frequently used

A video began circulating Thursday of a guest speaker at the Islamic Center of Passaic County in Paterson, New Jersey (ICPC-Paterson), Osama Abu Irshaid of American Muslims for Palestine, that every American, including President Donald Trump, should watch, watch again, and study. Its implications for the American political scene are massive, but few, if any, will take heed of them.
The video comes from a Jan. 16, 2026 event at ICPC-Paterson, “The Night Journey & Cultivating Hope,” a commemoration of the Islamic legend of Muhammad being carried to Jerusalem on a winged white horse with a human head, which constitutes the entirety of the Islamic claim to Jerusalem

Venezuela still has a long ways to go before fully rejoining the world of fully modern nations. There are still remnants of the Maduro regime hanging on, including the "interim" president Delcy Rodríguez, a Maduro creature herself. One of the key steps to redeeming Venezuela will be new elections, which many in and out of Venezuela are hoping will happen as early as this year. Now, opposition candidate and exile María Corina Machado is now talking about returning to Venezuela and running for president. That might be one of the better things that could happen to the South American nation since Maduro was nabbed.

In the most stunning revelation since it was confirmed Liberace liked the dudes, Bill Kristol — neocon, publisher, and one-time Republican operative extraordinaire — has announced he’s now a Democrat.
Kristol is best known both for his punditry in print and on various cable news hits, as well as publishing The Weekly Standard, long known as one of the pillars of the conservative establishment.
However, while the conservative establishment generally didn’t like Donald Trump as he became a serious candidate during the 2016 cycle, Kristol had an anaphylactic reaction to suddenly being displaced by the populist rabble. Fast-forward 10 years and the professional NeverTrumper has become yet another professional mouthpiece

Somewhere in Tallahassee, Ron DeSantis is probably grinning ear to ear as Florida Democrats descend into yet another round of intraparty warfare.
The fireworks are happening in the Sunshine State’s 20th Congressional District, and it is all thanks to none other than Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former Democrat National Committee chair who managed to make nearly everyone angry, including her own party’s activists. Florida Republicans drew a new congressional map earlier this year under DeSantis’s leadership, leaving most Democrats fuming while conservatives celebrated a fairer representation of the state’s red shift.
The GOP already controls twenty of the twenty eight congressional seats, but the updated map could hand them several more.

Hotel maids in NYC already out-earn rookie cops, firefighters and even teachers with master’s degrees — and they just got a raise.
The Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, the union representing 22,000 city hotel workers, ratified the new contract Thursday that will bring housekeepers to $77,113 on July 1 with $110,000 in salary alone in the sixth year.
The agreement made last weekend with the hotel owners averted a strike that was already throwing a wrench into the city’s America 250 celebrations and the FIFA World Cup as visitors said they were afraid to make reservations if a strike was at hand. Under the new contract, hotel guests will absorb some higher

In a fitting pairing of two like-minded individuals who are best known for taking care of themselves in the most shameless ways possible, Candace Owens hosted Hunter Biden in her home studio for a two-hour interview. I’d like to say it was a wide-ranging interview, but it wasn’t. It was pretty narrowly a two-hour propagandistic narrative delivered in stereo. Seeing the two of them on screen together, they are the perfect couple, actually. Kind of like Bonnie and Clyde.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth tore into leaders who’ve tried to turn the military into “woke Princeton” and stained the American spirit, ripping DEI in a fiery speech to graduating cadets at West Point Saturday.
With President Trump considering renewing strikes against Iran, Hegseth directed his toughest talk toward military leaders who backed diversity programs he said were sapping the Armed Forces of its strength.
Opening his remarks on a rainy day at the storied military academy overlooking the Hudson River, the secretary slammed the woke agenda. “We saw woke and weak leaders trying to make West Point look like woke Princeton, which happens to be my long lost and
