President Donald Trump’s national security adviser, Mike Waltz, is getting a new role
Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that he was “pleased to announce that I will be nominating Mike Waltz to be the next United States Ambassador to the United Nations.”
From his time in uniform on the battlefield, in Congress and, as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation’s Interests first. I know he will do the same in his new role.” “In the interim, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve as National Security Advisor, while continuing his strong leadership at the State Department,” Trump added. “Together, we

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar told Daily Caller News Foundation reporter Myles Morell to “— off” when he asked about her party advocating for an alleged MS-13 member.
Morell asked Omar if more Democrats should be traveling to El Salvador to advocate for the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged MS-13 member deported by President Donald Trump’s administration. Omar, without answering the question, repeatedly told Morrell to “---- off.”
“Do you think more of your Democratic colleagues should be traveling to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of Abrego Garcia?” Morrell asked.
“I think you should ---,” Omar said.
“I’m sorry, what, congresswoman?” Morrell asked.

The Trump White House just sent a clear message: accountability matters.
National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and his deputy, Alex Wong, are out at the National Security Council, Fox News confirmed Thursday. Additional departures are expected, and President Trump is slated to speak on the matter himself.
Waltz, a former Green Beret and Florida congressman, came under scrutiny after The Atlantic published a report detailing how Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg was erroneously included in a Signal group chat with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, discussing counterterrorism strikes against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
Though no classified information was divulged in the chat, Democrats pretended

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is ordering the "transformation" of the U.S. Army, which will include divesting some formations, canceling procurement on older systems, and merging several internal organizations.
There will be a merging of the Army Futures Command and Training and Doctrine Command into a new organization.
In a lesson learned from the Ukraine War, the Army Transformation Initiative (ATI) will “Reduce and restructure manned attack helicopter formations and augment with inexpensive drone swarms capable of overwhelming adversaries,” and “Divest outdated formations, including select armor and aviation units across the Total Army (Active, Reserve, National Guard).”
“To build a leaner, more lethal force, the Army must transform at an accelerated pace

The Department of Defense announced that May is Military Appreciation Month, and thanks to President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, our troops have something to celebrate.
From the skyrocketing recruitment to ditching DEI to reinstating those fired over COVID-19 vaccination status, the Trump Department of Defense (DOD) has much to promote in terms of achievements going into Military Appreciation Month. And hopefully, we will continue to see more victories in the future, such as successfully separating “transgender” troops, as Hegseth’s DOD announced it would do before activist courts intervened.
Make sure to thank any active duty military and veterans you know this month! They

Washington, D.C., mayor Muriel Bowser (D.) lied about a $61,000 trip she took to Qatar, which she said was funded by two different U.S. organizations. The Hamas-harboring Middle Eastern nation actually funded the trip, according to a new report.
Bowser's office initially claimed her December 2023 trip to the Qatari capital city of Doha was funded by the D.C. Chamber of Commerce before changing its story and saying the U.S. Conference of Mayors paid for the trip. Both claims are false, local station WJLA/ABC7 reported Monday. In reality, Qatar covered $61,930 in travel expenses for Bowser and four staff members, according to a letter from Qatar to

The Trump administration is suing both Michigan and Hawaii over the states' plans to take oil companies to court over their alleged role in causing global warming and environmental damage.
In complaints filed late Wednesday, federal prosecutors said the two states' planned actions against the oil and gas industry would directly counter the Trump administration's efforts to boost domestic energy production, enforce federal emissions laws, and conduct foreign affairs. The state's lawsuits, by blaming oil companies for weather-related damages, could decimate and bankrupt those companies, presenting an existential threat to the industry.

As the U.S. Marine Corps advances toward an all fifth-generation fighter fleet, a critical imbalance is coming into sharp focus: cutting-edge jets are still flying with outdated, 1980s-era weapons systems.
Leaders within Marine Corps aviation are urgently calling for modernization of munitions and operational capabilities to fully unlock the potential of their growing fleet of F-35B and F-35C aircraft.
Lt. Gen. Bradford Gering, deputy commandant for aviation, and Col. Derek Brannon, director of the Cunningham Group, voiced these concerns at the Modern Day Marine military exposition in Washington, D.C., emphasizing both the promise of new technology and the present limitations it faces.

German automaker Mercedes-Benz announced on Thursday that it will move production of one of its “core segment” vehicles to the United States, nearly a month after President Donald Trump’s 25% tariff on imported vehicles took effect.
Mercedes did not specify which vehicle it will begin producing in the United States, but said that a “core vehicle segment” would be manufactured at a factory in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Bloomberg reported. The automotive company plans to shift vehicle assembly to the United States by 2027.

Milwaukee Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan — the left-wing judge who was arrested by the FBI for allegedly shielding an illegal migrant from immigration officials — has added a former Bush solicitor general to her defense team.
Paul Clement — a prominent appellate lawyer who served as the U.S. Solicitor General from 2005 to 2009 under George W. Bush’s administration — has “stepped in” to represent Dugan, who has been accused of interfering with a migrant arrest and an ICE deportation operation, according to Law.com.
Clement, who has argued more than 100 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, has recommended that the case be dismissed with prejudice, meaning he wants to

Former White House Press Secretary and current MSNBC host Jen Psaki joined CBS’s Stephen Colbert on The Late Show on Wednesday for three segments full of loathing President Trump and his “fire hose of dirty water” and “do-nothing Democrats” like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Colbert quipped, “Let's talk about just yesterday was Trump's 100th day in office; how did you celebrate?”
Psaki mourned, “I mean, I just covered my eyes, pretended it never happened. No, I did not do that. Look, I, most days, I don't know if you feel this way, I know that you are a big observer of the news,

The USDA has launched a portal for farmers, ranchers, and USDA customers to report complaints if they believe they have been targeted by unfair or politically motivated legal actions.
U.S. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins made the announcement Wednesday morning. “We will work with our counterparts across the Trump government to address any other government overreach in situations like this,” she says. “We must ensure that our farmers and our ranchers have not and will not be targeted for living the American way of life.”
Rollins says the prosecution of the Maude family, a multi-generational South Dakota farm and ranch family that was indicted on charges of “theft of federal property” over
