Donald Trump left his criminal trial on Tuesday and visited a bodega worker cleared of murder for stabbing an ex-con to death in self-defense in his Manhattan store. The former president headed to Hamilton Heights to speak to Jose Alba, who knifed Austin Simon to death in July 2022, when he jumped the counter in his store. Alba's case sparked widespread scrutiny across New York City, until charges against him were dropped in July by Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, who has become a frequent target of Trump's attacks on the campaign trail.

Trump's visit to see Jose Alba at the bodega today showed two things. Trump connects easily with everyday hard working people. It also reminds everyone that Alvin Bragg has a bad habit of charging innocent people with crimes while criminals are allowed free reign and no consequences. Trump's next visit should be with Daniel Penny in a subway.

Trump continues to be the left's worst nightmare and will continue to be a target of their lawfare attacks. I really believe that if he campaigns in NY he can turn the state red, at least as it relates to the presidential ballot.

Harlem? New York City's Harlem?? Trump was cheered?! Despite being in 3 separate trials in NYC?? That news made many people in the current White House update their resumes after they spent time throwing up.

our speaker-gate dilemma is going nuclear; i hope the head of our party-pdjt-will step in remotely to obtain a just result for the skint wallets of america. mccarthy had the talent, skills, and experience of a great speaker-which he squandered by taking money and perhaps advice from not great ppl. johnson is just all round useless, spineless and , yes, Godless. he is viciously and defiantly squandering the public fisc in ever more frightful amounts, on blatantly worthless ppl. surely, pdt can see that, particularly in light of the rapid improvement of the moribund rnc since that change of leadership. imho, this ugly behaviour is all in aid of the financial destruction of pdt and his supporters-to grab generational wealth, as they further pursue destruction of free peoples and govts on a global scale.

Outraged Papua New Guinea academics have slammed President Joe Biden for his 'unacceptable' suggestion that his uncle was eaten by cannibals in the country after his plane was shot down during World War II. Biden implied on two occasions Wednesday that his maternal uncle 2nd Lieutenant Ambrose J. Finnegan had met a grisly end at the hands of cannibals after his plane was shot down by the enemy over New Guinea in 1944. But the White House and official defense records confirmed that Finnegan died when the military plane he was in experienced engine failure and crashed into the Pacific Ocean, not over land.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) released a final rule on Monday including abortion in the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA). The final rule dictates that, under the PWFA, employers with 15 or more employees must provide the same accommodations to workers who have abortions as those who have “limitations related to…pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.” The PWFA passed with bipartisan support in 2022, and did not include language about abortion. Instead, the law was created to allow reasonable workplace accommodations for pregnant and postpartum mothers such as time off and flexible breaks, unless the accommodation would result in an undue hardship for the employer.

Support for the two 2024 election candidates looks very different, and it’s good news for those who want the United States back to the way it was before Democrats assumed office. After spending hours in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump was met with an abundance of support while visiting a local New York City bodega. “Trump, Trump, Trump," "Four more years," and "We love Trump,” could be heard from the streets of the city as the 2024 hopeful addressed the crowd. The crowd filled with dozens of supporters began singing the National Anthem as the former president approached them.

The 2024 election feels very different than the 2020 election and we see examples of changing attitudes every day. Addison Smith of Newsmax recently spoke to a black voter in Philadelphia, a famously blue city, who explained why the country needs to reelect Trump in 2024. Trump is making huge gains with minority voters in this election cycle and this voter does a great job of explaining why this is happening. No one has confidence in Joe Biden’s ability to lead the country. RedState has details:Smith also spoke with a guy who broke it down in terms that would resonate with everyone on Thursday in Philadelphia.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) made history Thursday night just before midnight by essentially surrendering Republican majority control to Democrats. For the first time in recorded history — since the House began keeping records — the House Rules Committee relied on minority party votes to overcome objections from the majority and advance a rule bill to the House floor. The committee voted nine to three, with all four Democrats on the committee voting with five Republicans to move a rule to the House floor, which, if passed with Democrat support as expected, would allow votes on Johnson’s foreign aid package, including a bill that includes tens of billions to fund Ukraine.
