The Business of Wokeness is Bad Business

A couple of weeks ago, millions of Americans awoke to news that Bud Light had sponsored Dylan Mulvaney, a man who has become famous by pretending to be a ditzy teenage girl. Suddenly, if you bought a Bud Light, you found yourself financing and promoting the radical transgender ideology that demands that chemical castration and surgical mutilation be normalized in order to affirm the delusions harbored by thousands of gender-dysphoric children and adults across America. On the surface, it was a move so boneheaded that many wondered if it was an April Fools gag, given the timing. But it was genuine, with Bud Light's parent company, Anheuser-Busch, initially defending

Saw Shark Tank the other day. One group asking for money was clearly woke. All the sharks supported their efforts, but not one would put their money where their mouth was. Fascinating to watch. They all fear the wrath of the LGBTQ community. Watch them dance. Bud Light is further proof that wokeness is bad for business. AB had to know there would be a backlash, but there would also be one if they rejected the gay community. Lose-lose for them.

AB is trying to backtrack without actually backtracking or apologizing. Once a company steps in it, any attempt to undo it will make them the target of an LGBTQ+etc jihad. They are well and truly stuck.

While the CEO of AB was doing the obligatory apology by saying senior management didn't know about the hiring of the man pretending to be a woman as a spokesperson, my question is how could that be? The company made beer cans with Mulvaney's picture on it. Surely that couldn't be done without someone pretty high up in the company giving approval.

I don't drink Budweiser anything anyway, and neither do the woke idiots, LBTQXYZ, trans clowns, or people from Blackrock. So, this whole advertising campaign was never about expanding the product and the higher ups knew it. However, this does prove that the more women in power positions both in business and politics, the more this country moves farther to the left, and the last thirty years has proven that.

I for one will not allow myself to be called a transphobe by anyone for finding the character Mulvaney created a demeaning caricature of a woman, (or worse, a teenage girl too young to drink alcoholic beverages). I have never met a woman or girl who is that ditzy in fifty plus years. I remember the outrage back in the 90s when Mattel made a Barbie that said "Math is hard." and the feminists pounced. Today they are quiet while men win "Woman of the Year Awards" and female athletic contests, and real women like Riley Gaines get punched in the face by a man.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance at an abortion rally in Los Angeles on Saturday, a day after the Supreme Court issued an administrative stay regarding restrictions on mifepristone, the drug used in about half of all abortions nationwide. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito granted a five-day pause on Friday after the Department of Justice requested the court intervene following a ruling by Texas Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, which paused FDA approval of the abortion drug. In her remarks, Harris urged rallygoers to “stand up and fight,” describing the situation as a “critical moment” in U.S. history.

Bud Light is facing more cultural backlash after its transgender activist stunt featuring Dylan Mulvaney. On Friday night in Nashville, country music singer Riley Green decided to swap the “Bud Light” lyric in his song to a more palatable one. (Tweet/Video) “When @RileyGreenMusic sang his hit song ‘I Wish Grandpa’s Never Died”’ last night, he changed the lyrics a bit,” Rogan Handley said. “The new line is ‘and coolers never ran out of cold Coors Light’ instead of Bud Light. The crowd goes nuts,” he added.

We’ve seen a lot of craziness over the years from the climate change cult. First, it was global cooling, then global warming. Now, because they don’t know what they are talking about and none of their predictions come to pass, it’s the more amorphous “climate change” (although the “climate” is always changing). They are never held accountable for being wrong, and they just move on to the next thing to push us to panic over.(Snip) Let’s listen to what Joe Biden said during his vacation in Ireland. This was before he told guests at Dublin Castle that he wanted to “lick the world.” (Tweet/Video)

Democrats, led by President Joe Biden, are making a big bet on Brandon Johnson. They’re betting the Chicago that delegates and reporters pour into for their national presidential nominating convention in August 2024 will be helmed by a progressive, labor-friendly mayor whose policies are making the city a better place. They’re betting Johnson can help them tell a multicultural, multigenerational Democratic story that their geriatric presidential nominee can use as a springboard to energize young voters and win four more years in the White House. And they’re betting their made-for-TV bash will go off without a hitch in a city that has a spotty record throwing these shindigs and a national reputation
