MANCHESTER, New Hampshire – Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy torched Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) while speaking exclusively with Breitbart News on Friday, calling him “a sheep in wolf’s clothing” who had a “fundamentally uncourageous” response to the news of former President Donald Trump’s then-impending indictment.
Ramaswamy, who strongly condemned Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case once Trump announced he expected to be arrested, sat down with Breitbart News on his bus in Manchester amid a ten-county tour of the Granite State Friday morning – before a quick pit stop in Indianapolis to speak at the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meeting.

And... the circular firing squad begins.
This is why conservatives cannot have nice things.

Sorry this kind of rhetoric does not work for me. Who are you and what have you done to make me recognize your name? I would prefer candidates talk about why we should vote for them rather than resort to name calling and accusations.

Vivek gave a great speech at NRA yesterday. In fact I think it was the best! He named all the things he would do like eliminate the Depart of Ed & use the $$$ for security at schools. He would make a great VP for Trump!

Both Vivek and Trump as self-made billionaires.
Neither one holds a finger to the wind to figure out where he stands on anything.
DeSantis waits for his handlers to tell him what to say.
DeSantis also is backed by big bucks of the uniparty's GOPe wing that hates Trump.
He hasn't expressed their hatred for Trump .... yet.
But what's to stop him?

Guessing there is one thing DeSantis has done.
If New York, any other state, or the feds seek to extradite Trump, Florida will not cooperate. Likely, DeSantis has not telegraphed this, letting the Democrats run headlong into an invisible brick wall. Hopefully other Republican run states have done the same thing.
Not buying what Ramaswamy is saying here.

When DeSantis talks the GOPe or the Bush wing is talking. I don't think he would say things or take such positions if he was financially independent. THAT is exactly his weakness. The best path would be for him to not enter, provide silent support to Trump, so as not to burn bridges with his current backers. Wait his turn in '28 with Trump's full support. The two have said nasty things about each other. But ,IMO are bigger men than that. But, this is exactly the scenario that Trump's Republican adversaries might want to head off. So, I believe, they have given DeSantis a now or never proposal which he cannot refuse. That is political reality.

I think Vivek is great. His speech at the NRA was awesome and he is unafraid to talk about the issues that really matter in a nonscripted manner. He is completely articulate and makes good, common sense. He has my vote in the future and I look forward to watching him move up through the ranks past RDS. Big if, but IF Trump is re-elected for a third time, I see Vivek in a high position in his administration.
Completely disappointed in RDS as I thought he was his own man, not controlled by Karl Rove and the like. Also doesn’t help at all that DeSanitis is funded by Ken Griffin and propped up by FOX news.

Ron can’t win without Trump supporters, period. I fear the GOPe is using him to get Trump. They’ve tried to deep six Trump for what, 6 years now? Yes, Desantis has been disloyal to Trump. His non response to Mara-Lago and his pissy response to the Bragg indictment are straight from Ryan, Rove, Bush, McConnell. I really like what he’s done in Florida for the children. Huge political miscalculation dissing Trump, IMHO. In politics, one must be careful to who tickles their ears. Shoot, it doesn’t really matter until we fix the ballot vs vote corruption. Think Biden in his basement, Fetterman in PA, and Hobbs vs Lake in AZ.

Exactly #1! The Left has got us right where they want us; scorching the earth and providing amunition for our defeat next year.
Vivek AND Trump should stop with the playground smears and tell us what their plans and programs are to stop this madness that is destroying our freedoms!

More and more, to my great dismay, I am starting to decide that DeSantis may be a Deep State actor who was assigned to be "the conservative leader" so that he can lead us to slaughter at some future time.
I am convinced now that Rep. Crenshaw is a fraud, only playing the assigned role, and I also think that Sen Cotton may be one, too. The WEF and Deep State periodically assign their agents to play "conservatives" until a really crucial situation comes along where they can massively stab us in the back, at the cost of their cover story.
I sincerely hope that I am wrong about DeSantis. He has done so much good - but I will be observing to see if he is a real conservative or only plays one on TV.

Ramaswamy is supposed to be brilliant. I fail to see any brilliance in his puerile attack of Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is an excellent governor who has gotten done what his voters wanted. He has done so despite the universal attacks by the Democrats and the media. He is strong and principled, which is what this country needs.
Ramaswamy has zero chance of being nominated so has assumed the role of attack dog seeking to curry favor with Trump. Not a good look.
By the way, there is no such thing as “anyone’s turn” to run for president. I’m a Trump supporter who of course will vote for DeSantis if he is the nominee. Anyone calling himself MAGA who would not do so is hardly MAGA.

#2 Thank you!
I don't like the strategy of Trump & team trying to destroy DeSantis, he is a great gov. and would make a great president in 2024 or 2028. On the bright side the Democrats will have nothing new to say about him.

#3, you say Vivek will make a great Vice President for Trump. I thought he was running for President. It sounds like he is just trying to replace DeSantis in the polling, if he does, then he will start in on Trump. I wonder what he will say about Trump and how he will do a better job.
