We’re coming up on another election of national importance—the Virginia governor’s race is November 2. My friends are hopefully suggesting on social media that this will be the election that turns things around, where the full anger of the common folk at being bossed around by autocratic overlords finally manifests itself and we throw the bums out.Mind you, they were saying the same thing with the same hope about the California recall election. And I said at the time, weeks before the vote was tallied, there was no point in hoping that patriotic anger would outbalance the massive machinery at work behind the scenes: Your votes didn’t matter

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), during her weekly press conference, lectured reporters, claiming they did not do a good enough job of “selling” President Joe Biden’s radical spending plan.Pelosi was pressed by a reporter, who pointed out a recent poll from CBS News showing that only ten percent of Americans can say they know a lot of specific items in the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill, in which they have jammed as many far-left ideas as possible to make for a sweeping one-time bill passage.“Do you think you need to do a better job at messaging and going forward,

Asked by an announcer to “help kick this thing off” at the NAPA Super DIRT Week Pro Stock 50 event at Oswego Speedway on Sunday, one young boy, who was asked along with another young boy and young girl, continued after the three intoned “Drivers, start your engines” by asserting, “Let’s Go, Brandon.” (Tweet/Video) (Snip)The “Let’s Go Brandon” meme was triggered on October 3 when NBC sports reporter Kelli Stavast was interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama after Brown scored his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win. Stavast stated, as shown in a video, that the crowd was chanting “Let’s go, Brandon!” when in reality they

Jon Gruden is no longer the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. This comes after a trove of emails from a decade ago showed the Super Bowl-winning coach using coarse language. Anti-gay, misogynistic, and racially charged rhetoric was used in the emails. So, it was a classic problematic word salad that the media feasts upon. It gave a chance for the ‘woke’ to rail against the NFL, sports, and white people again. Yet, let’s be clear—the emails are bad but it’s minor league compared to other scandals and shenanigans that have hit the league. Gruden resigned last night. Move on—it’s over. This isn’t Watergate (via NYT):

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” CNN Political Commentator and former Obama administration official Van Jones stated that President Joe Biden is doing good things, but he made claims about furthering his agenda, “then he steps on a rake and then he slips on a banana peel and then he falls down the stairs with some marbles and now people are looking at him in a negative light.” And people aren’t seeing “strong Joe Biden leadership that I think people were expecting,” and “the honeymoon’s over.” Jones also said that “right now, the Democratic Party is looking over the edge of a cliff,” and if this time next year,

Donald Trump’s 2016 victory was a shock to much of the country, but Silicon Valley took it especially hard. The progressive bastion of San Francisco had turned tech companies from libertarian idealists into liberal crusaders. The industry as a whole felt complicit in Donald Trump’s rise and was intent on doing everything in its power to suppress his voice and those of his supporters. From the beginning, the tech overlords were plotting how to strike back.In one meeting, Google founder Sergey Brin suggested that “Jigsaw,” a project Google had developed to combat Islamic terror propaganda, could be used to shape the opinions of Trump voters.

The “F Joe Biden” movement has become a national movement, showing up from college football games to protest marches, making it to concerts and onto live television. It’s even become so popular, it produced its own spin-off chant — Let’s go, Brandon — in part because of the refusal of an NBC reporter to acknowledge that the crowd in the stands were actually shouting “F**k Joe Biden.”When the chant broke out while Kelli Stavast was interviewing the winner of that day’s NASCAR race, Brandon Brown, Stavast claimed they were saying, “Let’s go, Brandon.” A meme was born, perfectly encapsulating not only the disgust with Joe Biden but with the fake media

The House voted Tuesday to extend the debt ceiling until December 3, allowing the Treasury Department to borrow $480 billion to pay the nation's bills. The vote was 219-206, with only Democrats voting in the affirmative and Republicans voting against. Lawmakers passed the stopgap measure approved in the Senate last week, which will be promptly signed by President Joe Biden. The vote was structured in such a way that members voted on a rule governing floor debate on three separate measures, allowing politically vulnerable lawmakers some cover,

President Joe Biden's approval rating is 10 points behind President Barack Obama's at this point in Obama's presidency, as Biden's numbers have been battered by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, among other issues. The Real Clear Politics polling average for Obama on October, 11 2009 stood at 53 per cent approval and 40 per cent disapproval, while Biden currently stands at 43 per cent approval and 52.3 per cent disapproval. A new Axios/Ipsos poll released Tuesday found that Americans are getting more pessimistic about the pandemic, and losing trust in Biden at the same time.

President Joe Biden could become embroiled in an FBI investigation of Hunter's finances, experts say, as emails reveal the father and son shared accounts and paid each other's bills. Emails recovered by DailyMail.com from Hunter's abandoned laptop between Hunter and Eric Schwerin, his business partner at consultancy Rosemont Seneca, show Schwerin was working on Joe's taxes, discussing the father and son paying each other's household bills, and even fielding requests for a book deal for the then-vice president, as well as managing the donation of Joe's senate papers to the University of Delaware. It is unclear why Schwerin had this intimate role in the vice president's affairs

Gabby Petito died by strangulation, was a victim of domestic violence, and her body lay undiscovered in the remote Wyoming wilderness for up to four weeks after her murder, a coroner revealed Tuesday. Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue released the findings of the 22-year-old van-life vlogger's autopsy in a press briefing Tuesday afternoon.CNN later obtained an official docket saying Petito had been killed by manual strangulation, meaning she'd hadn't been strangled using a ligature such as a cord or belt. Dr Blue had refused to comment further on how Petito was strangled during his press conference.

“They are not kidding. This is not going away… The only thing to do is to have a mass exodus from the public school system.” That was the startling pronouncement made by Quisha King, a Florida mom, to the attendees and viewers of the “Fighting Indoctrination on a National Scale” panel of the Family Research Council’s Pray Vote Stand Summit. Her statement came following the question “how pervasive do you think this problem…this indoctrination is across the country? And what are some things that you think parents can do?”
