Democrats Blamed After U.S. Steel
Cancels $1.5B Project in Pennsylvania

Executives with the U.S. Steel Corp. announced days ago that they are canceling a $1.5 billion project in western Pennsylvania that was set to bring thousands of middle-class union jobs to the region, a move that many are now blaming on Democrats and environmental groups. On April 30, U.S. Steel President David Burritt announced that a $1.5 billion project to majorly improve its Mon Valley Works operation with state-of-the-art steel casting, rolling technology, and a cogeneration plant is being canceled. The project’s cancelation means that about 1,000 union construction jobs will be lost for the region. Likely thousands more U.S. jobs in supporting industries will be lost as a result.

Not to worry... The enemy of the people, the media, will spin this to blame Republicans and the flat footed Republicans will accept the blame... It's just a matter of time. No D-RAT will lose the Dominion Voting Machine vote.

Erie, Pa. had a coke plant, which was under attack from the Sate of Pennsylvania, the EPA, and was finally done in by the local sewer authority, which refused to allow the coke plant to discharge any water into the sewers. (Coke making is a dirty. but necessary part of steel making. I have arbitrated at coke plants, and know what thereof I speak - or something.) Dementia Jo's handlers are keeping his promise of killing coal jobs, which, in turn, kills steel jobs. Any members of unions who voted for Biden are nuts. THat is why the 2020- election had to be hijacked by the dimocrats in Pennsylvania.

Que Sorpresa! What are the odds that all 1,000 of those union workers voted for Lyin Joe Biden and the Pittsburgh local government under their Lefty mayor added a few thousand more votes just to make sure. Enjoy the Green, folks. It's like that feeling you get when you wake up late and realize you missed an important meeting with the boss that morning. If I remember correctly, Hank Reardon of Atlas Shrugged was in the steel business.

I don't blame the Pennsylvania voters. They voted for Trump. It was the 3AM 300000 ballot dump in Philadelphia that won the state for Biden. I blame the PA Supreme Court and the Democrat supervisors of elections. I was in Allegheny County the month before the election. The Trump signs out numbered the Biden signs by 10 to 1.

First thought: US Steel still in business? Thought they bought Marathon oil so they could get out of the steel business. Maybe US Steel will build the plant elsewhere in a state that is more friendly to them. No doubt everybody was trying to tell US Steel what to do. From the union, to local and county officials, to state officials, to the feds. The project became undoable. That kind of scenario has happened before to US Steel. Definite blast from the past. Mon Valley Works is about 10-30 miles upriver from where I grew up. Didn't know there were any steel plants still open there. Wonder if this will be the death nell for them. A steel plant kind of comes with an end of life date. They are very hard to upgrade once they get really old, and the easiest thing to do is tear them down and build a new one either on the old site or elsewhere.

And how many of those union folks, or potential workers at that place will change their voting? And will the voting machines let their votes be counted accurately? Will the illegal votes of illegal aliens overwhelm the votes of American citizens? Trump was saving America. The globalists and Dems are intent on destroying America, and American jobs.

Well, PA, maybe you should’ve fought harder as the vote totals for PDJT dwindled from an 850,000 count lead to an inexplicable loss last November. What’s so surprising to me is the fact that so many who refused to fight the steal are surprised this is happening.

FTA: “In this case, final permits were never issued by the Department of Environmental Protection or the Allegheny County Health Department despite both entities having nearly two years to review the applications,” the state senators wrote. I will bet the people who work at these two agencies, were still fully employed and earning 100% of their paycheck each month during the pandemic. Thus, makes it hard to determine what they were actually doing during this time, and unable to review the application. What project(s) were more important than the potential for 1000 union jobs in their county?

The Pennsylvania ghetto dwellers don’t care about how many jobs are lost as Biden and the leftist Democrats are taking care of them with enhanced unemployment checks and stimulus checks. Remember Biden just said that he has a plan to put $7,200.00 in each of those people’s pockets, without any word of them having to work. Besides Biden is currently importing a massive number of illegal alien cheap foreign laborers to take whatever American jobs are available, and to keep the ghetto dwellers dependent upon the leftist Democrats on into the future.

2nd post apologies, but, #9, US Steel, circa 1981, changed its name to USX when it purchased Marathon Oil. And then along came T. Boone Pickens, the corporate raider, who forced USX to see Marathon Oil. USX even sold their US Steel building in downtown Pittsburgh to the California Teachers Pension Fund.
