Shark Tank star Barbara Corcoran has revealed when housing prices will go 'through the roof'. The self-made real estate millionaire said a fall in interest rates is key - to lower the cost of borrowing and attract buyers who will bid up prices. The 'magic number' is a fall of 1 percent to take mortgage rates under 6 percent. 'If rates go down, just another percentage point, prices are going to go through the roof,' Corcoran said in a Fox Business interview Wednesday. 'Everyone will come out and buy...'

I'm not convinced there's room for house prices to "go through the roof." My house (bought 11 years ago) for mid-six figures is now valued (and assessed) at over a million dollars. We thought we overpaid when we bought it.

In our area anything less than $600K has problems - a noisy high traffic street, was a crack house rental, etc.... $700K - $800K is the norm. A few updated homes have cracked $900K. It's crazy.

We are empty nesters approaching the queue to sell, but the constant phone harassment by corporate realty vultures have us hesitant to do so. Selling our late '70's suburban home to become another monopolized rental, with insane costs to buy anywhere near here, leaves us in limbo.

Intentionally done- create need for government to be answer- increase subsidized housing.. shuttle people to concentrated areas.. easier to control.. And at end of day- isn’t this the goal of WEF ?

I don't think the rush to buy is going to wait for interest rates to hit five percent. From several stories I've read, the buying frenzy has already started in many areas.

A mass shooting at a concert hall in Moscow killed more than 130 people. With many others seriously or gravely wounded the number of dead is likely to rise. [SNIP] The question that must be asked, as it has been suggested for some time, due to our open southern border, is this: Could it happen here? The answer must be an unequivocal yes. In fact, it has already happened here on Sept. 11, 2001. Does anyone seriously think America’s enemies would not be encouraged by that previous attack and the Moscow atrocity to conduct a repeat operation in America?

When Front Page Magazine applied to join Google’s AdSense advertising program, we were turned down. Since Google, like other Big Tech monopolies, has censored and deplatformed us in the past, we weren’t too shocked. But this time, Google told us why we had been banned. [SNIP] But the Google AdSense rejection told us what we could do to make our way into the good graces of the company that dominates online search and advertising, controlling what much of the country and the world sees. All we had to do was stop talking about Islamic terrorism. According to Google AdSense, our “entire site” contained “dangerous or derogatory content.”

Fugitive Venezuelan migrant Leonel Moreno has finally been arrested by ICE after almost two years on the run. The 27-year-old was picked up in Columbus, Ohio and is now in federal custody, Fox's Bill Melugin reports. Moreno has been hunted by ICE since he crossed the border illegally at Eagle Pass, Texas in April 2022. He was released as part of the Alternatives to Detention Program, which lets migrants on parole go free while officials track them until their next court date.

Police have warned Canada's leaders they will struggle to contain the fury at its deteriorating economy and a generational revolt by young people unable to ever buy a home. The secret report by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police paints an apocalyptical picture of the future for America's northern neighbor, predicting it will be riven by economic crisis, ecological meltdown and territorial disintegration. Last April, a hugely popular beer brand became the target of a successful boycott that severely impacted its sales. Now, Paris Hilton is on the receiving end of criticism and a petition drive from like-minded activist groups. [SNIP] One Million Moms writes that it believes Hilton is advocating an agenda with the commercial. "Hilton is attempting to normalize the LGBTQ lifestyle with its liberal advertising choices," the organization wrote. "The hotel chain is obviously pushing the LGBTQ agenda with this commercial, which depicts individuals, couples, and families, all in obviously gender-confused roles."

Kaylee Gain's high school has refused to hand over records to the Missouri Attorney General after he said that wanted to charge her alleged attacker as an adult following a vicious school fight that left her fighting for her life. [SNIP] In an interview on Fox News, right wing Attorney General Andrew Bailey spoke to host Laura Ingraham and claimed that the brutality was a result of an obsession with woke DEI policies and the soft-touch approach to justice under former St. Louis DA Kim Gardner and current Rep Cori Bush, a hardline progressive Democrat.

In an explosive interview with Martha MacCallum for Fox Nation, Judge said Democrat operatives combed through his well-documented history of alcoholism, something he chronicled in the 1997 book Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk, as a means to blackmail him. “They thought, ‘Okay, if we can get Mark Judge involved in this, we can sink Kavanaugh. But we have to get Mark Judge involved in this,'” Judge told MacCallum.

For the longest time, the media played this game of pretending that it doesn’t consist entirely of a bunch of leftist activists who exist to promote their political agenda and attack those of their political opponents. The pretense is wearing thin. And who knew that Ronna McDaniel of all people would be the breaking point? But it’s kind of like the way that the media’s attacks on dishwater liberals like McCain and Romney, portraying them as Hitler 2.0 just because they posed a threat to Obama, helped kill the media’s credibility. Yeah, tensions are really eased now.

Claim: Comedian Jon Stewart said this week that the loans at the center of the civil real-estate case against Donald Trump meant there were fewer loans available to other borrowers. “Money isn’t infinite. A loan that goes to the liar doesn’t go to someone who’s giving a more honest evaluation. So the system becomes incentivized for corruption,” Stewart said. Verdict: False. The amount of money available for loans from banks is not diminished when banks make loans to other customers, except in the rare case of a distressed bank that is capital-constrained. A loan to one customer does not subtract from a fixed pool of loans

The Gateway Pundit reported last week that Joe Biden issued the most radical environmental rules in American history to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles and force customers to drive ineffective electric cars. Now, a new report has revealed the effort to finish off the gas-powered car is well-underway in eight states. As The Daily Mail reported Tuesday, the rules being adopted in these states specify that only zero-emission vehicles, which include electric vehicles and certain plug-in hybrids, can be sold beginning with the 2035 model year. This is known as the Advanced Clean Cars II rule.

A California Democrat wants to tax sales of gold, cotton, tobacco and other goods linked to slavery — and to divert the money to black residents, in the latest bid to turn reparations into reality. The bill by Assemblyman Reggie Jones-Sawyer is one of more than a dozen bills backed by the California Legislative Black Caucus seeking reparations for black Californians, especially the descendants of slaves. They stem from a July 2023 report from the state Reparations Task Force, where Jones-Sawyer served as a member, and underscores efforts to turn controversial policies into a legally-binding compensation scheme.

Could it really take twice as long and four times as much money to replace the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge than it did to build it in the first place? The Key Bridge was built at a cost (adjusted for inflation) of about $200 million. Replacing it could take a decade and cost $400 million to $800 million dollars, according to experts in what has become a dismal field. “To actually recreate that whole transportation network" could take a decade or more, structural engineer Ben Schafer told USA Today on Wednesday. Huge projects, Schafer said, now take “rarely less than 10 years." Well, they didn't use to. By comparison, the Apollo program

The Uniparty is quietly scheming (again) to rig the system and prevent President Trump from ever becoming President. This scheme involves a two-part strategy: using a combination of strategically planned retirements of Republican House members, coupled with the passage of carefully tailored legislation to remove President Trump from the ballot on bogus Insurrection grounds that would likely pass muster with moderate justices on the Supreme Court, like John Roberts and Amy Coney Barrett, who prefer to avoid deciding on “controversial” legal questions and risk being seen in a bad light by their liberal peers. The fact that over a dozen House Republicans have recently announced their early retirement,
