Why the Russians Cut Off a Moscow Bombing
Suspect’s Ear and Made Him Eat It

Last Friday, terrorists attacked Moscow’s “Crocus City Hall” music venue, killing over a hundred people. My condolences to their families. Within a day, leaked footage showed a suspect getting his ear cut off and being made to eat it. Additional footage showed a suspect in great pain with electrical equipment attached to his genitals.
It was the type of gruesome footage from which we tend to turn away. We form our private opinions and don’t discuss them. I fear the silence allows some observers to regard this as extreme but effective justice. Perhaps people will tell themselves the word that has justified centuries of Russia’s self-inflicted tyranny: “order.”

I think this is barbaric but I kind of understand it. The desire for revenge is hard wired into the human race.
I suspect the perpetrators of this crime will all get the death penalty and that it will be carried out very swiftly.

Understand that Russian history is really barbaric, compared to other countries. Kick that Russian Bear and find out. Also, Viking blood in is many of the populace.

Recruit: "I have finished my training and would like an assignment."
Terrorist: "Good. We have need of you. Your target is in Russia."
Recruit: "Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so."

From an intel stand point, I disagree with torture. In that culture extrajudicial punishment IS a thing.

This sort of thing makes me cringe and I will not watch the videos. The net is loaded with videos of people being killed and maimed, mostly from Africa, China and lately Ukraine. They are the things nightmares are made of.
At the same time, this vengeful behavior may have a certain deterrent effect; something we dont seem to have in the US.

DGAF about what happens to an individual responsible for killing one and half hundred people. No matter what country. Let him eat the other ear if it results in bringing those responsible to justice, in this case, Russian justice. If that guy thinks the one ear is all they will do to him, he is in for a bunch more surprises.

Don't single out Russia. Torture is "officially" banned by the US Government agencies and the military but don't think its use has ever stopped. Terrorists are basically cowards and it usually doesn't take much to get them to talk. Many of them are proud of what they have done. The big flap over "waterboarding" during the Obama misadministration was a joke. When information gained will stop further attacks and identify the origin and handlers of the terrorists, extreme measures are deemed justified.

I don't know. In one sense the torture seems barbaric, but on the other hand it seems appropriate considering the crime. Certainly, I'm sure many Americans would have approved of this type of torture for any of the clowns that flew planes into the twin towers, or for those that shoot up schools. My rage would have certainly been directed toward those Muslims in the U.S. who were seen dancing and cheering after the 9/11 attacks. I still see that video in my mind.

I get it. He's of Ukrainian descent. He has feelings about what is happening. But, I rarely see anything about what precipitated the Russian invasion. The backstory is suspended - erased - by the warmongers. For them, truth is whatever the illusion is that is being weaved out of their imaginations.
Russia is brutal. Their politics have always been brutal. They have pretty much always been "othered" by their Western European kin since the time of Peter the Great. That they are being othered at this point in history is no surprise. How else to keep the United States paying for the umbrella of protection that we have been paying for since August 1945?

I have no concern for these bombers. I don't believe they have anything to do with ISIS, like Biden says.

Do you think the United States is any different? Look at what Obiden and thugs are doing to the J6ers, much of what goes on behind closed doors.

Hey, I'm one of those "some observers who consider this extreme but effective justice."
Sorry If that terrifies the author's delicate and cowardly sensitivities.
There's a time and a place for turning the other cheek. And there's a time for extreme drawn out torture and execution of a monster to deter the other monsters from acting out.
Why is this so hard to understand?
