When an intelligence agent purchased illegal firearm components from China, an Intelligence Community contractor searched through employee security files and another such contractor profited off of government service, the IC watchdog raised the alarm. But federal agencies within the community failed to act for months, according to bombshell testimony delivered to Congress this week.
The Intelligence Community Inspector General Christopher Fox testified that his watchdog office lacks the proper authority to carry out investigations into alleged wrongdoing inside the Intelligence Community and instead is often hampered by “tribalism” among the agencies.

Russian President Vladimir Putin faces a stark choice. Ukraine’s long-range drone campaign has emerged as a game-changer, bringing the war directly into the heart of Russia. In recent weeks, Ukrainian drones have repeatedly struck oil refineries in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Moscow’s main refinery in Kapotnya was hit twice in a single week in mid-June, sparking massive fires that sent thick plumes of black smoke billowing over the capital and disrupting fuel supplies and airport operations.
Similar precision strikes have targeted refining and storage facilities across Russia, knocking out a significant share of the country’s refining capacity and directly undermining the economic foundation of Putin’s war machine. All Posts

Gustavo Gordillo is the co-chair of the Democratic Socialists of America in New York City. During a recent interview with Spectrum News, he explained how the DSA is basically exploiting the Democrat Party’s infrastructure to get their people elected.
It just confirms that these people are not even Democrats. They are an anti-Israel, Marxist contingent that is merely using the Democrat party instead of building a party of their own.
Regular Democrats are so starved for wins, that they are allowing it to happen.

A few days ago, I wrote an article for our VIPs, updating you on some of the various efforts the Donald Trump administration and our South and Central American allies are taking to pursue the cartels and narco-terrorists who flood our region with drugs and violence. You can check it out here: Boats Down, Tons Seized: Let's Check In On the Region's Anti-Narco Activity. A lot of these stories don't make MSM headlines, but they're happening nearly weekly (I already have more to share in the days ahead).

The idea of Joe Biden's administration working closely with gun control groups is about as outrageous as someone eating eggs for breakfast. We all know it happened, at least to some degree, and it's nothing new. Both sides work closely with organizations that align with their administrations' interests.
But did the Biden White House go too far with it?
That seems to be the big question before a House committee that wants to know just how closely the administration worked with anti-gunners.It's unclear exactly what the ramifications of such interactions might be, though legislation designed to prevent this sort of thing seems the most likely response.

One way our nation's most "prestigious" newspapers show they're Democrat Party propaganda sheets is when their fashion critics apply all of their tawdry partisan biases to their evaluations of the clothes of politicians (or their spouses).Robin Givhan of The Washington Post was a transparent Democrat, and so is Vanessa Friedman of The New York Times. A white pantsuit worn by Hillary Clinton, as well as the feminist Democrats at the State of the Union, was very chic. But when Tulsi Gabbard wore one while she criticized Hillary at a Democrat debate in 2019, it suddenly carried "connotations of the fringe" and displayed "somewhat combative righteousness (also cult leaders)."

The big Oil Companies are not dropping their price at the pump commensurate with the sharply lower prices they are paying for Oil. Those prices are dropping like a rock! In other words, customers are being ‘gouged.’ I have instructed the DOJ to immediately start looking into this. Gasoline prices better start going down a lot faster than what I’m seeing!”
That was President Donald Trump on June 24 in a post on Truth Social, stating he had ordered the Justice Department to investigate alleged price gouging at the gas pump, noting oil prices are falling faster than gasoline. The implication is there might be illegal price collusion.

The New York City Rent Guidelines Board approved Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s key campaign promise to “freeze the rent” on Thursday — in a move landlord advocates slammed as “an absolute farce.”
The board passed a rent freeze on both one-year and two-year leases for the Big Apple’s roughly 1 million rent-stabilized units in a 7-1 vote. Arpit Gupta, an appointee of Mamdani’s predecessor Eric Adams, was the one no vote.
It came hours after the public resignation of one of the RGB’s nine members, Christina Smyth, who accused the panel of ignoring its own data during the lengthy process to decide whether to adjust rents —

Democratic socialist candidate Darializa Avila Chevalier won a shocking primary victory in New York, but veteran Democratic strategist James Carville is not celebrating.

NewsNation interviewed Carville on Thursday for his response to multiple far-left candidates winning in New York. While he downplayed some of the panic as essentially being about three seats in New York, he nonetheless argued Avila Chevalier should not be associated with the Democratic Party.
