The New York Times faced yet another wave of backlash over its coverage of Queen Elizabeth's funeral, with readers now threatening to end their $17-a-month subscriptions. In its latest story on Wednesday, the Times reported that the British taxpayers would front the bill of the funeral costs, which will reportedly cost more than $6 million. The story labeled it a 'hefty price tag' amid rampant inflation in Britain, but readers were unamused by the article as they slammed the tone of the reporting regarding the late monarch of 70 years.

I never understood why Americans gave a single thought to the British monarchy in modern times. If they want to spend UK tax dollars/pounds supporting a bunch of inbred fools that's their business. They're nothing but tabloid fodder. Not my country, not my tax money, not my business or concern.

I dunno, #1, maybe it’s because of the enormous contribution of England to civilization around the world. I’ve never understood the total ingratitude of louts who’ve contributed NOTHING to mankind as they enjoy the comforts of civilization brought to us by brave people who crossed an ocean in wooden boats with a Bible in one hand and Magna Carta in the other. Only a fool drenched in modern relativism could fail to understand this but I get it … it’s OK to trash my ancestors. I’ll not entertain any last minute conversions or apologies should hostilities break out on our soil. Only God Himself will be able to accept their last minute apologies as 7.62mm and .50 cal messengers have them crying out His name. No mercy for those who whine about the loss of freedom and liberty after spending their entire lives trashing the English and Europeans who built this great nation. Have a little respect and gratitude towards the culture responsible for spreading education and Christianity throughout the world, along with buildings, roads, bridges, infrastructure and technology. Good grief.

According to the NY Post and other sources it costs American taxpayers $2.4-3.0M in Secret Service alone every time Brandon goes to Delaware. Also, I never really understood the role of British monarchy until recently when I heard Mark Steyn explain it on Megan Kelly’s show. I get a sense of it when I realize that even I, a born and bred American, feel a sense of loss and stability at her passing. She was a comfort and reassurance that wisdom superseded the rough and tumble of partisan politics. Also, the military services in Britain are called “royal” because they belong to the reigning monarch and can only be used at his/her discretion. #3, a good reminder and #5, she and her fellow soreheads would at least be doing something useful.

2, this isn't the 1500s. She didn't sign the magma carta. I'm not paying for her funeral. This is an internal issue to the British people and none of anyone else's business. None of the NYT's business as an American paper to trash her nor mine or yours to defend her. It's no different than when they trash Trump or praise Biden or Obama or Hillary. Who are they to comment? I believe in big thick borders, separate distinct cultures and laws. Their internal business is no one else's business.

I recall when Obama decided to pay an official state visit to India. There had been some terrorist unrest there, so the military spent a fortune sending a couple of ships there for Obie & Big Mike to stay on, rather than risk the hotels. By reason of the military and huge secret service details, the total cost to the USA for the Obamas' visit was over half a $billion.

Media’s Top Eight Hunter Biden Laptop

In commemoration of the launch of our first movie, My Son Hunter, I have attempted to find the origins of the contagion that is Hunter Biden laptop denial. It was one of the biggest stories of the century, broken in one of the country’s oldest papers (the New York Post), and by a terrific reporter (Breitbart’s own Emma-Jo Morris). In an era of endless spin and fake news, this story was 100% factual. Yet it was almost instantly dismissed as Russian disinformation and censored from the Internet. Who was behind this massive hoax? How did they pull it off? Were these people conspiracists, liars, ignoramuses, or some combination thereof?

Four days before she died, the Queen had an important announcement for the shooting party she had invited to spend a few days at Balmoral Castle. Dinner that Sunday night would be informal, she said. No black tie for the men nor long dresses for the ladies and, unusually, there would be no piper. For decades the skirl of the bagpipes had been an indispensable soundtrack to every occasion at the Scottish castle so this was a real break in tradition. Her guests were her Bowes-Lyons cousins, relatives through the Queen Mother's family to whom she had always been close.

Especially considering the “demographic winter,” which is so evident in Spain and Italy. “In Italy there are empty villages with just twenty old ladies and nothing else,” he said. “Why can’t we make a policy in the West where immigrants are included with the principle that the migrant should be welcomed, accompanied, promoted, and integrated?” he asked.
