The Queen's rather perky last days at

Four days before she died, the Queen had an important announcement for the shooting party she had invited to spend a few days at Balmoral Castle. Dinner that Sunday night would be informal, she said. No black tie for the men nor long dresses for the ladies and, unusually, there would be no piper. For decades the skirl of the bagpipes had been an indispensable soundtrack to every occasion at the Scottish castle so this was a real break in tradition. Her guests were her Bowes-Lyons cousins, relatives through the Queen Mother's family to whom she had always been close.

Hate to be this crude, but has there been an official declaration what the Queen died of? Other than having mobility issues before her death I have heard nothing about it, just wondered if her heart just gave out. Good for her that she was planning to have some guests, people that she liked. Who wants to have 'arry' and the American aging 5th rate actress over?!? Thank God that she had her son and daughter at her side when she drew her last breath.

Rumor has it bone cancer…pretty remarkable as she received her new Prime Minister only 48 hours prior to her death. Maybe a heart attack from the cancer? I was truly hoping she’d outlive her halfwit NWO/WEF loving son, Two Buck Tampon Chuck.

From the article, it appears that the Queen had a lovely summer at Balmoral with her staff and family making sure she was well taken care of and as happy as she could possibly be with her health issues. I certainly hope so because she earned it. She lived her life as the epitome of British resolve with duty being the driving force in her life. It is hard for Americans to understand her exceptional lifestyle but she managed to do her duties to such an extent that the British people respected and adored her. It is a shame that during the last few years of her life that her grandson made her life so stressful with his attacks in the media why declaring undying love for her which makes zero sense. Clearly his life took a wrong turn when he hooked himself to a toxic woman who will never be satisfied with her lot in life and lives to create chaos. Her actions will weigh on his mind in the coming months and years and I can’t see a good outcome for him. Nevertheless, he made his decision to abandoned his family which must have cut his grandmother to her core. It will be a terrible burden going forward after her death to have the reality of his recent neglect of her on his conscience. There will be no time for apologies and reconciliation now. Queen Elizabeth II live an extraordinary life and the world is a better place because she was in it. My heart goes out to her family and the. Entire nation as they say their last goodbye to her on Monday. She deserves every accolade given her and each and every show of respect because she certainly earned them. God comfort her beloved family, the people she served for more than 70 years and the entire nation.

What a beautifully written and detailed account of the Queen's final summer. Written by the editor-at-large for the DM, what a pleasure to read. Too often articles in the DM are sloppy. If you normally skip pieces from the DM, make an exception for this one. What magnificent tribute to Her Majesty! Ramona (the Pest)

There was some discussion about her being recently diagnosed with bone cancer but if you look at her hands as she greeted PM Truss, she was obviously having bad circulatory issues. My guess would be her heart.

I have read that the purple hands you see in her last pictures are indicative of vasculitis, which causes inflammation of the blood vessels. They don't know what causes it, it could be genetic or a result of your immune system going haywire and attacking blood vessels by mistake. I know the Queen had Covid in January and I'm sure she was quadruple jabbed.

The Queen’s mother lived to be 102. I wonder if the Queen might have lived to 100 if she hadn’t gotten the clot shot and boosters; still it was a good long life.

While the news cycle has been firmly focused on Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida for sending illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard, there’s another Republican governor in the country also delivering results. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin rose to power in 2021 after shocking the pollsters and defeating Clinton bagman Terry McAuliffe, who was running for a second, non-consecutive term. The Republican’s victory was largely predicated on cultural issues, specifically dealing with what is being taught and done in public schools. On that subject, Loudoun County became ground zero after numerous reports revealed the school board had covered up a sexual assault

The Duke of Sussex, 38, is said to have considered wearing a morning suit to avoid embarrassment as the monarch's eight grandchildren carried out a sombre guard of honour inside Westminster Hall last night. William and Harry, both dressed in military uniform, stood at either end of their grandmother's coffin. They were joined by cousins Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and Lady Louise Windsor and

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has challenged Ron DeSantis to a debate over his decision to send 50 migrants to Martha's Vineyard - just as the Florida governor doubles down on sending more migrants to Democratic 'sanctuary cities.' Earlier this week, DeSantis mimicked his Texas and Arizona counterparts in sending over groups of migrants to Democrat-led cities up north in protest of the Biden Administration's border policies. Newsom and other Democratic leaders have slammed the move as playing with people's lives, with the California governor going so far as to call for kidnapping charges against DeSantis.

Despite the White House fury that GOP governors face for sending migrants to sanctuary cities, El Paso's Democrat-led city government has been doing the same for weeks -- and is asking for the Biden administration to pay for it. Led by Mayor Oscar Leeser, a Democrat, the Texas border city has dispatched at least 28 charter buses filled with migrants to New York City since August 23, at a cost of more than $600,000, KFOX-TV reported this week. City officials say that they expect the buses to be paid for by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as part of a quarterly reimbursement process covering emergency food and shelter for migrants.

They’re missing the point, though. Seeking to prove that Trump did nothing wrong in possessing these documents is like trying to establish that the victims of Stalin’s show trials weren’t in fact Trotskyites. Well, of course they weren’t. But Stalin didn’t care if his enemies – perceived or real – were Trotskyites or “counter-revolutionaries.” What mattered to him was that they were his enemies.
