Princes William and Harry will take part in a special vigil in honour of the Queen on Saturday, it has tonight been reported.
The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex are set to join the Queen's six other grandchildren in a special 15 minute vigil at Westminster Hall.
The eight grandchildren will reportedly stand in silence beside Her Majesty's coffin, in a scene which will mirror the Vigil of the Princes.
The special vigil saw King Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward, stand guard at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh earlier this week.

Nothing brings out the worst and or the best in a family (any family) like a funeral. (A bit off topic but Elizabeth and Phillip had homely children.) Carry on England. Anyone can be replaced. Wonder how long Charles will last as King? His close family members did live to be quite old. William might be into his 60's before he takes the throne. Not a royal watcher but it will be interesting to see if Charles can keep his opinions to himself like his mother did. That is probably one reason why she was so admired by her people. RIP

# 1 As the monarch, Elizabeth was not allowed to be political. Charles as a prince had plenty of opinions , most of them way to the left. As a monarch he's supposed to totally non controversial. We shall see.

I thought Harry and his bride washed their hands of the royal family. So Harry wants to be part of it when it suits him. Get to wear the uniform but don’t do the work. He disgusts me. Spoiled brat.

I admit to not reading the entire very long article but…what is that salad on the front of Harry’s uniform?

Can Harry survive the 15 minute grandchildren's vigil without holding MM's hand?

Their uniforms were stripped for a reason. Chuck is going to be a lousy king.

And THIS is why I sneer whenever I hear a fellow American declare theyd want to live in a monarchy. We have our soul-detractors here, but it is HARDWIRED into our system to be able to get rid of these kids of idiots if we really wanted to.
I repeat: if we really wanted to!!! Considering how that vile, demon-infested Yacht Girl is plotting to insinuate herself into the AMERICAN government system, you'd better keep that in mind. How patriotic would it be if Americans showed the Brits that we know what Government is for (to put grifters into place.)

For what it is with both Andrew and Harry had actual combat experience. Andrew in the Falklands and Harry in Afghanistan. The rest got royal attendance ribbons.

In our country, veterans are allowed to wear their old uniforms for certain events. I would think participating in a state funeral would fill the bill.
