This is not going to be a surprise for regular CTH readers; however, Politico is outlining how a group of Lawfare ideologues meet every Friday to discuss their constructed legal filings and the next week of attack angles against President Donald Trump.
In essence, the core group inside the meeting are what Christine Blasey-Ford called the “beach friends” when discussing who constructed the legal avenues for the ridiculous attack against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
As we have noted for the past several years, it’s this same group of Lawfare ideologues,

Gee, I wouldn't suggest this, but too bad we don't have some Republican grandpa out driving while shopping for gifts for his grandchildren with cell phone monitoring/tapping/recording equipment in his car some Friday.
(Remember the Dem grandparents who just happened to do that to record a conference call with then-Speaker Mr. Newt )

I would have to wonder if they aren't violating anti-trust laws by colluding, and certainly sounds like they might would be running into the RICO statute.
They would seemingly have information about certain cases that would violate attorney client privilege in order to have their discussions.
Who is paying them would be another issue, and how they are reporting back to.
Might be interesting to know if they are billing their hours and to whom.

A REAL FBI would be arresting these traitors for planning an actual insurrection.

Their actions strike at the heart of our most fundamental rights. They should be indicted, prosecuted and jailed for election imterference at the least.
Pray President Trump is reelected and can begin taking out some of this vile garbage.

#1, I fear that is the only solution to this problem because they are not going to go quietly into the political good night. Not calling for it but for efficiency’s sake, it would make the task much easier. Anyone believe these fascists are going to admit defeat? They will burn the country down first. The evil that has visited this great nation for the sole purpose of dragging us into a dystopian nightmare will not accept defeat without being made to. They are not going to shake hands and leave the field of battle. We have to be prepared to do whatever is necessary to make them walk away. It’s going to take courage and determination to root them out of every agency and office. It’s going to take time but we have no choice. The alternative is unthinkable. We certainly do live in interesting times.

They conspire to interfere in the election, all the while shaping accusations of Trump conspiring to interfere in an election. Without consequence--in this life.

Sounds like "Collusion" to me. President Trump should sue this group of losers for slander, libel, and malicious legal persecution. It's time to clean house in the legal practice and restore integrity to justice.

Thanks for posting, OP.
FTA - " The Politico outlines how Lawfare operative Norm Eisen organizes the weekly Lawfare meeting and lists the participants who also join in. Remember, Mary McCord, Norm Eisen and Andrew Weissmann are the primary Lawfare agents."
Also FTA - "The meetings are off the record — a chance for the group’s members, many of whom are formally or loosely affiliated with different media outlets, to grapple with a seemingly endless array of novel legal issues before they hit the airwaves or take to print or digital outlets to weigh in with their thoughts."
So, this is how and by whom strategy to destroy Trump and others is discussed and preparations made for the upcoming week and how the msm will be supplied with next week's story headlines.
I see that Bill Kristol, John Dean (from the Nixon watergate era), George Conway (who was once one of President Trump's fair-haired boys), among other participants, attend these meetings. Also included are Obie's legal go-for boy, Harry Litman, and also Barbara McQuade and Joyce White Vance who all come from Obie's administration. Easy to understand why Obie stayed in DC to quarterback this entire affair.
An interesting question - who is paying the participants for their time in the meetings? Afterall, lawfare attorneys and dim operatives don't work for free.
I would hope that the pubbies have their own team of lawfare participants who also meeting weekly to plot weekly strategies for destroying their dim enemies. But a problem. The msm would ignore them.
For what it is worth, it's good to finally see who comprises lawfare's inner circle and how it influences the judiciary and the msm. Interesting that this expose comes from Politico.

Ah, Billy Kristol and the Pol Pot Project as “attendees..” How come I’m not surprised? Got something to hide, reprobates?

Traitors colluding to take down political opponents through Lawfare should be disbarred and shipped off to a nice enemy combatant re-education camp... Am I doing this right, Libs?

Knowing who they are gets us 90% of the way to taking them out. (Figuratively speaking of course. I wouldn't REALLY twist a neck around until it snapped)
Could this be why the rotten cabbage head never misses his four-day beach time on the weekend?

Damn! We are so very smart, aren't we? We don't expect to actually GET Trump, but we are just this neat little Hate Group of back-patting, cute, smart, quasi-important and well connected people who enjoy being a thorn in Trump's side, or ache in his tooth, or pain in his butt, whichever is the most annoying. And dammit, we LIKE us. Don't much care if you get the point or not. It's the potentiality that matters; what Trump thinks we MIGHT do. We may be men, but we-be-bitches! Deal with it.
