The Biden administration appears to be using a federal agency to go after a family that has donated significantly to Republicans by suing its company for “racially discriminatory hiring practice” over background checks. The business, Sheetz Inc., is a chain of convenience stores and the Sheetz family has long supported Republicans in Pennsylvania and the Midwest, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. In the last few years, the Sheetz’s have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican causes and political candidates,

I love Sheetz and was so happy when they showed up in Ohio. I had no clue about their politics. I just was grateful for how clean they all are and how friendly the staff is. Leave it to Biden to try to destroy them. I think I’ll go fill up my gas tank (if I can afford it) and get some breakfast there today.

Sheets does not control the FACT that background checks show that minorities commit more crimes and are eliminated from their pool of potential employees. As long as Sheetz denies employment equally to all people based on the checks, what's the problem? Sheets is looking out for their business and their customers. They have no obligation to hire anyone they don't feel confident will benefit their company. The EEOC has no business interfering.

So Sheetz , a privately owned company, did not want hire proven pyros, kleptos, pedos, and/or violents of any color to manage gasoline, money, and customer relations (adult and young) at their facilities? And the gov wants to run this grand social experiment at Sheetz’ expense? Essentially, the Gov is in the untenable position of violating equal opportunity when POC’s with antisocial rap sheets are given hiring priority over, other less privileged groups, such as veterans

So a business that hires a known felon, one of the FIRST grounds of finding a deep pocket to sue should that felon commit ANOTHER crime while in the employ of the business, is that they ' could or should have known' that said felon was, indeed, a felon, and the potential of the crime now falls on the employer to provide relief to the victim. Also, a business that hires someone to handle money, customer relations, and dangerous, explosive chemicals, some employers must be more selective than others. Like many businesses, the employer hires PEOPLE - not demographics. How dare our government force employers to do what gov't has failed to do in rehabilitating known criminals.

FTA: "In the lawsuit the Biden administration writes that Sheetz has maintained a longstanding practice of screening all job applicants for records of criminal conviction and then denying them employment based on those records." Yes. They screen ALL job applicants, a responsible and socially desirable practice. Race doesn't enter into it, but criminal convictions do. The company has an obligation to its own employees and the public to weigh the risks of hiring someone it knows has been convicted, not just accused, of a crime. Note the pattern here, where the power and resources of our own government are being turned against citizens, not to correct a wrong, but to punish political opposition. That is both corrupt, and an abuse of power. Just say no, America.

Surprise! A company doesn't want to hire any thieves or thugs. You do not treat thieves and thugs the same as everyone else. Regardless of color. Apparently, that is discriminatory. The government thinks they should only hire black thieves and thugs. Blacks don't want equality (it doesn't even exist). They want preferential treatment.

Yeah, since at least 1/3 of all adult black men have at least one felony conviction a background check is "racist". effectively, they are admitting that blacks are doing the overwhelming majority of violent crimes. NO it is NOT. Do the crime.....don't get hired by many or most employers. 100% on the criminal class for this. Let the felony backgrounds stay where they are EARNED.

Employees of federal agencies must go through "suitability determinations, which include background checks and credit history. The background checks must not be racially discriminatory, given the percentage of blacks and other privileged minorities, way out of proportion to their population percentage. In other words, minorities are overrepresented within the federal government, precisely as democrats intended.

The issue of presidential immunity is being tested in the DC political Lawfare case against President Donald Trump. As the Jack Smith prosecution claims President Trump tried to “overturn the results of the 2020 election,” the issue of presidential actions intended to secure & protect the legitimacy of election outcomes becomes a focus. The legal counsel for President Trump has stated any action by the president to ensure election security falls within official acts, and is therefore subject to immunity from prosecution. The special counsel claims the act of reviewing an election outcome is a private benefit to the president and not part of presidential immunity.

Former White House attorney Ty Cobb said he is “almost certain” former President Trump’s federal election interference case won’t be tried before the November election, after the Supreme Court heard arguments related to it Thursday. “So, I think it benefits Trump in the sense that it’s almost certain that this case will not get tried before the election, in my view. So it benefits him in that regard,” Cobb told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.” On the other hand, nothing that the justices are going to do is going to benefit his case, other than the delay,” he continued, adding the justices won’t buy Trump’s “absolute immunity argument.”

Some of the signs say "pro-Palestine", "ceasefire now" and "end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza". But these benign statements hide a far more malignant agenda, the end of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, the end of America as the world's leading power and the end of democracy and the free market economy. Even if there were a unilateral ceasefire, accompanied by massive humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, many of these protests would continue, because Gaza is merely an excuse for a much wider agenda: to destroy Israel and destroy America.
