Russian troops have been accused of carrying out 'daily' illegal chemical attacks on the Ukrainian front line. It has been reported that drones have been circling over multiple positions along the Ukrainian front and dropping 'tear gas and other chemicals', which are banned during wartime under the Chemical Weapons Convention. A commander of the Ukrainian army told the Telegraph: 'The only way for them to successfully attack us [is] with gas,' because his troops are so embedded attacks with conventional artillery or drones firing missiles was difficult.

I guess they just don’t understand what it means to destroy your own credibility. Grandma cancer patient was sentenced for carrying out an insurrection. Not credible. Neither is the messenger.

Fits with historic patterns of Russians ignoring all the rules of war and working to be the most barbaric. I visited an aluminum smelter in Siberia in the late 2000s time period. There was a German built and paid for memorial for 900 German WW2 POWs who had been shipped to this area to build that plant in the middle of the war, and they were never released after the war, just kept as slave labor until they were too old to work and then released. I noted an unusually large number of blond headed inhabitants in the town, Krasnoturinsk. The aluminum smelter was unusual in that it ran on coal, where virtually all our aluminum smelters have been powered by hydropower because smelting aluminum takes immense amounts of electricity. After many years working in Russia and with Russians, there are many very nice, pleasant friendly people there, but also there is a very, very dark side to the Russian psyche which seems to have been there for many centuries.

The videos of Ukranian troops being blown up in trenches by drones dropping bombs would seem to indicate a different story of how well embedded the Ukranian troops are.

Kamala Harris reminds us a vote for Biden

Choosing what it must think is the lesser of two evils, the Biden campaign has Vice President Kamala Harris hitting the campaign trail, rather than continuing to conspicuously keep her under wraps. Problem is, upping Harris’ visibility can only remind voters that she’s likely to rise to the top when President Biden is no longer even able to fake being up to the job — and, worse, remind them of her utter awfulness. For the record, her net favorability shows as -17.2 in the latest RealClearPolitics polling average (37.2% favorable, 54.4% unfavorable), vs. Biden’s -14.5 (+40.7%, -55.2).

As many of you may already know, Monday will provide millions of Americans with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse as the path of totality streaks across several U.S. states. One of those states is New York, and it's already prompted one of the state's professional baseball teams to make some changes to their schedule. The New York Yankees were originally scheduled to face the Miami Marlins Monday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. local time. But the team announced it has pushed back that start time by four hours because the eclipse is slated to begin just minutes before first pitch.

Students at a Missouri high school start their school day with morning hunting, then proceed to butchering and cooking animal carcasses. At Maysville High School in Maysville, MO, a farm-to-table class has been offered by family and consumer science teacher Amy Kanak and agriculture teacher Brandi Ellis since 2022. Students learn to hunt, dissect and identify animal organs, process the harvested meat, and prepare it for cooking as part of programs offered by the Missouri Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter.

Three out of four British Muslims do not believe Hamas carried out murder and rape in the October 7 attacks in Israel, a shock new poll suggests. The largest survey of its kind since the current Israel-Hamas conflict began also shows 46 per cent of those questioned saying they sympathised with the militant group. The findings come on the six-month anniversary of the October 7 massacre which saw Hamas terrorists kill about 1,200 citizens and take 253 hostage. Interfaith leaders say the results show how 'a lot of work needs to be done to inform, challenge, and address old anti-Semitic tropes that are still circulating'.

Trump’s winning Michigan. I mean, the auto workers are smart enough to know that EVs mean you’re getting replaced with a robot,” Kid Rock replied.

Fast food chain McDonald's will buy back all of its Israeli restaurants following a boycott of the brand after it was criticised for giving away thousands of free meals to Israeli soldiers. The move to donate meals to troops was later renounced by McDonald's franchises in some Muslim countries, highlighting the polarized regional politics that global corporations navigate during war. Some Western brands are feeling the impact of boycotts in Egypt and Jordan that have now caught on in some countries outside the Arab region including Muslim-majority Malaysia. The popular chain said it had reached an agreement with franchisee Alonyal for 225 outlets across the country employing 5,000 people.

Hankey told DailyMail.com he approached Trump after hearing about his efforts to obtain bond for a larger $454 million court judgment, then issued the bond for the lower amount after Trump's team came back to him.

Seattle City Council members say they're working with Mayor Bruce Harrell's office to find an emergency solution to the cadre of migrants who camped at Garfield Tennis Courts, part of a community center used by local schools. A $50,000 donation has paid for the migrants and their children to return to the Quality Inn Hotel in Kent, but it's not clear what they will do when the cash for 61 $70-a-night rooms runs out next week.

One of the things that frustrated me about Trump’s (first?) term was his seeming complete indifference to #TheResistance that manifested before he even took office. Unelected bureaucrats working in the ridiculously invasive executive branch’s many agencies, publicly declared war on him, and he . . . well, he did nothing. Until the final year of his presidency when he seemed to finally take aim at the problem in his own branch of government–we can call it the deep state, the resistance, the entrenched bureaucrats who oversee far too much policy in America and who are, apparently, answerable to no one. Not the voter, not the president. So then-president Trump launched
