During the Trump presidency, Pentagon officials refused to follow orders, substituting their own policies over the constitutionally ordained authority of their Commander in Chief. We know that officials lied about troop strength in Syria, attempted to undermine and kill the peace initiative with the Taliban in Afghanistan, and refused to call out the military to quell civil unrest during the George Floyd riots. This is gross insubordination.

Unelected bureaucrats will either be dealt with or we are done. I have detected their condescending arrogance when talking to long time federal employees in my OWN family.

When the bosses at the IRS FBI DOJ etc can sit in front of the peoples elected congressman and condescend or out right lie without an ounce of worry everyone on down the food chain will do the same thing. Until one of these filthy ba$$terdes are put against the wall nothing will change.

There are a lot of people that President Trump needs to send home on the afternoon of January 20, 2025 with instructions not to do anything until notified.
We may end up paying a lot of them not to work. And find out we didn't really get anything from them when they did work.
In fact, it would be nice if a couple truckloads of cardboard boxes arrived about that time saying "Compliments of President Trump and a Grateful America." Along with a box that can be checked saying "Contents Inspected by __________" and those boxes offered to all those sent home that day.

There is one way to get loyalty from the Pentagon leadership, and that is to strip their stripes. Do it! We don't need woke leading our military.

I thought that stuff like this is what they made firing squads for.

Milley worked more for the Chinese than for President Trump.

From reading the whole article and the litany of instances of insubordination and instances where presidents have used the military to quell domestic violence, it appears Trump has some culpability in not acting decisively, as did Truman relative to MacArthur's insubordination, also referenced in the article. The author ignores or underestimates the degree of support I believe Trump has from a majority of our service men and women outside of DC.

If you all will recall, Obama fired all the conservative military leaders and replaced them with the soft-headed, treasonous ones. Now we know why. If Trump returns to the presidency, he will have to clean house in the Pentagon as well as in the various cabinets, starting with State and then Justice.

Dems have been putting politically leftist, pliable, politically motivated officers in place for a long time. The upper ranks of the US military is shot through with leftist drones with political motives more than with patriots.

They were able to get away because Trump is unfocused and easily distracted by whatever shiny object hurled at him by the media. I

Is that so, #10? If I were as “unfocused” as President Trump, I’d be a very wealthy person, with an excellent track record of accomplishment during my four years as president. We should all be so “unfocused.”

One man can't do it all. Our country has been rotting since before Vietnam. EVERY oath taker in EVERY position who stood by and did nothing, who were more concerned with their own skin instead of the oath they took, is part of the problem. Every idiot Republican who is interviewed by the media and doesn't prepare a rebuttal to the gotcha questions, is part of the problem. Most of all the ' watchdogs ' who did not do their job and expose these traitors, Of course when the DOJ congress and the WH are infested by demons, it makes the job harder, but Trump did what he could, he needed more than lip service from a few and zero action by many to confront and punish people who literally would have been shot or hung in other times.

When Trump arrived in DC for his Inaugeration in 2016 he was a one man show against the DC UniParty and the intrenched career bureaucracies that make up the federal “swamp”. Trump cannot allow that to happen again, and when reelected and Trump arrives in DC he must have with him a loyal and veteran crew. Once reelected he could call all those politicized military officers back to active duty and bring criminal charges against them by way of General Court Marshals. See Section 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
