President Joe Biden suggested Friday he would have liked to fight former President Donald Trump when they were children, echoing similar rhetoric he has used, fantasizing about a physical confrontation with his rival.
During an appearance on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Show on Friday, Stern and Biden were discussing Biden’s stuttering difficulties as a child when he said he would have liked to meet Trump “head to head” “in the neighborhood.” (X Video) “But by that time, I was over most of the stuttering, but like, for example, you know, I mean, Trump makes fun of me,” Biden said.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem — a potential running mate for presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump — is getting attention again. This time, it’s for a new book where she writes about killing an unruly dog, and a smelly goat, too.

On Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan stated that it’s “not clear” that it’s even possible for Israel to have “a credible plan” for an invasion of Rafah that the White House would support.
Sullivan said, “[W]e have made clear that our policy in Gaza will be determined by the steps Israel takes, both with respect to facilitating humanitarian assistance that can save lives, and with respect to civilian protection as it conducts its operations. We have also made clear our absolute deep and fundamental concern about a major military operation in Rafah, because we believe, first,

Joe Biden on Friday morning called into “The Howard Stern Show” in an unannounced appearance on the far-left shock jock’s SiriusXM show.
Biden’s interview with Howard Stern was a total dumpster fire.
Joe Biden told Howard Stern he “got arrested standing on a porch with a black family” during the civil rights movement.
He claimed “women would send very salacious pictures” to him when he was a US Senator in the 1970s.
Joe Biden told Howard Stern he saved 6 people from drowning when he was a lifeguard back in the day.
At one point Biden said he considered jumping

The Associated Press (AP) admitted Friday that this week’s indictment of 18 Arizona Republicans is “part of a campaign” to “deter” Republicans from raising challenges and concerns about the integrity of the 2024 election.
Democratic Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes indicted 18 individuals, 11 of whom she claims acted illegally when they convened as alternate electors to certify the Arizona election in favor of Donald Trump while challenges to the tight election’s initial results were ongoing.
Under the headline “Charges against Trump’s 2020 ‘fake electors’ are expected to deter a repeat this year,” AP’s Nicholas Riccardi wrote the indictment of 18 people “could help shape the landscape of challenges

Joe Biden offered his praise and thanks to a group of wounded warriors at the White House earlier this week — but had his back to them for his entire speech until Jill Biden turned him around.
The bizarre gaffe occurred on Wednesday as Jill Biden launched the Wounded Warrior Project’s annual Soldier Ride from the White House lawn. [Tweet, video]
The confused president walked to the opposite side of the stage from the veterans, kept his back to them, and declared that they are the “spine of America.”
Biden said he had just signed a bill that “all the wounded warriors and warriors care about,

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has raised alarms over evidence suggesting that China is actively attempting to influence and potentially interfere with the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.
This revelation comes despite assurances from Chinese communist President Xi Jinping that his country would not engage in such activities.
In an interview with CNN, Blinken expressed concern over the evidence the United States has gathered, per Daily Mail.
“We have seen, generally speaking, evidence of attempts to influence and arguably interfere, and we want to make sure that that’s cut off as quickly as possible,” Blinken said.

Chattanooga, Tennessee, is known as “Gig City,” not for its many live music venues, but for its role as the first city in the Western Hemisphere to offer 1 gigabit-per-second fiber internet service to residents and businesses, an honor that it claimed in 2010.
In 2024, Chattanooga has come to be representative of a different movement—the labor movement in the South. An overwhelming vote by the city’s Volkswagen employees on April 19 to join the United Auto Workers (UAW) union was the first crack in a decades-long barrier holding back the labor movement south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
Until now, the Chattanooga facility has been the only non-union Volkswagen plant worldwide.

The White House Correspondents Association Dinner being held Saturday night is a D.C. institution first held in 1921 that awards reporters and raises scholarship money for journalism students. In recent decades the dinner has become a monster weekend bash for the media and the government officials they cover. Pre and after dinner parties and brunches bookend the dinner that has come to be known as the Nerd Prom. Media outlets vie with each other to get the best celebrity and government guests for their tables.

A model-turned DEI manager who was fired because she posed in front of an Israeli flag emblazoned with swastikas is now suing because her First Amendment rights were 'violated'.
Mashal Sherzad, 29, was fired from her position as the diversity, equity and inclusion manager at the University of Minnesota because of now seemingly deleted pictures that she accidentally uploaded onto her public social media of her posing in front of the controversial flag.
Sherzad, who identified as Muslim, and who is in a relationship with a woman, began her role in October, 2023, and travelled to Barcelona to attend a pro-Palestinian rally just two months later.

From New York to California, students protesting the Israel-Hamas war slept in tents at college campuses, as some universities moved to shut down encampments and arrested dozens of demonstrators after reports of antisemitic activity.
With the death toll mounting in the war in Gaza, protesters nationwide are demanding schools cut financial ties to Israel and divest from companies they say enable the conflict. Some Jewish students say the protests have veered into antisemitism and made them afraid to set foot on campus. At Columbia University in New York City, where early protests sparked pro-Palestinian demonstrations across the country, students and administrators have engaged in negotiations,

President Biden took the stage at the annual White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday and cracked jokes about his old age.
Biden spoke before a crowd of nearly 3,000 journalists, celebrities and Washington insiders at the Washington Hilton in Washington, D.C., as hundreds of anti-Israel protesters rallied outside.
The black-tie annual event gives Biden a major platform to speak to voters — and flex his sense of humor — while his approval rating sits at a historic low ahead of the November election.
Biden, 81, made jokes to make light of voters’ concerns about electing him into office for another four years in his advanced age. The 2024 election is in full swing.
