A Catholic bishop in Michigan weighed in on the discrepancy between President Biden's policies and his professed Catholic faith earlier this month, suggesting "forgiveness" for the president's "stupidity." Bishop Robert Gruss of the Diocese of Saginaw mentioned Biden during "Forgiveness as the Heart of Christianity," a lecture given on Apr. 5 at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption.

Two Republican lawmakers are trying to strengthen an existing Ohio law by requiring — instead of just allowing — school districts to create a policy letting students to be excused from school to go to released time religious instruction.

“The correlation between religious instruction, schools, and good government are embedded in our constitution,” Click said in his written testimony. “You will notice that HB 445 does not establish which religion but merely acknowledges the opportunity for religious instruction. This opportunity is open to all faiths.”
Former President Donald Trump said there is “probably a good chance” he will announce his vice presidential pick at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee in July. Generally, presumptive nominees announce their running mate in the weeks or months leading up to the convention.
“I don’t say anything is 100%, but you’re getting pretty close,” Trump said when asked by Scripps News political correspondent Charles Benson if he will wait until the high-profile event, which takes place July 15-18.
Waiting until the convention to announce a running mate is rare, but it could provide a major splash during what has become a mostly predictable four-day event.

The nine stations are seen without any of the cables attached to them as Beckler shows the core of the heavy duty cable, which is clearly rich in copper, whose value has soared in recent years.

Hell froze over when Bill Maher defended the likes of Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker on his show Friday. The NFL player recently delivered a controversial commencement address at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, which sent the Left into meltdown mode.
