Trump-backed Moreno wins Ohio Senate primary

Bernie Moreno, a former car dealer endorsed by Donald Trump, won a three-way GOP primary Tuesday for the right to take on Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown in Ohio. Moreno handily beat out Secretary of State Frank LaRose and state Sen. Matt Dolan, who was endorsed by popular figures in the state’s Republican establishment. But for months polling indicated it was essentially a two-person race between Dolan and Moreno. Moreno’s victory is a relief for the former president, who traveled to the state to rally on Saturday as the polls tightened. Ousting Brown is crucial to the GOP’s hopes of winning back a majority

Just Out:CNN Highlights Poll That Shows
Trump Has Massive Lead Over Biden on Issue
of Border Security (Video)

CNN data analyst Harry Enten recently cited a new poll which shows Trump with a nearly insurmountable lead over Biden on the issue of border security. It’s very easy to understand why. It’s just amazing that CNN reported on this. And remember, this is now the top issue for the 2024 election, even eclipsing the economy. Mediaite reports: CNN elections analyst Harry Enten observed that polling suggests that President Joe Biden is on pace for the worst performance by a Democratic presidential candidate with Hispanics “since we started polling the gosh darn thing” in an appearance on Anderson Cooper 360 Wednesday night.
Democrats' Soft-on-Crime Reckoning 1 reply

After so-called "progressive prosecutors" implemented supposedly "equitable" standards in response to widespread violence in the summer of 2020 that caused upwards of $2 billion in damage across the country, the natural consequences of soft-on-crime policies followed: more crime and more victims. Democrats continue to insist that their embrace of such lenient policies and programs — ones that treat perpetrators as victims while pushing actual victims to the margins — have not, in fact, caused more crime. Democrats say that "progressive" policies have actually helped reduce crime and claim FBI crime statistics prove as much.

Those on the environmental left cheering the Biden administration’s electric-vehicle mandates or Gov. Hochul’s offshore wind farms would be wise to heed a painful and embarrassing lesson New York is learning from its not-so-distant past. Not only do so-called “green” policies drive up consumer prices, decrease reliability and upend everyday life (say goodbye to wood-fired pizza ovens and gas-powered stoves), they often end up harming the environment they’re supposed to be saving. Talk about a lose-lose. Consider disgraced former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s forcing the Indian Point nuclear plant to close in

New Jersey’s four legislative leaders are vowing to address laws that dictate ballot design in the state. But what they’ll exactly do is unclear. In a rare joint statement Tuesday evening, Senate President Nick Scutari and Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin — both Democrats — and Senate Minority Leader Anthony Bucco and Assembly Minority Leader John DiMaio, said they plan to begin a “public process on ballot design in New Jersey.” They said that the state Legislature is best equipped to address laws around ballot design.

Let’s be honest. You know you like Trump, even if you hate him. And I know the reason why. You were brought up to avoid all people who exaggerated or stretched the truth or who portrayed themselves to be winners by denigrating the opposition. Your parents taught you to be humble and not brag about yourself, even in those instances when it was warranted. In school, your teachers routinely took you down a peg if you thought you were better than the guy who sat next to you. If you felt you knew more than your teacher and showed it,

In a withering report submitted to the United Nations Human Rights Council, Javaid Rehman, the Special Rapporteur on Iran, has accused the theocratic regime of crimes against humanity, barbarity, and repression. Mr. Rehman says the regime is guilty of “murder, imprisonment, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence, persecution, enforced disappearance, and other inhumane acts, that have been committed as part of a widespread and systematic attack directed against a civilian population”. The 42-page report contains a mountain of evidence of “institutional discrimination against women and girls” and other crimes which include “extrajudicial and unlawful killings and murder, unnecessary and disproportionate use of force,

There is a hilarious YouTube video titled What NYC is Now mocking the disgraceful state of the city’s lawless state that is now a haven for criminals. The video may be in fun, but is sadly based on fact. Far too many edicts coming from Mayor Eric Adams’ administration are simply mind-boggling. The city has been invaded by illegal immigrants from several countries and the mayor has ordered that they be sheltered in hotels, schools and senior residencies, displacing senior veterans, and resident citizens. In addition, a pilot program will be giving them $10,000 prepaid debit cards to buy certain items. What?!!

China has intensified efforts to block software that enables internet users to access banned websites during a top political meeting this week, a leading provider of firewall-leaping software told AFP. Beijing operates some of the world's most extensive censorship over the internet, with web users in mainland China unable to access everything from Google to news websites without using a virtual private network (VPN). And as thousands of delegates gather in Beijing this week for the annual "Two Sessions" meeting, VPN software has increasingly struggled to circumvent the censorship while outages have become much more frequent, even when compared to during previous sensitive political events.

San Diego County is one of the largest segments of California's homeless population, with more than 10,000. Locals in Pacific Beach say that the vagrants have moved from the city's downtown to their neighborhood and are openly defying laws banning them from camping out in their vehicles. The homeless are accused of not just camping out but bringing in drugs and leaving their garbage on the streets, ironically right next to signs that tell them they're not allowed to park there. Debbie Turnbull, who lives in the area, claims that it's a problem of the city trying to take the homeless out of the downtown area.

Democrats tried and true tactic when their policies failed and Americans abandoned them: blame Donald Trump. And it was no exception for Democrat Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson who claimed Trump supporters are the reason his homeless policy was rejected by voters. Johnson’s progressive agenda failed Wednesday night after 53.7 percent of Chicagoans voted against his homeless referendum, compared to 46.3 percent who were in support of it. The Democrat claimed that the same people who voted against his policy were “the same people who want to see Donald Trump … be president again.” “There were 38,000 Republicans that showed up and voted for Donald Trump… in Chicago,” Johnson said.
