Senator Josh Hawley, R-Mo., said that Attorney General Merrick Garland is at a crossroads after Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Hur declined to charge President Joe Biden for mishandling classified documents because of his mental state. Hur’s report, which was made public on Thursday, found that after a months-long investigation, Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials," but he concluded that no criminal charges were warranted, because based on "direct interactions with and observations of" the president, Hur and his team said "[i]t would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him

Man's got a point. Garland did not think this one through. Or perhaps he did, but is letting someone else pull the trigger?

That is absolutely correct! Thank you once again, Sen. Hawley! You can't have it both ways, Demonrats; that's against the Laws of Physics and Politics.

Garland looks like an ogre no matter which way he goes. He can prop Joe up on his horse like the Crusaders did with the dead El Cid or he can give him a proper sendoff.

President Non Compos Mentis 2 replies

Do you really think the bizarre angry-old-man cane waving performance of President Non Compos Mentis demonstrates his fitness for office? Because after that politically disastrous news conference in the White House is where we are now. Biden is no longer mentally fit to be commander-in-chief. He’s an empty husk. I told you he was a meat puppet years ago. Last week, on national television, he proved it. The world is on the edge of war. China is pushing us in the Pacific, Iran pushes us across the Middle East. Russia is taking Ukraine, despite our war party’s best effort to bring us to the edge of world

Conservative Republicans have managed to defeat the fake border security bill wrapped in a political ploy inside of a Ukraine bailout bill. Of course, no Republican should have ever imagined that giving open-border Democrats everything they asked for was a smart strategic position, but that’s what they very nearly did. Republicans had already passed a real border security bill within a few months of taking control of the House of Representatives following the 2022 midterm elections. HR-2 actually secured the border – by demanding that the Biden administration finish the border wall, ending Biden’s power to process aliens

According to the report released last week by Special Counsel Robert Hur, Joe Biden has a long history of mishandling classified material. Witnesses told Hur during the course of his year-long investigation that as vice president, Biden routinely took classified files and did not return them as required. “Mr. Biden was known to remove and keep classified material from his briefing books for future use, and his staff struggled--and sometimes failed--to retrieve these materials,” Hur disclosed in the special counsel’s damning 388-page report.

While Woody Allen once said that "80 percent of success is showing up," former President Donald Trump proved this week that the same could be said about "just sticking around." Trump had one of the best weeks as cases and critics seemed to implode, from the disqualification effort in Washington to the scandal in Georgia. Yet, Trump is not out of the woods and is facing significant threats in what is becoming a war of attrition. In Washington, the Supreme Court gave a chilly reception to the disqualification effort that bordered on the glacial.

The thunderous, blind rage with which Democrats and their media stooges are greeting the special counsel report on Joe Biden is a thing to behold. With apologies to Jack Nicholson and “A Few Good Men,” they can’t handle the truth. It’s as if Dems and their handmaidens really believed Biden was fit for duty, that the stumbling, mumbling, confusion and hiding were normal. And now they are wild with fury because they’ve been embarrassed by the revelation of explosive facts they should have known. That’s a possible explanation, but not the likely one. A more reasonable view is that their fury stems from the fact that they, too, were part of

Officials said there was little risk to the community since the case was identified and treated in the earlier stages of the disease. No additional cases of plague have emerged during the communicable disease investigation.

Vice President Kamala Harris sharply attacked Special Counsel Robert Hur's report on President Biden's handling of classified documents, Friday, as "politically motivated" and "gratuitous, inaccurate and inappropriate." A reporter asked Harris in Washington if she thought Hur's report that recounted several memory lapses by the president was fair. Harris blasted Hur as being "wrong on the facts" and thought he should have shown greater integrity.

You know, I think they are. I've even made a handshake bet that they will. But I'll confess to questioning my end of that wager more than ever, after the events of Thursday afternoon and evening. Even before the Special Counsel report arrived, the president had been spending the week mistaking European political leaders for their deceased predecessors. Then the report detonated. It announced that the DOJ would not pursue charges against Joe Biden over his unlawful conduct, despite evidence that he "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency," including items that were marked highly classified.

Democrats are growing increasingly worried about the state of President Biden's mental acuity after the release of the special counsel report stemming from his handling of classified documents. Special Counsel Robert Hur released the report on Thursday, and although the president won't face criminal charges, the report alleged the president forgot key details of his life, including information surrounding his time as vice president and his son's death, during pertinent interviews while the probe was being conducted. Biden called an unusual press conference after the release where he sparred with reporters

While the report stated that such actions "present serious risks to national security,” Biden will not face charges because he presents himself as an “elderly man with a poor memory” and it would be difficult to convince a jury he is guilty of a serious felony because to commit such a crime “requires a mental state of willfulness.” The report elaborated by pointing out he couldn’t

Those records included classified documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan, among other records related to national security and foreign policy which Hur said implicated "sensitive intelligence sources and methods."

The statement was issued in her name, as part of a fundraising email sent out by the Biden campaign.

History tells us such an effort would dramatically disrupt local communities and economies

Joe Biden is incapable of assuring voters he can handle another presidential term, his team has 'no plan' on how to deal with his senile behavior, and he should simply 'not be running for re-election,' according to New York Times authors. Anxieties from the liberal Times' Editorial Board and opinion writers show how worried they are that ailing Biden may not be able to beat 'bad man' Donald Trump this year. The back-to-back opinion pieces knifing the elderly president, 81, over the weekend comes after a Justice Department report ripped into his handling of classified documents and portrayed him as a forgetful old man.

In watching Biden’s speech the other day, I was disgusted by his words, attitudes, lies, anger, and abandonment of Israel. I usually listen to him without actually watching his speeches, but seeing him this time made me do a little research about his eyes… It is said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, and Biden’s pupils were so dilated that his eyes were solid black while he was reinterpreting the words of the special prosecutor. Looking at previous speeches, it seems that all of his “big” speeches have the same image: significantly dilated pupils. Since I don’t actually believe that he is the anti-Christ,

Napoleon Bonaparte is reputed to have originated the expression, “Never interfere with the enemy when he is in the process of destroying himself.” It’s to be hoped that, when it comes to the Democrats and their reckoning with Biden’s profoundly diminished brain power, Republicans heed this advice. In 2020, when Biden ran for office, conservatives warned that (a) he was a deep well of corruption, kind of like an unplumbed cesspool; (b) he was never the brightest bulb in the box, to begin with; (c) he was showing early signs, if not of clinical dementia, but at least of age-related diminished capacity; and (d) that he seemed to be in
