Former Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade said Sunday that his extramarital affair with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was “as American as apple pie.”
Wade told ABC News that “workplace romances” like his relationship with Willis “happens to everyone” in his first interview since his resignation from working on the Georgia election interference case against presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in March. “Workplace romances are as American as apple pie,” Wade told ABC News’ Linsey Davis. “It happens to everyone."

Neither formication nor apple pie are intrinsically American.

No they aren't. Most people have enough sense not to have sex with a co-worker and many who do are fired. You can't normalize something so wrong.

What an ignorant, well overpaid loser. By the same token, in the case of Willis and Wade, Wade likely also considers "American as apple pie" to mean stealing from your employer, money laundering, tax evasion, campaign finance fraud, obstruction of justice, evidence tampering, misuse of public funds, and embezzlement. These two throwaways are as American as Obama, not at all.

Except when you're a diversity hire attorney can you get away with such antics. Most corporations and large companies in the U.S.A. will fire employees caught "crossing the Rubicon" in a tryst between manager and subordinate. Rightly it's a "bridge too far."

Wade could be right, but that apple pie would need to cost more than half a million dollars and be baked by his immediate supervisor who ate the pie with him while on a Caribbean cruise financed by the consulting dollars she gave him for work he was unqualified to do.

This reasoning is exactly why liberals are trying to take God out of society. The result? Any kind of behavior is okay. Unfortunately for Nathan Wade and liberals, God says differently in His Ten Commandments.

I know a lot of black people who would vehemently disagree with him on that point, believing that a man & a woman make a marriage and not a harem of women as a substitute for a marriage

I have worked for over 40 years and no, it is not "As American as Apple Pie" to have an adulterous affair with a co-worker nor is it to use taxpayer money to go on illicit get-ways. The two of then should be in jail, not adjudicating bogus lawsuits against a political enemy.
