The city will pay a total $2.1 million to three white Department of Education executives demoted under ex-Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza and replaced by less-qualified people of color, they charged. (snip) Herrera, who had a Harvard master’s degree, was working successfully as CEO of the Office of Safety and Youth Development when one of Carranza’s deputy chancellors abruptly stripped her title and replaced her with a “less-qualified” Black man, Mark Rampersant, who held a GED, the suit alleged. (snip) Feijoo — then-Senior Supervising Superintendent who oversaw 46 DOE superintendents – was replaced by an underling, Cheryl Watson-Harris, who is Black and, at the time, lacked the required NY licensing.

A model-turned DEI manager who was fired because she posed in front of an Israeli flag emblazoned with swastikas is now suing because her First Amendment rights were 'violated'.
Mashal Sherzad, 29, was fired from her position as the diversity, equity and inclusion manager at the University of Minnesota because of now seemingly deleted pictures that she accidentally uploaded onto her public social media of her posing in front of the controversial flag.
Sherzad, who identified as Muslim, and who is in a relationship with a woman, began her role in October, 2023, and travelled to Barcelona to attend a pro-Palestinian rally just two months later.

An incident involving a physical attack by a female Secret Service agent tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris is raising questions about whether the agency had thoroughly vetted her during her hiring and whether an ongoing push to increase the numbers of women in the service and boost overall workforce staff played a role in her selection. (snip) But Herczeg’s bizarre behavior didn’t stop. She then began mumbling to herself, hid behind curtains, and started throwing items, including menstrual pads, at an agent, (snip) In 2016, Herczeg, then an officer with the Dallas police force, filed a gender discrimination lawsuit against the city,

Comcast/NBC/Universal’s streaming service, Peacock, lost a whopping $639 million in the first three months of 2024. (snip)
Oh, so Peacock is on pace to “narrow” its losses from $2.7 billion in 2023 to … … … $2.556 billion in 2024. (snip) And it’s not just Peacock bleeding billions. Other than Netflix, all the streaming services are losing billions as the Golden Affirmative-Action Goose that was pay TV dries up and dies. (snip) Eventually, economic reality will force these streaming services to stop with the woke programming, the gay sex, and the left-wing lectures and produce stuff Normal People want to watch.

During a portion of an interview with NBC News that was aired on Tuesday’s “NBC Nightly News,” FBI Director Christopher Wray stated that the agency isn’t monitoring the protests on college campuses because they “don’t monitor protests” as a general rule, “but we do share intelligence about specific threats of violence with campuses, with state and local law enforcement,” and “when violence ensues, that’s when we get concerned, when you have threats of violence.”

The Democrats hold a one-vote majority in Minnesota’s state Senate. (snip) Their skinny majority is now in jeopardy, however, because a DFL senator has been arrested for burglary. (snip) The Democrats’ leadership is determined to avoid any loss of power, so Mitchell is now changing her story. (snip) The idea that Mitchell broke into her stepmother’s house via a basement window at 4:45 a.m. to carry out a wellness check is laughable. (snip) C'mon now. Who hasn't travelled 3.5 hours for an unannounced welfare check of a vulnerable relative at 4:30 in the morning, entering through a basement window, wearing all black, and wielding a modified flashlight?

House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly apologized to President Joe Biden for rolling his eyes at the president’s angry State of the Union address in March.
Johnson’s office did not deny his apology when Breitbart News asked for comment.
The apology is the latest revelation that suggests Johnson’s sympathies lie with the establishment and Washington, DC, elites, rather than with the voters who elected him to Congress and the Republican conference.
Just last week, Biden steamrolled Johnson by allowing Democrats to, in effect, seize control of the House, thereby allowing Biden’s agenda to sail through Congress.

Pope Francis commemorated Earth Day on Monday by warning that the planet is “falling into ruin” thanks to humanity’s failure to protect it.
“Our generation has bequeathed many riches, but we have failed to protect the planet and we are not safeguarding peace,” the pontiff chided on X (former Twitter).
“We are called to become artisans and caretakers of our common home, the Earth which is ‘falling into ruin,’” he declared, followed by “#EarthDay.”
For the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in 2020, Pope Francis issued a similar indictment of humanity’s failure to care for the planet, blaming human selfishness for the ruin of the earth.

President Joe Biden condemned antisemitism on college campuses on Monday — but equivocated, saying that he also condemned those who did not understand the Palestinians’ point of view.
“I condemn the antisemitic protests, that’s why I set up a program to deal with that,” Biden told reporters in Virginia. “I also condemn those who don’t understand what’s going on with the Palestinians and their — how they’re doing.” (snip)
Joe Biden ran on the Charlottesville “good people on both sides” lie. Now in 2024 we have Joe Biden actually doing what he claimed Trump did in regards to antisemitism
