Out of control New York University protesters swarmed and berated an NYPD chief and his officers – calling them “f–king fascists” – after they cuffed one of the demonstrators at an anti-Israel rally, wild new video shows.
The viral video, shared on X, shows NYPD Assistant Chief James McCarthy and his officers being chased and surrounded by protestors on Monday night while trying to get inside the NYU Catholic Center after arresting one of them.
“F–k you! F–k you, pigs,” the crowd could be heard shouting as they harassed the officers and demanded they release the woman in custody.

The Biden administration appears to be using a federal agency to go after a family that has donated significantly to Republicans by suing its company for “racially discriminatory hiring practice” over background checks. The business, Sheetz Inc., is a chain of convenience stores and the Sheetz family has long supported Republicans in Pennsylvania and the Midwest, according to records obtained by Judicial Watch. In the last few years, the Sheetz’s have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Republican causes and political candidates,

Mayor Eric Adams is trying to oust the interim chairwoman of the civilian oversight board tasked with investigating complaints against the NYPD, according to sources.
Adams’ close advisor Philips Banks asked Arva Rice to resign from her position at the head of the Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) sometime last week, sources with knowledge of the matter told The Post.
Rice, who was appointed to the board by Adams’ predecessor Bill de Blasio, was named interim chair by the current mayor in February 2022 and was believed to be on the path to a full appointment, the sources said.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Shanghai on Wednesday with U.S.-China ties on a steadier footing, but with a daunting array of unresolved issues threatening the stability of relations between the global rivals.
Blinken will meet with business leaders before heading to Beijing for talks on Friday with Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and a likely meeting with President Xi Jinping.
Blinken's visit is the latest high-level contact between the two nations that, along with working groups on issues from global trade to military communication, have tempered the public acrimony that drove relations to historic lows early last year.

Capitalism and racism go together?
I hear it all the time.
"Racism is intricately linked to capitalism," says famous Marxist Angela Davis. "It's a mistake to assume that we can combat racism by leaving capitalism in place.""Anti-racist" activist Ibram X. Kendi says, "In order to truly be anti-racist, you also have to truly be anti-capitalist."
This is just silly.
In my new video, Swedish historian Johan Norberg explains how free markets discourage racism.
Capitalists make a profit by serving their customers. The more customers they please, the more money they might make. It hurts the bottom line to exclude any groups.
"Look around the world," says Norberg,

As Columbia University’s most prominent alum, former president Barack Obama would seem to have a moral obligation to speak about what is arguably the most visible outbreak of antisemitism on American soil in his lifetime.
I refer here to the occupation of Obama’s alma mater by Hamas-supporters who have been openly threatening Jewish students, chanting “Kill all Zionists,” and shouting racial slurs like “pig.”
As I sat down to write this, five days into the protest, Obama had said not a word.
By contrast, Obama was tweeting about the August 2017 Antifa/white nationalist brouhaha in Charlottesville, Virginia before the day was through.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona is hitting the road this week in another attempt by Biden administration officials to buoy the president's dismal approval ratings by telling Americans to ignore their lying eyes and accept that everything is going well in America. On Tuesday afternoon, Cardona's travels will bring him to Arkansas.
According to the Department of Education, the secretary will "participate in a roundtable to highlight student debt forgiveness and speak with borrowers who have been approved for relief" and visit "a FAFSA clinic for high school seniors and families held at Little Rock Central High School."

A Douglas C-54 Skymaster airplane carrying two people crashed into the Tanana River near Fairbanks on Tuesday and burst into flames, authorities said. No survivors have been found.
The plane took off in the morning from Fairbanks International Airport. It crashed about 7 miles (11 kilometers) from there and “slid into a steep hill on the bank of the river where it caught fire,” according to Alaska State Troopers.
Clint Johnson, chief of the National Transportation Safety Board’s Alaska regional office, said it remained unclear what happened in the time between the takeoff and the crash but the tower operator “saw a large plume of smoke.”

President Joe Biden’s long, painful battle with Republicans in Congress to secure urgently needed assistance for Ukraine will end Wednesday when he signs into law a $95 billion war aid measure that also includes support for Israel, Taiwan and other allies.
But significant damage has been done to the Biden administration’s effort to help Ukraine repel Russia’s brutal invasion during the funding impasse that dates back to August, when the Democratic president made his first emergency spending request for Ukraine aid. Even with a burst of new weapons and ammunition, it is unlikely Ukraine will immediately recover after months of setbacks.

The idea that Qatar has been acting as a mediator in the negotiations between Israel and Hamas is nothing short of laughable. Qatar has actually long been staunchly aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood organization, of which Hamas is an offshoot.
The Muslim Brotherhood -- according to a hearing at the U.S. House Subcommittee on National Security on July 11, 2018 -- is a militant Islamist organization with affiliates in over 70 countries, including groups designated as terrorist organizations by the US.
""Qatar has huge influence over the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestinian affiliate, Hamas.... For too long, Doha has danced between its Islamist allies and its Western and Arab partners."

On the face of it, who can object to diversity, equity and inclusion? It is like objecting to Santa Claus. Unfortunately, these [DEI] workshops too often have been hijacked by radical ideologues who pitted races against each other.
Who indeed is to blame for the wave of hatred toward Jews that is roiling Canadian workplaces, universities, unions, social media postings, even our streets and neighbourhoods? Who are the purveyors of antisemitism? Over the last several years, Canadian employers have increasingly brought in "diversity, equity, and inclusion" (DEI) trainers to rid their workforces of conscious, and even subconscious, racism. On the face of it, who can object to diversity, equity and inclusion?

Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump is on the brink of a monumental financial windfall. An 'earnout' bonus is set to grant him access to a staggering 36 million shares of Trump Media and Technology Group, currently trading as the ticker 'DJT' at approximately $35 a share. This bonus, a game-changer for a man running a costly presidential campaign, could potentially make Trump over a billion dollars richer. The stock, which initially opened at around $70 before soaring to about $80, has experienced some fluctuations in recent weeks but has consistently remained above the $17.50 benchmark for 30 days, thereby paving the way for the bonus to be awarded to Trump.
