While discussing the ongoing NYPD clearing of the virulent anti-semitic protest at Columbia University, MSNBC host Alex Wagner and her guest, New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg, noticed the historic parallels between this moment and 1968- and where it ultimately led. Watch the aforementioned exchange, which closed the show’s live coverage of the protest clearing, as aired on MSNBC’s Alex Wagner Tonight on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024: ALEX WAGNER: Michelle, the- Hamilton Hall is- for people who are not familiar with the Columbia campus: in April of 1968, 56 years ago, hundreds of students seized the building during protests over the Vietnam War. Dear Alex Wagner, you really think we want to go through another round of protests? We went through this in 2020 with Joe Biden on bended knee with the protesters. We have Covid inflicted on us and then we have to deal with protesters? Do you know how many people grieve for family members they lost due to Covid? And all we get is protesters and Democrats or RINO's whining about Donald Trump. It is tiresome. . .

FTA: "ALEX WAGNER: Michelle, the- Hamilton Hall is- for people who are not familiar with the Columbia campus: in April of 1968, 56 years ago, hundreds of students seized the building during protests over the Vietnam War. I do not think that was lost to the people who stormed Hamilton Hall."
This punk-ish generation has been spoon-fed "social protest history" so as to make the so-called "Peace Movement" of the late 60's early 70's sound "fun," and "exciting." They yearn to be on the front-line of any "cause," lest one pass them by. It sounds ridiculous, but look at how the "George Floyd protests" were made into a full-blown "Civil Rights Movement" by leftist media, or how the recent Russian invasion of Ukraine has been made into another Cold War Epic by leftist journalists... essentially the same ones through whom Walter Duranty secured a 1932 Pulitzer Prize for spinning absolute pro-Communist lies in the NYT regarding a few million Ukrainians starved to death by their Soviet overlords in Moscow.
This generation's lust for "cause" has doomed them to fall for anything the CIA-funded media concocts as "worthy."

I love this quote from the article: “ Upon watching the segment, one’s first instinct is to warn Wagner not to threaten us with a good time.“ Yea!

I remember the "oasis" of the Carter years...the 21% mortgage rates, the unemployment, the catatonic economy, the catastrophically failed green energy "moral equivalent of war", sky-high gasoline prices, and his disastrous response to the overthrow of the Shah of Iran.
Not really my idea of an oasis.

When Reagan was elected we witnessed an incredibly wonderful renewal of the USA. Reagan made America great again. May Trump repeat such a renewal. I really believe that this nation is now in a more dire condition than it was under Carter. God Bless America!

No, this has all been timed so that the majority of the American public will forget all about it, come time for the election. This is just to curry favor with the Muslim crowd for votes. Note how the dem politician’s have jumped on the cleaning out of the protester rat’s nests, demonstrating solidarity with the “children.” It’s all one, big production.
