Or you can just write the same word 100 times. It worked for Ziad Ahmed. The Princeton, New Jersey, high school senior was recently admitted to Stanford University after writing #BlackLivesMatter 100 times in response to the application question, 'What matters to you and why?' Good advice. Anti-2A activist David Hogg got into Harvard.

It would seem that our major universities have an idiot quota when it comes to admissions.

The case for saying ‘pregnant people’

The use of phrases such as “pregnant people” or “penis owners” in cultural or political discourse is sometimes met with confusion, or even anger. Why use these terms when, as some people ask, “only women can get pregnant” or when “only men have penises?” Those people and institutions using gender-neutral language aim to be cognizant of the fact that sex doesn’t always align with gender identity, said psychiatrist Dr. Jack Drescher, past president of the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry and clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University in New York City. And it’s the most inclusive, streamlined way to refer to everyone who, regardless of their gender identity,

I don't know how the Biden team people can look at themselves in the morning, knowing what they are trying to sell the public with Joe Biden. They have seriously sold their souls for Democratic control, but in the bargain, they're endangering the nation, with the empty husk of Joe Biden "in charge." I wrote about some of the bizarre remarks he made at the Cinco de Mayo event at the White House on Monday, including about two-year-olds crossing the border and the remark he made about cutting former President Donald Trump (which sounded like a threat).

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) did not say whether she met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un when responding to the inaccuracies reported in her new book. Noem has been facing mounting criticism over her forthcoming book, set to be released this week, and her inclusion of a story where she details shooting and killing a dog and a goat on her property about 20 years ago. In recent days, she has faced additional scrutiny after writing in her book that she had met Kim while serving in Congress on the House Armed Services Committee. The Dakota Scout reported last week that a meeting between Noem and Kim

Former CNN host Chris Cuomo said in a recent news segment that he is suffering from a health condition after he received a COVID-19 vaccine. Mr. Cuomo made the revelation during his NewsNation program when he was interviewing a nurse practitioner, Sean Barcavage, who was featured in a recent New York Times article about vaccine injuries. “We know that vaccines can have unintended consequences, AKA side effects, but nobody’s really talking about it because they’re too afraid of blame, and they just want it to go away,” Mr. Cuomo said. “But the problem is people like Sean—and me—and millions of others who still have weird stuff with their bloodwork and their lives

As we've previously documented, the Biden White House has employed a new strategy in recent weeks designed to make the way President Joe Biden shuffles when he walks across the South Lawn a little less noticeable to the public. It's what I call "Operation Hide Joe Biden," and up until Thursday, the hiding consisted of his handlers swarming him as he either walked towards or away from Marine One, making it harder for him to be visible and in some instances effectively making it impossible to see him. "Some Biden advisers have told Axios they're concerned that videos of Biden walking and shuffling alone — especially across the grass —

While story after story comes out detailing just how deep leftist activists have infiltrated our school system, this story shows that there's at least some good sense in Oklahoma. According to Fox News, Oklahoma Superintendent Ryan Walters fired a warning shot at The Satanic Temple after they said they would be placing their on ministers in public schools if Senate Bill 36 becomes law. The bill, recently passed by Oklahoma's House, would allow volunteer chaplains into public schools provided a background check clears them of any prior criminal history, including sex offenders. The bill also allows for chaplains to be dismissed for negligence and moral misconduct.

Five West Virginia middle-school track athletes who protested the participation of a transgender student in a recent competition have been barred from future meets and are now engaged in a legal battle with their school district that could end up at the Supreme Court. On April 18, during the 2024 Harrison County Middle School Championships, the student athletes — all girls — made local headlines by stepping out of the shot-put circle, choosing to forfeit rather than compete against a 13-year-old transgender female. The silent protest came after a federal appeals court struck down part of West Virginia's transgender sports ban, allowing the 13-year-old in question to compete

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and his oh-so-slender majority are going to help us find out. The House on Wednesday passed Rep. Mike Lawler's (R-N.Y.) The documentary Rather made its appearance yesterday on Netflix. Directed by Frank Marshall, the film premiered last year at the Tribeca Film Festival. It now becomes generally available via the streaming service. I watched the documentary twice yesterday in order to comment on it here. As it turns out, Star Tribune media critic Neal Justin fairly describes it and nails its shortcomings in 114 words, but there is more to be said. American men are opting out of the workforce at unforeseen rates. For many, it's not an issue of not being able to find a job. They have simply opted out altogether. The Bureau of Labor Statistics found only 89 percent of working age men have a job or are actively looking for work. In 1950, that number was at 97 percent. While the early 1950s saw around 96 percent of working age American men between the ages of 25 and 54 working full or part-time jobs, that proportion has now moved to just 86 percent, according to the Bureau of

Judas Iscariot was one of Jesus’s 12 Apostles. In the Garden of Gethsemane the night before Jesus's crucifixion, Judas betrayed Jesus to the Sanhedrin who eventually arrested Jesus. Jesus predicted this betrayal during the Last Supper. In exchange for his treachery, Judas received thirty pieces of silver. Could he have also been threatened? Who knows? The Bible says nothing about that. Modern day betrayals, particularly of leaders, occur via carrot or stick, reward or kompromat. For Judas, the price was a pocket of silver coins. For members of Congress, the price may be a do-nothing board seat, a cable news gig, or stock options worth millions.

A group of Republican senators has issued a stern warning to Karim Khan, the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), over potential arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials. The proposed warrants are reportedly connected to allegations of war crimes during the recent Israeli-Hamas conflict. The ICC, headquartered in The Hague, is said to be nearing the decision despite Israel’s non-membership and non-recognition of the court. Since the Palestinian territories were admitted as a member state in 2015, the ICC has asserted jurisdiction over alleged war crimes committed by both Hamas and Israeli forces in Gaza.
